Alex had been thinking about visiting the wonderful cliffs, that where inside the perimeter of the Hogwarts castle. He had been there once before, when he had met Kiera, a nice girl who was famous in the Muggle community for her Gymnastic skills. He was hoping that he would be able to get another friendly chat like he did that day. The cool breeze that washed over him, cooled him down completely, making him feel cool and wet. His white hair, now short and spike, with his long rats tail in a plat.

The clothes he was wearing made him look older then he actually was, he was eighteen and looked like he would be in his mid twenties. Seeing as all the muggle men where wearing them these days. He was wearing a tight white shirt that clutched to his biceps and a pair of Jeans that looked as though they where brand new. He hardly ever dressed like this, but he was feeling as though he would need a change in appearance. His Nike Tn's stayed the same and always would, they where good shoes and he had had them for about two years now and they didn't even look like they where a day old.

He finally arrived at the cliff and looked out at all the country that laid below, it was beautiful, just how real and tranquil it seemed up there. He hadn't felt like this since he was at home, looking out upon the property , at which he now resided. He began to think what it would be like to be a bird, flying all above it, just looking down upon the world and seeing everything there. He could do it easily if he took his broom out, but it still wouldn't be the same, if it was his wings in which he was flapping in the cool breeze, that blew straight though him.

Isabella had just been at the Quidditch Pitch, practicing some drills on her own as she mulled things over trying to decide who to choose for the Quidditch team. This year was really tough and she was finding it impossible to please everyone and just didn't know what to do, so she had gone to the pitch to let loose and clear her mind. Uncharacteristically of her, she was wearing a white tank top, black vest and black jeans [middle]. Everyone knew that this Slytherin hated to wear jeans, she preferred to dress up more elegantly in dresses and skirts with tights, but because she had been flying and all her pairs of shorts were in the wash, she had reluctantly decided to wear her black skinny jeans.

She had to admit that they didn't look as bad as she made jeans out to be, and paired with her make up they made her look a bit older, but she still preferred her polished look. After she had flown around the pitch for a while, she decided to go visit the cliffs, a place she had been visiting more often now, it was peaceful though there always seemed to be someone there. With her Emerald Streak in hand, she climbed up to the cliffs and noticed someone else there already who looked much older. Immediately Isabella looked at him with a look of unfamiliarity but chose to ignore him and put her trusty broomstick on the ground as she picked up her messy, windswept hair up into a messy but cute bun.

Alex looked around at what sounded like someone jumping onto the ground. When he looked back he saw a young girl, who must have been flying around. He hadn't seen her around before, which he hadn't with most of the younger students seeing as he didn't spend his time wanting to know every single person, that occupied the school." Hey, it's a great day for flying isn't it." He said to the girl who would have been all but ten feet away from him.He chose not to move from where he sat, on the rocky edge but just turn to face her. " Do you come up here often?" He asked hoping that he would be able to end up having a conversation with this girl, and her not end up being like that Lexi girl he had met a day before. He didn't really like the idea of having someone hate him, it was just so unpleasant. It almost made his skin crawl.

He then cast his green eyes out over the, beautiful valley below, just to see what he could see but at the moment all he could see was a few Deer grazing in the grass below. It was a peaceful sight, seeing as they where totally unaware of his presence all this distance above. The large valley below was strange, there where only a few trees amongst all the land that was there. Maybe it was like that for a reason, or maybe something happened and all the trees got uprooted, but Alex still didn't know and probably never would.

Once Isabella was done pinning her hair up, she was going to turn back around and leave, allowing the older guy his privacy, but he suddenly spoke out loud and since Isabella was the only other person there, knew he was addressing her. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes and instead flashed him a small smile, just to be polite. She nodded her head curtly as he said it was a great day for flying, it was, and she had been enjoying it a few minutes ago. Now she was standing at the cliffs, a place she hardly visited at all, talking to some stranger - why had she decided to stop flying?

Isabella's thoughts were interrupted as the guy once again asked her a question. She looked up at him with her chocolate brown eyes as she finally spoke aloud, simply saying, "No." She was going to pick up her Emerald Streak and turn around and leave, but sighed when she decided she may as well stick around. She walked over to the edge of the cliffs and looked out as she said, "You're new," and turned to look at him. He seemed older, much older, but was he old enough to be a Professor? Isabella was afraid to ask for fear of confirmation that he was, that would just be weird!

" Nah, actually I'm not new here." Alex said as he stood up and turned around to face her. He had really done a good job, of blending in with rest of the students, he almost had made himself invisible, no body had known him until at least a week ago. " I've been here since my first year, but hardly anyone knows that." He said with a smile as he turned to face her. She was younger then he was, much younger, about four maybe five years.

His eyes wandered down upon her broom, it was really nice. He hadn't seen something like that, ever only at the world cup. It was beautiful. " I'm Alexander Fields." The Hufflepuff boy said as he extended his right arm to the girl. He knew she probably wouldn't take it, but it was just the way he was brought up, that made him do it. " That is a really nice broom you have there, how much that cost you?" He asked hoping that he to would be able to afford one, one day. He reached up behind him and scratched the back of his head, trying not to touch his rats tail in case the band that was holding the plat in snapped.

Isabella raised her eyebrows skeptically when the boy said he wasn't new and had in fact been here since his first year but seemed to have flown under the radar this whole time. Isabella didn't believe him at first, she was the former 'Gossip Girl', the girl who had spread rumors about everyone last year and published them in a magazine, and she was also the Hogwarts Monthly editor as well as on the yearbook staff, she knew every face of every student, how was it that he had gone by unnoticed, and unscathed from her Gossip Magazine? If he had been living under a rock this whole time (and at this point she expected it) she didn't want to talk to him. Isabella opened her mouth and nearly let a snide comment out, but stopped herself just in time and instead said, "What year are you now?" with a bit of curiosity.

Just then he introduced himself, extending his hand for her to shake. True to her elitist Slytherin self, Isabella was a bit apprehensive to shake it at first, but reluctantly held out her hand to shake it with his. "Pleasure," she stated curtly before deciding to introduce herself. "I'm Isabella Chaos," she stated with pride and authority, her name seemed to be well known around the school even if she was just a fourth year, true the rumors (or stories really) that were attached to her name were not the most nicest stories around, but still, she was well known and that's how she liked it.

Alexander, that was his name, then began talking about her broomstick, held loosely in her left hand. Isabella smiled at him when he said it was a nice broom and nodded her head in agreement. When he asked how much it cost she replied with, "200 galleons and worth every knut!" It was the best model of broom there was out there, and as the Slytherin Quidditch Co-Captain, she needed the best of the best. "I'm guessing you play?" she questioned, assuming so because he asked about her broom, though he had never been on a team before, she would've remembered him.

It was odd, the way that she seemed to not want to talk to him, but she still continues to speak. Her body language told him that she thought him of somewhat of a freak. He didn't really care what people thought of him, it was there decisions to be that way and it had nothing to do with him. " I'm a seventh year, Hufflepuff." He answered, she hadn't asked him what house he was in, but it sounded better when it was put together. " What about you? What year are you in?" He asked hoping that he would get answered politely, instead of rude, like some of the girl he had met over the past few days.

He nodded his head when she introduced herself as Isabella Chaos, it was a pretty name. He had heard the name before, but couldn't quite put a finger on it. One of the girls he had met had mentioned her name, he couldn't remember what it was about exactly. So he wasn't sure, but he knew it was definitely her. " Pleasures all mine." He said with a smile as he took his hand back and sat down on the rock formation, that was at the top of the cliff, which was the perfect height to sit on.

Alex was shocked to hear the price of her broom, it seemed so cheap for such a fine looking broom. " Really, two hundred Galleons. that isn't that bad." He said as he looked it over. He thought it was stupid her asking, if he played when she didn't even know who he was. The people who played quidditch where usually the most popular kids in the school and everyone knew there names." No, unfortunately not, im not to good at Quidditch. What about you?" He asked

[probs my best post :p]

[Well good job! ^_^ :p ]

Isabella wrinkled her nose in distaste as he said he was a Hufflepuff. No wonder he's so friendly, she thought to herself, not that it was necessarily a bad thing, but most people tended not to be so forgiving towards her after her Gossip Magazine last year. When he asked her what year she was in, she replied with the same tone of pride she had said her name with. "Slytherin fourth year," she said with a proud smile. Sure she was a lot younger than him, but she still had a lot of pride for her House who had won the House cup last year so her young year didn't matter to her.

Isabella nodded her head as he said that 200 galleons was not a bad price for a broom. She chuckled lightly but nodded her head. 200 galleons was rather pricey compared to the 75 galleon price of a Firebolt, a leap from 75 to 200 definitely showed how superior the Streak series was. Then again, compared to a few other items such as jewelry, 200 galleons was a good deal. She knew her mother had owned many rings and earrings (minuscule things!) that cost about the same price, it was ridiculous.

Isabella tried not to focus on the longing she felt in her heart for her mother and focused on the conversation she was having with Alexander. She cocked her head to the side, looking at him as he said he was no good at Quidditch. The comment surprised her because she had expected him to be an avid player because he asked about her broom, but just because he didn't play didn't mean he wasn't a huge Quidditch fan and still liked to watch the exciting sport. When he asked about her, Isabella said, "I'm on the Slytherin team, Co-Captain," she added with a bright grin. One of her very close friends Andrew was the other co-captain. "I actually just got off the Quidditch pitch, in case you couldn't tell," Isabella said, rolling her eyes at herself because it was obvious by her broom that she had just come from there.

Alex watched as she cringed, when she heard that he was a Hufflepuff. He knew what house she must be in, seeing as most of the Slytherins, he had met shared the same disliking to them, but Alex felt weird having someone not liking him, so he tried his hardest with all of them to get over the fact that he is a Slytherin and focus on the person at hand not on the house they where in. As the words hit him of her being in Slytherin, he nodded. " Only a youngen." He said his Australian accent noticeable.

Even though it was a fair leap, from the price of a Firebolt, He didn't really care at thier next visit to Obsidian docks, he would surely buy on, or one of the newer models. The old Nimbus two thousand and one had served him well, but he didn't like the fact that everyone could beat him in a race, now a days. " So that would have to be the latest broom out, wouldn't it?" He asked hoping it wasn't, hoping there would be a better one so he could spend all his money on it.

He nodded his head as he listen to her saying how she was the co-Captain of the team, which was a really good feat, for a fourth year to achieve. " You must be quite the player then." He said smiling as he looked at her tilt her head to the side." Yeah I kind of figured." The Hufflepuff boy said with a smile as he looked at the clothes she was wearing , it was perfect for quidditch. " So other then the school teams, which would be your favorite?"

Isabella chuckled but stuck her tongue out at him playfully when he said she was only a 'youngen.' She felt like she had been fourteen forever, and now more than ever wished her birthday would come faster, but January 1st wasn't that far away and she could be patient. When he asked if the Streak series was the latest broom out there Isabella scrunched up her nose deep in thought. She had made peace with her former caretaker Pammy, who was the owner of the Quidditch store in Obsidian, so she had visited her once at her shop and admired the different brooms. "Yeah I think so," she replied with a nod of her head. She hadn't heard of any other brooms coming out lately.

Isabella beamed when he said she must be quite the player. She would have to make sure to thank her dad for training her in Quidditch when she was younger. She used to think she was just an average player, but she had made the team since her first year, and in her third year had made co-captain, that had to mean something. When he asked what professional team was her favorite, Isabella immediately smirked and said, "The Holyhead Harpies of course!" It was somewhat of a cliche, for her favorite team to be an all girls team, but they were good and no one could deny that. If Isabella wasn't so fashion and gossip obsessed, she would seriously consider a future in Quidditch playing for the Holyhead Harpies. "What about you?" she asked him, surprised at how the conversation continued, but then again, he had brought up Quidditch and it was just hard for her not to carry on a conversation about it.

Alex smiled when she poked her tongue out at him, it was funny seeing as a a few of his other friends, did that quite frequently to him. It would be cool, if it wasn't the newest broom out, he had saved up almost three hundred galleons to buy himself his new broom and he wanted to make sure that it was a good one. " I wouldn't mind getting one, but it would be better to wait until a newer one comes out." He had always been someone to have the newest of everything, but he didn't like to parade it around, it was just knowing that he had it.

His green eyes began to wonder out over the valley, but quickly returned to her when she mentioned the Holly head harpies. There team was a good one, but there where plenty of other teams that where better. He knew it was because of it being a all women side, which he figured most women would go for them as well. " They would be my favorite to watch, but I reckon it would have to be the Bulgarians. You just can't beat them." He said with a wide grin on his face.

Isabella listened as he said that he wouldn't mind getting a Streak broom, but preferred to wait until a newer series came out. She nodded her head in understanding, she too had the mentality of wanting the best of the best. Right now the Streak series was the best so she had to make sure she had it, but as soon as their was a new model, you could be sure Isabella would skip out on her usual shopping spree for shoes just to buy the latest broom, Quidditch was something she was almost as passionate for like fashion. "Well, my best friend owns the Quidditch store in Obsidian," she said to him, referring to her old caretaker Pammy as her best friend, since that's what she had been to her all her life. "I'll make sure she keeps me updated on the brooms and pass the news on to you," Isabella said with a small nod of her head. She was honestly surprised at herself for offering to help him out, a stranger to her, for now at least, but she shrugged it off.

Isabella rolled her eyes playfully as Alexander said that the Bulgarians were his favorite team, stating that they just couldn't be beat. "Ugh, you're just like my dad," she joked, remembering how her father loved that team. Although he was pure Italian like she was, he had gone to school at Durmstrang and thus grown to know the country of Bulgaria. He had hated it there, but really did like the Quidditch team. Had her father not been such a nerd in school and focused on his studies all the time to work in the Ministry, he could've had a shot at joining his beloved team. "Puh-lease, I bet the Holyhead Harpies could whip them in a heartbeat!" she taunted playfully.

Alex smiled when she told him that her freind owned the quidditch shop at obsidian harbor and that she would keep a look out for anything new that came into the shop, and pass the new along to him, which would be really good seeing as he wanted that broom so badly. " That would be absolutely great." He said excitedly, knowing that he was going to upgrade from the silly nimbus two thousand and one. That he had sitting up in his dorm. He was never going to get rid of it though, seeing as it was a present from his biological mother for his eighth birthday, which was a month after the day his parents had died, it brought a little bit of joy into his life on that day but not much.

Alex couldn't help but laugh at Isabella's comment on how the Holly head harpies would be able to beat the Bulgarians. " Are you prepared to put a wager on that?" He asked not really serious about it but just wanting t prove that the Bulgarians are the superior team. He knew that hif he said it in front of a large group of women, he would probably get beaten to death. She probably thought he was a sexist type of a person, but he wasn't discriminating on them, they are a great team, it was just how it worked. " So how much you willing to put on this, twenty Galleons or fifty." he said with a large grin on his face.

Isabella nodded her head softly as if to say 'Don't mention it' when Alex said it would be great if she kept him informed on new brooms and such. This made Isabella make a mental note to herself to make sure she wrote to Pammy and her father soon, after her mother passed away she wanted to make sure that she kept in close contact with all the people she loved.

A chuckle escaped Isabella's pink glossed lips as Alexander suggested a wager, placing bets on which team would beat the other out. She cocked her head to the side as she raised an eyebrow towards Alexander. "Yes, I'm prepared," she replied coolly as she flipped some of her brown bangs out of her eyes. She mirrored his grin before it slid into her usual smirk as she said, "Fifty galleons," not afraid to place the higher bet, she had faith in the trusted Holyhead Harpies. Women were seriously underestimated and this bet was proof of that. "Better start saving up," she said jokingly smirking at Alex once more. She didn't care if she lost either, she had plenty of galleons to spare.

" Fifty it is then." He said with a smile as he extended his hand to her to make the bet official. He couldn't help but chuckle, at her telling him to save up, she wasn't aware of this but he had the money from his real parents and the money from his forster parents after they passed away. He began to wonder what it would be like if he lost, he had never handed that much money over to someone willingly. " I know it is going to be a tough game, but the good old Bulgarians will pull through. I'm telling you." He said smiling at her. It was his first bet with someone, and he began to think is that what friends do, or just people who talk every now and then, because he didn't know what he would call them.

(( Sorry its so short.))

Isabella chuckled as she saw him extend his hand for them to shake on it and make it official. "What you don't trust my word?" she asked with an eyebrow raised, he voice laced with a hint of playfulness. The Slytherin laughed lightly and placed her smaller hand in his and shook it firmly, making their bet official. Afterward she let go and looked out at the scene before her, allowing the breeze to blow her messy hair away from her face and cool her down from the Quidditch practice she had come from. Isabella smirked as Alex said the Bulgarians would pull through and rolled her eyes. "Not if the Harpies cream them first," she replied with pride for her favorite team. Isabella had a feeling that they were going to keep getting competitive if they kept this up, and she was not someone to mess with during a competition. First of all, she liked to win by whatever means necessary, she was a Slytherin after all, but when she did lose, she was a downright sore loser and she couldn't help it. She just hoped that their playful bet wouldn't get too serious that it made her turn into a sore loser.

Alex couldn't help but laugh, as she asked him if he didn't trust her word. " Yeah I do, it is just something we do. It would feel weird if I didn't keep it going." He said referring to Australian's, he didn't know if any other country was like that, but he knew his country was and that was all that counted, to him. Alex smiled, he could tell that Isabella and him where going to be friends, or maybe they already where, since he had a lack of friends it was hard for him to know what was going on for him." Please, everyone know that Harpies aren't good straight up, if there going to come through it will be in the end of the game, not at the start and the Bulgarians attack at the start is amazing, hope that the Harpies can keep up." He said playfully, his smile almost from ear to ear, he had never had a friendly type of a argument before, and he hoped it wouldn't escalate.

Isabella smirked as she listened to Alexander talk about the way the Harpies and Bulgarians played in comparison to each other. She 'tutted' and shook her head as if in disappointment as she listened to him explain but still had a smile on her face holding in her laughter. Didn't this guy know anything about strategy in a brutal game of Quidditch? Of course Isabella did, she was a Slytherin for crying out loud, and she had the conniving Henric Lee on her Quidditch team, the master of strategy when it came to Quidditch, they had used different tactics all last year so much that they had always been considered cheaters, when they had really only found loopholes and bent the rules. It wasn't their fault that they were smart enough to manipulate the rules to their advantage.

"Yeah, Harpies come through in the end because they like to play it cool throughout the game, then they strike when the other team thinks they have it in the bag," she retorted coolly. "The Harpies will definitely keep up with those silly Bulgarians, probably even surpass them," she added while flipping a few bangs out of her eyes. This bet was going to be interesting.

Alex smiled he knew his beloved team would have a game on there hands when they did play the harpies but until then he wouldn't know the out come. " Well we might just have to wait and see about that." He said a smile on his tanned face. The was something about the way Isabella was talking which made him think she knew what she was on about and he didn't want to push it and be wrong. " So when is there next match going to be ?"

[sorry its so small.]
