Henry was pacing around the first floor hallway nervously. He kept running seens through his head about how the very very near future could possibly play out. Come on Henry calm down! Zazuka's gunna think your a freak! Or worse, find out you like her! he yelled at himself in his head. That task was eaiser said then done. They Yule Ball was at the end of December and Henry was hoping to go with Zazuka, as friends anyways. Henry checked his watch yet again for about the thousandth time that day, it was almost eight, the time he had asked Zazuka to meet him. Henry looked out one of the windows and noticed how everything was covered in a light frost, maybe they would even get some snow this year. Henry sighed a little and watched with delight as his breath appeared before him. He kept doing that forgetting how nervous he had been just seconds ago.

Zazuka was the picture of weird perfection because she had spent the last hour making herself so. Before then her eyes had been red and puffy because the most horrible vision had came to her while she was looking out the window. She had been thinking of Brian yet again when her powers kicked in and showed her a scene in the window. It was Brian kissing a girl that was not her. Yes Zazuka had kissed Jon and knew that how she was feeling was hypocritical but that didn't stop it from hurting any less.

None of that was on her face though. The gloom in her heart was finally explained but again she wasn't going to show it. As was her manor Zazuka walked out to meet Henry and when she saw him she put on her best sun lamp type smile while walking up to hug him. "Happy to see you Henry." She said then smiling again. This was Zazuka these days, happy on the outside miserable on the inside.

Henry was still distracting himself with his own breath when he heard a musical voice and felt familiar arms wrap around him. Henry turned around and hugged Zazuka, "Happy to see you too"he said his smile growing even bigger and his nervousness returning tenfold. Henry didn't want to stop hugging the wonderful girl in his arms but knew that she would start to feel weird if he didnt so he relucntently pulled out of her embrace. "How is everything?" Henry asked. For some reason Zazuka just seemed a little less sunny then normal. Henry looked down at his shoes out of nervousness, Your acting weird! he told himself before looking back up again at Zazuka waiting for her reply.

(ZOMG so he's cute)

Zazuka let her arms slip from Henry with the kindest of smiles. Henry was just so kind to her that Zazuka wanted to cuddle him as she would have a teddy bear. She knew that would be inappropriate though. "Absolutely wonderful. I've made some good friends here that I know I will stay in touch with long after leave Beauxbatons." She said only half lying. Zazuka would keep in touch with all of them but everything was not absolutely wonderful. Not with her soul weeping as it was.

Zazuka watched him as he looked down then up as if there was something on his mind. "Want to walk and talk. I always find that helps clear the mind." She said almost laughing when she said it. She could feel the waives of uneasiness coming from Henry but it wasn't a bad waive. They where funny to her as if she should be pinching Henry's cheeks for them. Again she kept her hands to herself because she knew that it would give off the wrong idea.

Henry smiled when Zazuka said she was making friends, he was happy that the girls in his school weren't so intimidating. "Thats great, I'm so happy you like it here so much" Henry commented. Henry opened his mouth to ask Zazuka his question when she suggested they walk and talk, that sounded like a good idea to him. "Sure" Henry replied with a small gulp. He began walking along the hallway with Zazuka thinking of the next thing he should say, "So umm.... Are you finding everything okay?"Henry asked remembering when they had first met in September Zazuka was having a hard time finding her way around.

Zazuka nodded. "I'm not getting all kinds of turned around if that's what your asking." She said as a light joke. "It's like anything else once you get used to it your feet tell you where to go." She said as brightly as she could. Every time she blinked she could see the image that had reflected from the window. It was hard for Zazuka to keep her cheer but she would have to keep it on her own for long. Soon she hoped Andy would be helping her make her own life better.

Zazuka sighed softly. "Well a lot of girls still don't like me but I've made two other friends besides you. I should introduce them to you and maybe we can all hang out together sometime." She said her smile again not as bright as it could have been but still enough to seem to light her up. She felt bad for using this false kind of light but she didn't know if anyone wanted to hear what she was going through. It was just so trivial.

Henry could tell something was wrong with Zazuka, she seemed to be getting sadder my the minuite. "That would be fun, I'de love to meet your friends" Henry said brightly. Henry continued walking while looking over at Zazuka, "Are you sure everythings okay? You know if somethings bothering you, you can always talk to me" Henry said trying to sound incouraging for Zazuka. For the moment he had set the idea of asking her to the Yule Ball at the back of his mind and was focused on trying to help his friend.

( sorry for the lame posts >.< )

Zazuka put her hand on her cheek and looked away. "Yeah well everything here at Beauxbatons is good. I have a very good feeling that things are not as they should be at home." She said looking down. She didn't want to think about how they where not as they should be because doing so would make her brake down into tears again. She couldn't not in front of a boy, not in front of Henry.

Zazuka had come here to prove that she could look after herself. She hadn't gotten to be champion but she had been one of the few that had been chosen to come here. That had to count for something. She could be as weak as crying over a boy. "Please ignore me an my moods. They usually do this when my third eye is acting up." She said with a soft smile. She was not exactly lying this time. It was because of her powers that she was upset at the moment. If she didn't have them then she could be blissfully unaware of what was happening at Hogwarts.

[It's ok]

Henry frowned at Zazuka's answer, what could beupsetting her so much that was happening back home. Henry stepped infront of Zazuka before wrapping his arms around her in a comforting way, "Well incase you ever want to tell me about it, just know I'm here" He said softly. Henry hated that Zazuka, a girl he had known to be so full of happiness and sunshine was so upset, third eye messing with her or not. This time Henry did not force himself to pull away from her, instead he rested his head on top of hers. Henry was completely confused as to weather or not he should ask Zazuka to Yule Ball now, would it seem insensitive? Merlin girls are so confusuning, how do guys do it? Henry asked himself. Henry was sure that if someone could count all the time guys spent trying to figure out girls the that person would never finish counting.

Zazuka felt the sort of comfort that she would have felt if she were being hugged by Andy or Heidi. So much Zazuka hiccuped and started to cry into Henry's shirt. It hurt so much to know these things when they where about other people because her heart went out to them now to know them about her own boyfriend was nearly killing her. She let out all the sorrow she had thought that she had gotten rid of earlier but apparently she had some still bottled up.

When Zazuka came back up she found that she had left a massive wet spot on Henry's shirt. "Oh I'm so sorry." She said as she held her hands close to her chest. "I'm not usually weepy like this believe me." She said as she ran a hand over her eye hoping to make it look less puffy.

Henry heard a small hiccup and looked down to find Zazuka crying into his shirt. Henry didn't bother to move and let her cry as long as she needed. Henry smiled down at her as she aplogized for getting his shirt wet, "Don't worry about it, I'm glad you can show your true feelings around me" He said softly. Henry pulled his wand out of his back pocket and performed a guick srugify on his shirt. If it had been anyone but Zazuka Henry would have been all over them by now for ruining his clothes. Henry coughed a little akwardling guessing that now would be a good as time of any, "Zazuka, You know there's gunna be a ball on Christmas... I think it could actually be allot of fun... and I was wondering if maybe, possibly you'd like to go with me?" Henry asked his heart almost stopping with nervousness, "You know as friends of course" he added quickly. Almost instantly Henry regreted it. "Okay that was extremely stupid, obviously your upset and don't even wanna be thinking about some stupid dance, forget I said anything, sorry" Henry fired off rather quickly not even noticing he had said it in french.

Zazuka put a hand to her to her lips and let out a soft giggle. She was feeling a bit better even if she had just been a massive weakling in front of Henry. "Thank you for that." She said looking down her cheeks where a little red from embarrassment but that was all. She would have offered to clean his shirt for him with her wand had he gotten upset but Henry didn't seem upset at all.

Then Henry asked her to the ball. As friends of course but still it was nice to see that someone would ask her after the display she had just given. She wrapped Henry up in a hug and smiled brightly. "Oh of course I will go with you Henry. It will be like a fun night out with a bunch of friends. I know Heidi and Zoii are going to be there too and I promise not to ruin everything." She said nearly bouncing on her balls of her feet. She was excited to have a fun night, a normal night.

Henry was a little shocked for a few seconds as Zazuka wrapped her arms around him but soon he got over it and hugged her back. Oh thank Merlin Henry thought holding back a relieved sigh. Henry's smile faltered a little as Zazuka said they could spend the night with her friends but he quickly covered it up, "Sounds like a plan" he replied happily. At least you don't have to worry about her going with any other guy... he told himself. Henry didn't know what he would have done if Zazuka had fallen for any other guy, sure he knew she already had a boyfriend, but you never knew.

Reading Henry's reaction she could guess that he wasn't all that happy about them hanging out with friends. She could also tell that there was something else he was feeling for her. Her eyes never lied to her when she didn't have her glasses on. Not any more anyway. This was why Zazuka wanted them to be in a big group. Even if she did at one point develop feelings for Henry she could never act upon them. Not after messing up so many other people with her visions and everything else. No if things with Brian fall through Zazuka would remain alone forever more. She didn't want to think about that very good possablity so she linked her arm with Henry's and smiled as brightly as she could. "Come on Henry let's head somewhere I suddenly need like a basket full of sweets." She said laughing joyesly. She had a sort of date to the dance and the promise of an ordenery night with ordenery friends. Nothing much could go wrong if there where no powers involved.

Henry wondered for a few seconds if Zazuka had seen through him but soon pushed it out of his mind at the sound of her musical laugh. A real smile graced Henry's face and he began walking arm and arm with Zazuka, "But of course mademoiselle" Henry said with a small laugh. He could go for a few sweets himself seeing as he had skipped dinner in order to catch up on his studies. You need to focus more on your exams and less on girls he had told himself all day. Henry however couldn't help himself, Zazuka was the first girl he had ever liked and the feeling she gave him was magical. Girls had never really been an interest in Henry's life, he liked to think that he was just waiting for the right one to come along.
