Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice

Kate made her way down to the quidditch pitch with her broom in hand.Today the hufflepuffs would be practicing for the upcoming match.She would like to have a good chance of winning this year since things hadn't gone well last year.It was early in the morning and the dew was still on the grass of the pitch.The sun was shinning but there was barely any heat in it.Kate had a feeling it would turn out to be a nice day,she was sure as the day progressed the sun would begin to heat up.She got out everything that was needed and waited for everyone to arrive,once they did she addressed them with a smile. "Morning everyone"She said cheerfully "Our first game is approaching and today we will be practicing for it.Everyone will be playing even the alternate"She said "Hades and I will be watching you as we play"She said,they just about made up the team with only one alternate who would have to play keeper for the other hoops so she and Hades would have to watch the team as they played but Hades would be the ref as it would be easier for him to watch the players. "Hades will be the ref while I was try my best to watch you as we play"She said. Her face then got serious as it was time to get down to business"JazzyMae,Jordan and I will be practicing scoring and passing. Ai you will be guarding the south hoops and David you will be guarding the North. There is a snitch flying around so William it is your job to catch it. Mylie,you and Hades will be protecting the team from the bludgers"She said smiling. Once everybody was ready,Kate walked to the center of the pitch.She held her broom between her legs and threw the quaffle up in the air.

JazzyMae watched as the quaffle went up in the air. She quickly flew up and caught it. Her current position as Chaser would be much different for her. She would be much more active in the game then she was last year. JazzyMae flew forward in hopes that she would be able to pass the quaffle to a teammate soon.

It was first Quidditch Practice and Ai hadn't been in the Pitch for so long. Now, she was past of the team and was the keeper, a pretty important position in the team. She listened as Kate had given them the instructions, and Ai sure was glad she had something to do. She grabbed her broom and flew up to the Southern Hoops watching as the other players try to score and her, continue to guard the hoops as her job.

Jordan was excited for his first Practice. He had only evern flown with her two older sisters not with a whole team. He had worked on passing and scoring with them a bit but they managed to convince him to learn a little bit of each position and not focus on just one like he wanted. At least now he fully understood the sport and he hoped to gain a few friends on the tea as well. He listened to the girl Kate explain what they were going to do. Mounting his broom he took off towards the starting location in the air for Chasers. He found it interesting how the two captains shared responsibility so well. When Hades did the referee stuff, Kate talked. When Kate watch Hades had done other things to fill in. Jordan got ready for a pass his way.
