Whilst Chase had hoped that his team winning the championship had made him feel some sort of redemption for how terrible he had played last year it didn't. He, by far, had not been the reason they had won their games. Had hardly hit anyone at all. Perhaps it was all a sign that this wasn't for him. That he wasn't cut out to be a captain. Or a beater even. Maybe this was the world telling him he should just give up on quidditch altogether. These were the thoughts that ran through his head but he wouldn't voice to anyone. Not right not at least. No, he had other things to tend to at the moment. Like making his team feel appreciated for the work they had put in. Celebrate them and their winning the championship. Deciding he wasn't the one to decide who could and couldn't celebrate it with them Chase had decided to move his party a few doors down from the common room and settle in the student lounge instead. He'd made sure to put up some black and yellow themed decorations as well as a banner that clearly stated Hufflepuff had won the cup. In addition, he'd worked a little overtime to get some snacks and drinks (although he hoped people might show up with their own as well) and managed to borrow a magical radio so there'd be some music. After sending out a general notice and a personal message to his teammates he dropped down into a corner of one of the sofas, casually glancing at the door to see if anyone would show up.

Callie was very excited that they had won the quidditch cup. She was so eager and happy to have played even a small role in it. She walked into the student lounge, though wished she could've invited Dante to hang out with her, though she was sure he was commiserating the Slytherin team for their loss. She waved excited at Chase. "Congratulations Chase!" she greeted warmly as she then moved towards the drinks table.

Jonah had no idea how to feel about Quidditch nowadays. It was currently one of those things that he was attending to because he was obligated to. He liked to think he enjoyed Quidditch. Except it was so... fleeting nowadays. Flying didn't feel as freeing as it was before. It felt... It wasn't quite suffocating, no. It just... It didn't feel right. But he still enjoyed Quidditch, he thinks. There was still the rush of scoring, the quaffle making it past the keeper and through the hoops. A surge of pride that wells up within. And then slowly disappears. Replaced by constant questions of Am I not good enough? or screams of I need to be better. He knows he probably shouldn't think that since he'd only played against two keepers. Callie-senpai was a 4th year. And the Slytherin keeper, he was pretty sure, was Hina-nee's friend, so he must be a 5th year. Still, he should probably have scored more than one goal with how much he handled the quaffle, right? Maybe he should have passed more to the others, and they could have scored more that way. Jonah had all these thoughts in his head as he attempted to sneak into the victory party - it was pretty hard to sneak when he was the third one there. He didn't even really feel like partying much, but it seemed rude to the captain if he didn't bother showing up, so here he was. Still, he figured he'd just stay on the sidelines so he, after a shallow bow to greet his captain, slinked off to stand on the side rather awkwardly.

Bailey was on cloud nine as she walked into the Hufflepuff common room after they had won the cup. She had never expected to get onto the pitch let alone be the one who caught the snitch to win Hufflepuff the cup. She was thrilled to see some of her teammates were already in the common room so she went over to join them and hoped to see the party start to pick up so they could really celebrate. "Hey captain, congratulations," She beamed at Chase.
