Had that been a ghost? Nope surely not, Juniper had seen some ghosts around the school but not close enough so far. If she was being quite honest really they kind of freaked her out. Not because they were weird or she thought something was wrong with them but simply because it was hard to comprehend how someone that used to be alive was still here, but kind of wasn't? That was why Juni was now running down the third floor corridor, looking over her shoulder to where she thought she'd seen a person go through a wall. Her focus was solely on what had been behind her that she didn't notice before it was too late that she was running right into someone. As the Hufflepuff collided with a wall, except it wasn't a wall, she whipped her head around. with big brown eyes, resembling those of a deer in headlights, she looked up at the PERSON she had run into. To her utter shame she almost toppled over and had to grab the boy for balance, would it be too much to wish she was that ghost now and could just sink through the floor.

Turlough had gone off to grab a few books for he and his brother- leaving Tiernan for a few down in their dorm, half napping. He was on his way back, his bag bouncing a bit against his side, when out of nowhere a girl ran into him. Automatically his hands shot out, gripping her arms to steady her, and unintentionally he was glaring down his nose a bit at her. "Hey, hey, watch it," He griped, making sure she was steady before stepping back a bit. "What are you doing?" He looked to the hall behind her, searching for some unseen threat.

Juniper opened her mouth to apologize, to say something and closed it again. Repeating this a few times she looked back where she'd come from and then at the boy who had glared at her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run into you." The Hufflepuff finally got out after a few moments of looking like a fish on dry land. "I- uh there was a ghost? I think... It went through a wall... So I ran... Not used to ghosts..." She explained nervously looking back where she'd come from. "I'm sorry, I didn't hurt you did I?" Juniper apologized again this time turning to look at the boy carefully, in case her collision had somehow hurt him? He looked fine, everything was fine right?

Turlough softened- barely, just a tiny fraction, but still, he softened. She reminded him of his sisters. And Merlin knew he had enough of those. He let out a heavy sigh. "I'm fine. You need to watch where you're going- you're more likely to hurt yourself if you don't." He was gruff, glancing back down the hall. He didn't see any ghosts. "Running from your problems won't solve anything. You have to stand your ground and figure it out." He half scolded her, grimacing. He was hardly the nicest Whitlock there was, and perhaps his sisters were more used to his crankiness. Tate just seemed to ignore him, and Tiernan always encouraged him to just be who he was. He looked back to the girl, brow raised. "Unless you're trying to find trouble."

Juniper felt her face heat up as the boy told her she needed to watch where she was going since she was more likely to hurt herself if she didn't. Her cheeks flamed up even more at his next words, she felt like she was being scolded. "I wasn't running from my problems, the ghosts aren't a problem, it was just fight or flight and i chose to flee. I'm not much of a fighter." Never had been, she preferred to be soft and treat everything with kindness, she sort of regretted fleeing from the ghost even if it had scared her half dead it was still a being that maybe even could have used some company. She had moved her eyes to stare at the ground but he gaze quickly whipped up and widened as the boy insinuated she was looking for trouble. "No!" The Hufflepuff said way louder than she meant to, "I mean I'm not looking for trouble, what makes you think I am? I mean isn't trouble bad?" Juniper wasn't sure why it sounded more like a question at this point. She'd much prefer to stay out of trouble during her time at the school and preferably after it too.
