For some reason when Henry had woken up that morning he had just been extremely hyper active. He could barely do his hair or apply his concealer with his hands being so twitchy. His professors had been extremely annoyed with him all throughout his classes with his constant figiditing and he had almost been thrown out more then once that day. Finally when class was over Henry gave a sigh of relief and ran for the doors almost forgetting his things behind. After he went to drop off his books in the dorm Henry headed strait for the lawn. Maybe Zazuka would be out? Maybe he would meet someone new? All Henry knew that what ever happened, it would be quite an interesting day.

School had been so ridiculously boring that day that Gustav was retreating to the furthest corners of the lawn in order to escape the monotony. It wasn't as if he expected there to be anything decent to do on the wide expanses of the grounds as compared to the classroom, but he was less likely to fall asleep to the sound of a droning teacher; scratch that, he would probably still fall asleep. Then he would rather do so in moderate comfort. Contrary to his impeccably groomed appearance and pale features, Gustav preferred the outdoors. It represented some sort of personal freedom and, though he would never admit it, better opportunities for escape. He was a paranoid sort of person who preferred an exit to be in sight at all times.

Skipping classes weren't exactly a favourable occupation for him in his fifth year, but it occurred to Gustav that he might literally die if he spent another moment listening to tails of goblin riots and other pointlessly tedious topics. Slinking out of one of the side doors, he was immediately reawakened and cheered by the rush of cool air that greeted him. A second rush of air just moments after the first turned out to be entirely less welcome. Unknowingly, he had stepped into the path of another boy's escape and was almost bowled over by his enthusiasm to leave. Gustav would have fallen if he hadn't caught the older student by the shoulders and halted their flight. However, he did not release him immediately. Narrowing his eyes, Gustav scowled at him. "I say, be careful, will you?" he said, having the gall to look offended before letting go of his shoulders and steadying himself.

Henry was rather enjoying himself when out of no where someone grabbed his shoulders. Henry turned around and his eye's widened a little as he saw a very scary look on a younger boys face, "I-I'm sorry" Henry said, he honestly hadn't meant to knock him over. Henry however didn't focus on it long before he noticed how cute the boy was, "I'm Henry, whats your name?" he asked looking the boy up and down. Oh this should be fun Henry thought trying not to giggle. Henry thought of the possible outcomes his idea for fun could bring he would either get beat up, make this boy very uncomfortable, or end up running away from an actual gay boy.

The other boy didn't seem to have anywhere to be, for after Gustav had spoken so harshly he had still stuck around. He even went so far as to ask his name, and despite himself he was taken aback by Henry's enthusiasm. Gustav had thought they were in the same grade for a moment, but looking closer he did not recognise his peer at all. Nevertheless, he reproached himself for being so rude since Henry hadn't meant any harm, and it was with caution that he replied "Gustav." He paused before adding "You're not a fifth year, are you ... ". It hadn't been a question since he assumed he already knew the answer, but it was polite to ask anyway.

Feeling Henry's eyes on him, Gustav slouched to the side slightly and folded his arms haughtily. "Can I help you at all?". Geez, some people just couldn't help themselves could they? Henry looked as if he was trying to hold back a laugh and Gustav smirked at him. What a strange person, he thought. Well, there was no one else to talk to out on the lawns so they might as well hang out while his lesson ended. Suddenly patrolling footsteps sounded in the hall behind them. "Sh!t," muttered Gustav, giving Henry a light push in the direction of the lawn. "I am not meant to be here. Come on!" Gripping his hand firmly, Gustav dragged them out of the Professor's line of sight just as they passed through the open door. Not point getting this boy in trouble, too. He ran a little way till they rounded a corner and stopped, pressing himself against the side of the building and releasing Henry's hand instantly. "My bad," said Gustav, going a little pink with embarrassment. It was now obvious that he was skipping a class.

Henry nodded when the boy said his name was Gustav, definatly not in Henry's year. Although the fact was backed up when Gustav asked him if he wasn't in his fith year, "No sixith" Henry replied to the younger boy. Henry was just about to make small talk when out of no where Gustav swore and drug Henry out onto the lawn and behind the school. Henry tried to catch his breath a little, wondering what the hell had just happened. Henry looked over to the younger boy who was turning a very cute shade of pink, "So skipping class are you?" Henry asked with a raised eye brow. Henry crossed his arms and shook his head like he was disapointed, "Tsk tsk"he added for extra affect. For all Gustav could have know, Henry could be a prefect. Henry how ever was not much of an actor and couldn't keep his shrade on for long, "You know I've always liked rebels" Henry said with a small smirk towards Gustav.

Henry was apparently in a grade higher than him, which threw Gustav off since he looked so young. He himself was quite tall and, he was sure, had a good inch over the other boy. He felt slightly guilty for cutting Henry off and forcing him to run, but he would have ended up looking like a right idiot if he had been dragged by the ear back to the classroom. He had never gotten caught at it before because generally he skipped class alone, and having someone with him made things a little trickier. Luckily, Henry had not protested while they were running and Gustav liked him for that; he caught on quickly. Unfortunately it didn't make him exempt from chiding. He went even redder when the older boy 'tsk'd at him and simply sniffed derisively in response. "Pft. I do it all the time. Besides, it's a win - win. The Professors have one less student to not care about what they're saying and I get a free lesson to work on the subjects I actually care about." explained Gustav with a shrug. Nevertheless, his blush did not fade.

If he had been pink before, he was positively beetroot red at Henry's next comment. However, social suavity kicked in and he grinned in return. "And you shouldn't be encouraging me." said Gustav, folding his arms and smirking in return. He had no idea what sort of game Henry was playing but he was determined to keep up. He liked the other boy's smile and the suppressed energy he seemed to have.

Henry didn't really understand why the boy seemed to think that the teachers didn't care about him. Sure they had allot of students to look after, but Henry liked to think it was part of there job to at least care a little about what the students did in their lives. Henry let out another giggle at the shade of Gustav's face, he looked like he would spontaneously combust any second. "Well what if I don't follow the rules either" Henry replied softly before crossing his arms and leaning on the clean white walls of the school.

( noobish -.-' )

It suddenly occurred to Gustav that the other boy was flirting with him, and it took him another moment again to realise that he was flirting back. He wasn't entirely fine with this, but nor was he outwardly preventing its happening. Gustav was not gay; he was just messing around. As long as they didn't start getting too stupid or serious with it, and nobody caught them at it, it wouldn't do any harm. Besides, he liked Henry. He was funny and carefree, unlike himself who was not the former. Quirking an eyebrow at Henry, Gustav tilted his head to the side and smiled. "Well aren't we bad. I guess we'll have to be bad together," he said, a mischievous look sliding onto his face. "And despite what they say, two wrongs can make a right, you know." Well, perhaps they could have a little more fun. Good company was good company.

Since he was out of immediate danger from detention, Gustav moved out of shadow of the school and into the sunshine. He turned to smile at Henry and indicated for him to join him on the grass, where he promptly sat himself down splay-legged and uncaring in a clover patch. Gustav leaned back casually and gave Henry a few looks when he hoped the other boy wasn't paying attention; scoping out his body and being secretly rather pleased with what he found.

Gustav's next words shocked Henry a little, although he didn't show it. What shocked Henry more was that he was perfectly fine with flirting with this boy, he really enjoyed it actually, and he was much better at flirting with this boy then any girl. Henry pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind and went to go sit on the grass next to Gustav.

"Yes, we must be bad together" Henry said his eyes looking deeply into Gustav's, as if he was searching for something. Henry couldn't help but noticed how handsome Gustav actually was. Henry even came to the conclusion that if he was a girl he wouldn't mind perusing a relationship with him. "So Gustav tell me about yourself" Henry said laying back into the grass. He was glad for a rare dry day in the French winters that were usually filled with rain. Henry watched as a lady bug flied around the two boys finally landing on Henry. Henry looked down at the little red and black beetle fighting of the urge to swat it away. Henry didn't mind bugs so long as they didn't touch him, but he really didn't want to look like an entire wimp.

Gustav met Henry's gaze as the other started into his eyes. A little smirk played on his lips; the other kid was just too adorable. He just wanted to reach over and- 'Tell me about yourself' said Henry. Gustav blinked and dragged himself out of his reverie to actually pay attention and reply. What on earth had he been thinking about doing, anyway? Gustav convinced himself he was just going to lean in slightly to brush his hair back, but it even sounded like a lie in his own head. He dismissed it, secretly embarrassed with himself. It wasn't right to think like that about another boy if he wasn't gay, and especially if he'd just met Henry. Awkwaaaard. thought Gustav. "What's to say?" he grinned, noticing the little twitch the other boy gave as he noticed a lady bug on him. He reached out and pressed his finger against Henry's arm so that the beetle could climb on, pulling away the blowing the beetle into the wind again. "I'm sixteen, bored, and looking for a bit of action."

Well, that came off slightly seedy, but he was a seedy guy; everyone knew that. Gustav would never admit it, but he really wasn't as off as he pretended to be. Mostly just lonely and trying to get a rise out of people. "I don't know about you, but I'm so ready to leave this joint." he said, watching as the lady bug returned to land on his own knee now. He cast a sidelong glance and Henry and gave him a cheeky look. "You know. Get out into the world ... mess around a bit."

Henry could tell Gustav was thinking about something when Henry interrupted him. Now the question was, would Henry have stopped him? Oh of course you would! Henry told himself. Your not gay, you just met this boy, and you love Zazuka! He added. Henry smiled for a second, he had never admitted it to himself, but he was right, he loved Zazuka Bones. Henry was dragged out of his thoughts when he felt Gustav touch him, to take the lady bug of course. Henry felt his body relax once the beetle was off his person Smooth Dunstan Henry thought with a small eye roll. Henry laughed a little at Gustav's answer, it was a very typical sixteen year old boy answer. Henry however completely disagreed with the younger boys next statement. How could anyone want to leave this school? "Really? I'm completely terrified about graduating. This school has been my home for six years and I'm not really sure I'm ready to leave its comfort" Henry said looking up at the castle. Henry wasn't even sure what he was going to do once he graduated, he had an idea, but make-up artist isn't really a career for a wizard is it?
