Dina Stanley was not in the mood to be around a big group of at present. She wasn't particularly good with crowds and considering it was the first couple of days of the term, she had no friends in her own house yet. The only other person here that she knew was Alexander, the boy she'd met randomly in London. She hadn't even realised that he was a wizard at the time, though she supposed that he thought that same about her too. Still, he was in a different house to her, so they couldn't sit together for meals, she wouldn't feel right. Crowds always made Dina uncomfortable. It wasn't because they were loud or because there was a lot of people, she came from a pretty big, noisy family after all, but it was the distrust and unsureness of groups that always turned her off. She was the kind of person that trusted others easily, she'd never been in a situation where her trust had been irrevocably broken, only tested and so she did not understand the necessity of others to see only the bad. So, despite it being lunch time, Dina was more comfortable on the grounds of Hogwarts, then in the castle itself. If she was hungry later, she might decide to go back in then, but for the meantime, she was quite happy minding her own business by the lake. Her thoughts went to her family and how they were all probably doing their own thing right now. How her father was probably getting help with his work from her eldest brother Cassiel. Cass had graduated the year before and had decided to take up the majority of the work over her father whilst he was still caring for her, but now that she was in school, it wasn't s much of a problem.
Her thoughts were undisturbed until she heard a slight shriek and then turned to catch a glimpse of a figure falling out of a tree and running off towards the lake. Curiosity piqued, Dina immediately gave chase and followed the figure to a small contraption they appeared to be building. It was all completely makeshift and it didn't at all look sea worthy. "What the f*ck are you doing?" She was not exactly the most well spoken person on the planet, but she got her point across fairly well, even if she sounded a little intimidating. Dina shielded her eyes from the sun and got a good look at the thing. Or rather, the supposed boat. "Wait, are those the Gryffindor sheets? What the hell is wrong with you?" He was destroying perfectly good sheets with no purpose. They were probably both going to get into trouble now! She didn't think it would be fair either. She watched him, tilting her head as she surveyed the pile of sticks and sheets. "What is that? Will it even float?"
