The next name on Lizzie’s list was… at least a little bit familiar. Lizzie didn’t think she had ever met the girl, but the surname was fairly clear, this must be some relative of Evelyn’s. Looking across the Hufflepuff table at lunchtime, Lizzie tried to spot anyone with Evelyn’s features, though she didn’t really trust her judgement enough to be sure. Giving up on guesswork, Lizzie called out down the table. “Emilia Manning? Delivery for Emilia Manning!”

Emilia was eating quietly while reading one of her books. She was a little nervous about today, as she wondered if things would move further with Derek today. She hoped to get a rose from him, and also hoped that he would like the rose he got from her. She glanced at the Slytherin table occasionally, hoping to see him. But then her name was called, and Emilia looked up to see an older girl calling for her. She hesitantly raised her hand, her eyes wide. "That's me..."

Lizzie smiled cheerfully, pleased to have found the girl so quickly. "Valentines delivery for you!" She said happily as she approached, picking the correct rose from her basket. "Fresh from the garden, happy Valentines Day!" She said brightly, handing the rose over to the girl.

Emilia took the rose from the older girl and gave her a nervous smile. "Thank you." She said softly. She recognized her as one of Evelyn's classmates. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too..." She added as she unfolded the note. She smiled as she saw it was from Jacob. He really was a good friend. She had hoped a little bit for a pink one from Derek, but there was a lot of time left in the day.
