Zavier knew it was Brightstone Weekend for Hogwarts, and although he was still supposed to be in the school the boy had snuck into Brightstone, looking around. His big brown eyes glanced into the shop windows, showing his reflection. He gazed into Jambol and Japes, amused at the latest pranking items. Making a move to enter the shop, Zavier saw what he was looking for. "Well hi there," he smiled at the girl, casually tucking a lock of almost-too-long hair behind his ear. "Haven't seen you here before."

((Sorry, he's my first guy character that I've RP'd with.))

Hehe no worries

Libby turned her head from the shop window to see a boy around her own age smiling at her. "Hey." she reflected his smile, "I.. don't normally come into Brightstone." she said truthfully. "I normally spend my holidays at the school." Talking of school, Libby knew she didn't recognise this boy. "Where are you from?" she asked, curious to see if he was from Hogwarts, and just a student she'd missed.
"I'm Libby by the way. Liberty Barnett" she gave him a friendly grin. It was strange to have someone talking to her these days, everyone seemed so lost or busy.

Zavier's smile widened as the girl responded. Normally girls would ignore him, although, Zavier mused, Brightstone weekends were almost like a big family reunion. Although it was one that he regularly intruded on.

"Ah, well. That explains it then!" Zavier laughed. "I'm from Durmstrang, but I'm moving out here once the school year's done." He felt a cool breeze go past, but Zavier was used to weather like this after a few years in Bulgaria. "I'm Zavier Richards. Nice to meet you!" Zavier had no hint of an accent, as he'd grown up in New Zealand. Knowing that the breeze was getting cooler and cooler, the boy frowned. "Are you warm enough? We can go inside...?" He glanced at the display once more. Zavier was used to looking after his sisters in a similar way to this, and besides. He really needed to stock up his Dungbomb supply.

Libby smiled, suprizing herself by being thrilled at the idea he was moving. She'd heard alot about the other schools, but she couldn't help thinking that Hogwarts was still the best. "Um, sure" she smiled again, turning her eyes back to the shop. She'd never been inside this place, and wondered if it was really as interesting as people said it was.

Libby wondered what it was that had made him talk to her in the first place, normally people would just walk on past. Occasionally she would actuall get a friend, but after half a year they could no longer be bothered. Libby honestly couldn't say there was someone right now who would be missing her. She stepped round and into the shop, and stopped almost immedatly after seeing the high stacked shelves of boxes, and the examples on display. woah she thought.

Stepping into the warm shop, Zavier moved straight to one of the displays of pranking objects. "Whoa, check it out!" he laughed, picking up a 'grow your own swamp' kit. "Think my school would care if I unleashed this on them?" Zavier chuckled. He saw how happy the girl was and smiled, it was great to spread the joy of the prankster around. "Pretty big, isn't it. All good quality too, I've never bought a prank that didn't work." Zavier knew he was seeming a little obsessed, but he was torn between the girl and the pranks right now. "So, what year are you then?"

Libby grinned and followed him over to a stand where he showed her a kit to grow your own swamp. She laughed when he asked what his school would think, and remembering he would be moving, wondered if Hogwarts would get pranked in the future. Libby had never been huge on the pranking idea's, but it could be fun for a change. She glanced around, wanting to buy something but not really sure what. She looked up again when he asked her about her year, "I'm a fourth year. Fourth year Hufflepuff" she replied, hoping the fact she was a Hufflepuff wouldn't put him off her, as it had so many others. "You?" she asked back politely.

"I'm fourth year too. I wonder what house I'll get into when I transfer?" Zavier mused. He found himself hoping it was Hufflepuff, much to his surprise. The girl seemed very polite, but maybe she'd be willing to help him out in his next school year. "I might have to save the swamp for Hogwarts. That way you can see it once it's done."

Libby smiled, Zavier obviously had the plan that they would be able to be friends when he moved, which was always a good sign. "Well i hope you get into the one you want." she replied, knowing that should it be Hufflepuff she would be able to help him out more. "I was supposed to be in Slytherin before i was sorted. That's what my mum and brother are in. I was going to go along with someone, who used to be my best friend.." she trailed off. But then she'd been put into Hufflepuff and things had gone a bit different to plan. She grinned again when he said he'd wait, and show the swamp to her later. She hoped that once he was at Hogwarts they'd be able to spend time with each other. It was rare for Libby these days to be able to do that.

Zavier realized that he'd spoken as if they were to be friends and grinned wider, he actually hoped that they could. "Aw, that kinda sucks a bit," he sympathized with her, but figuring that she could probably never be a Slytherin. The girl seemed too nice. He noticed the word used, and wondered if anyting had happened. But Zavier wasn't going to ask now, he didn't want to seem insensitive.

Libby smiled at returned her thoughts to what was in front of her. "So what do you think i should get?" she asked for his opinion. "I want to at least be considered for trying to be a prefect next year, and i also want to get on the proper quidditch team, so whatever i get i don't what it to be able to link back to me." she grinned. She'd always had a prankster part deep inside her, but it had been years since she'd been able to express it. Maybe being friends with Zavier really would hlep her out in mroe ways than one. "What do you like to do?" she asked him, "i mean apart from joking around" she grinned looking back at him.

Zavier wasn't very surprised when she said she wanted to be considered as a prefect, she did seem slightly like a conformist. "Try... this one." Zavier picked up a box of jinxed sweets, smiling smugly. "Bring them out at any party, this one'll make them grow feathers, that one gives them cat ears." Zavier picked up the swamp, he definately wanted this one. "Me? I, uh. Not much, just keep my head down and stay out of trouble." he laughed.
