Jonah didn’t want to be here. Weeks ago, he’d wanted nothing more than to be home. But now that he was actually here, he wanted nothing more than to leave and never come back. Elijah and Sayuri had brought home more than excellent grades. Elijah had straight Os and Sayuri had Os too except for one E. Even Rose had passed all her classes. Meanwhile Jonah… Jonah was clenching his fist so hard. He failed a class. And almost failed another. He saw his Transfiguration grade - it was only exactly what he needed to get an A and he felt like it was a big fat lie. He’d not managed a single Transfiguration spell. And his written work was atrocious. And then there was his Flying grade. He was arguably the best flier out of the four of them. And yet he barely scraped an E. And so now, here he was, sat across his parents because they wanted to talk to him while he never wanted to do anything less. He hated this. He glared at the table in front of him. He was so tired of being reminded of how utterly dumb and useless he was compared to his siblings.
