Hunting for Badgers

Out of all the houses, Hufflepuff was the only one Rose Holland didn't have a sister in. That would have been very helpful now, as she was on the hunt for an older Hufflepuff boy. She finally waited around in the fourth floor corridor for any Hufflepuffs to pass. Once some did, she asked them to look for the boy in the common room. She tapped her foot impatiently as she waited, hoping Xavier Jeffreys was indeed here. If not, she would have to keep looking.

Xavier had not even realized rose deliveries were underway, let alone expected to receive one. But he had when he was digging around in the wild patch earlier, and headed immediately to his dorm to place it there for safe keeping as he continued his day. As he descended from his dorm, a younger student told him someone was waiting for him in the corridor so he quickly headed out of the common room in search of them. The first person he saw was a girl younger than him, and since there was not many other students loitering around he assumed this was the person he was looking for. "Were you asking for a Xavier Jeffreys?" He questioned. Hopefully this was the girl that asked for him and he would not need to look elsewhere.​

Rose felt relieved when a boy walked up to her and asked f she was asking for Xavier Jeffreys. Eagerly, she nodded. "Yes! I am! I have a rose for him." She said happily. "Do you know him? Do you know where he is?" She asked eagerly, looking around as if he would pop up any moment now.
