It had been some time since Henri had been back in Obsidian harbour. He was on a mission at this particular time though, he had somewhere he needed to be and he wanted to make sure he got there as soon as possible. It had taken him some time, but things had sort of fallen into alignment for him. He'd been to all sorts of places in his line of work, met all kinds of people, but he always returned to one place, even when there was no real work need to do so. He just hoped he was able to actually think about it. He was not exactly good at this sort of thing. He could do sexy, he could do charming, he could even do apologetic, but he'd never really been good at sincere. He was always sincere of course, but things often worked against him, making him appear less sincere than he actually was. Still, he hoped that this would go smoothly as he honestly wasn't sure what else he could do if this didn't go the way he hoped.

Heading into St Mungo's Henri looked around to see if he could see Jeremy. He wasn't in reception though so he wakes up to the desk and smiled at the girl. "Could I ask you a favour? Do you know if Jeremy is working today?" he was pretty sure he'd gotten the day right, but he didn't want to intrude on a really busy day either. He'd been away fro a few months, but they'd left on fairly good terms. The girl nodded and smiled and pointed down the hall. He followed her direction and stuck his head into one of the doors. "Hey! Jer! You busy?" he hoped Jeremy would be happy to see him, but he really wasn't sure. After all he had a habit of just picking up and leaving at inopportune times.

Today had been one of those days that had dragged. Jeremy knew that he should be happy about that because it meant no one was injured, and he was, but it also meant that he was going to feel every single one of the hours he had on shift. And now he was on break, an hour where he was forced to do nothing which meant that he'd locked himself in his office with a book he'd purchased at Flourish & Blotts the other day. It was research for something he'd thought about for ages that had been ever present in his mind over the past year. Jeremy still wasn't sure if it was a possibility and he was embarrassed to ask for advice, not wanting to admit to anyone how badly he wanted to be a father. He'd even adopted a puppy recently, thinking it would help but it hadn't. Although he loved the small puppy, it hadn't changed his desire to raise a tiny human, to watch him or her take their first steps and guide them.

Taking another bite of his sandwich, Jeremy was startled when his door was flung open, a head peaking around its corner. In the next second, he was off his chair, crossing the tiny room with a big smile on his face. "Henri!" he called the guy's name. It had been ages since they'd seen each other last, and while not unpleasant in the slightest, it was a huge surprise. "I've got a few minutes before I have to head back. Come in" he waved the guy in, glancing back briefly to make sure he'd tucked his book away. He wasn't quite ready to share that with anyone. "How long have you been in town?" he asked, leaning against his desk. He figured Henri had a modeling gig that had brought him to town and thought it was nice of his friend to stop in for a cha
