Rafael was scouting around the busy passage way of the Harbour, when he felt a sense of needing company becoming intriguing for the man. He was new to New Zealand, and was hoping to come across someone who knew this place well. He didn’t want to feel like a tourist, but he knew his features would set people alarm. He was from Spain so of course he was going to stand out amongst the crowds, with his 6’2 muscular built he would compare himself with a quarter size giant. Thought he continue to stride, interfolding in and out of the crowded walkway. As witches stared overwhelm by the stranger outlook, by now Rafael was used to it by now. He got his sturdiest looks from his father and his long dark curly forelock from his mother Maria. Still it didn’t faze him by the attention he was receiving, unless someone was willing to show him around, he could care less. Though he did ears-drop in a few conversations, it came as a slight amusement when he felt the conversation was about him, the stranger.

Cyndi apparated into the Harbor and sighed. She needed a breather and was glad that even though the Harbor was crowded, she didn't seem to recognize anyone. Right now, she wanted to be alone for a bit. She was pretty surprised to see so many people around considering what had occurred not to long ago to the Head Auror. She couldn't believe that death eaters had killed him and hoped that the Aurors would catch some of them soon. She knew that things weren't totally normal though as many people rushed by speaking in hushed tones to one another as though they were discussing the death.

The young professor had just begun to feel back to normal after her breakup with Val, her now ex-boyfriend. It had been one of the worst experiences of the girl's life, and she knew she had hurt a great guy. So, she was glad to not run into anyone she knew because she knew that one of the first things they would ask would be about her love life and that was definitely not something she wanted to talk about.

As she began to window shop, Cyndi heard a couple of witches beside her talking about some man. She smirked as she overheard what the girls were saying. Turning in the direction they were staring in, Cyndi saw a man much older than she was standing around. Taking in his long locks and his handsome face, a thought crossed Cyndi's mind- Those girls are right. He didn't seem to be with anyone and Cyndi wondered whether he was new to the place, especially considering how crazy everyone was going about him. As Cyndi walked closer to him, she smiled as she looked at him again.

Rafael rolled his eyes when he heard a few comment, look can he possibly a death eater? Sure he did seemed a little drangerous, but how can people judge just by their first impression of him. He shook his head, when his dark bedroom eyes would linger towards one in particular indvidual that grasp his attention, the most. Rafael gave her a smile his charmed all ready at full effect, she didn't seem like she from here. The young woman did look as if she possibly knew his native language. Rafael casually stopped as if he were looking for a unknown street, making it seems as if he needed help.

"Hola. ¿Hay un camino posible que usted puede ayudarme? Soy la clase de perdido, soy nuevo a este país. Soy de España, entonces realmente no sé mi camino alrededor." he hoped she had knew at least a little spanish. Not that Rafeal didn't know english, of course he did. Rafael had attended Drumstrang, that's were he learn the english language from, his friends had taught him will attending.

[Hello. Is there a possible way you can help me? I'm sort of lost, I'm new to this country. I'm from Spain, so I really don't know my way around.]

As the man addressed her, Cyndi's breath caught. Looking up into his face, which was nearly a foot above hers, Cyndi struggled to understand what he had said. It had something to do with being new and lost, that much she was able to gather, but not much else. Cyndi had spent a lot of time traveling to different countries depending on where her father was working, so she had spent a lot of time in Spanish-speaking countries. She also spoke a bit of Romanian, which she had been forced to learn by her mother, so she was able to figure out some of what he was telling her. The fact that the man had just about the most charming accent she had ever heard didn't help either, and Cyndi found it difficult to string together the words to form a response.

"Si...te puedo ajuta" she said and then realized that the last word she had said was the Romanian version of the word. "My Spanish is terrible though so I'm not sure if I'll be much help" she added with a nervous laugh.

[Yes...I can help you]

Rafael felt his smile widen, feeling a little dimwitted. "Oh sorry Miss, I thought you knew Spanish, my English can sometimes fail as well." he stare endlessly at the natural beauty standing before him. Rafael wasn't always one for younger woman, many reasons behind that had to do with his previous relationship. Normally they never really last long, never really reaching a year. He hadn't found a woman that could hold his attention for that long, though his exs end up hating him after he walks off.

"Names Don Rafael." he spoke with a thick accent, holding out his hand to formally introduce himself. "I was actually looking for a place to hang out. I'm not familiar with this area, my cousins the one that lives down here." he continue to smile, fixing his jacket around his torso. Rafael always make sure he looked his best when meeting someone new.

As the man stared at her, Cyndi felt herself blush and looked away, only returning her eyes to his when he introduced himself to her and held out his hand. Putting her hand into his, Cyndi gave it a shake before introducing herself. "I'm Cyndi Weasley" she said with a small smile.

When Rafael explained exactly what he needed help with, Cyndi nodded her head. "I know just the place Rafael" she began, liking the way his name sounded, "You probably should head over to the Leaky Cauldron. I was thinking of heading there myself." Cyndi turned to point to the place, which was all the way at the other end of the harbor.

For a moment, Cyndi wondered whether he was going there to meet someone, and then realized that it was hardly anything she should be concerned about. He is much too old for you Cyndi, she scolded herself silently. Looking away from his face again, Cyndi glanced to the side and saw two witches staring at the two of them and whispering behind their hands. With a roll of her eyes, Cyndi turned her attention back to the tall man. "How are you liking New Zealand so far?" she asked politely.

Rafael lightly shook her hand, still smiling as he stood, his hands now filling his pockets. "Oh that's the leak, strange I never been there. Not even the one in London." even when his cousin had invited him many times, Rafael never did take the offer to browse around the shops, he was just to busy with the ministry in Spain, rarely ever had time for a vacation. With their location being a small agency, he was require endlessly around the clocks. "Cyndi Wesealy? Oh I heard of the family, think I may have met a Weasley long time ago." his accent was thick, however he spoke the words fluently without stumbling at all.

Rafael noticed she was blushing and staring at him, "Course the one I met wasn't as bella as you" Rafael always had the bad habit of using both language when speaking to a woman. He lucky he wasn't talking in Italian, he would sure confused her, though he probably speak it just to flirt with her some more. "So far New Zealand doesn't seems so bad after all." he smiled flirting a lot more now. "Mind accompanying to the leak?" he asked her instantly.

Cyndi nodded, knowing that she had a half dozen uncles, an aunt and a bunch of cousins, not counting others who carried the Weasley name. When he complimented her, Cyndi felt her face burn red again. She chuckled softly, trying to brush off her embarassment, which increased when he told her that New Zealand was good in a way that made her feel as if he were talking about her and not the place. It had been a while since she had been complimented in that way, really ever since she had broken up with Val. It felt good to hear though and she couldn't help but be pleased.

When he asked her to accompany him to the Leaky Cauldron, Cyndi looked up into Rafael's face. He had heartbreaking good looks and Cyndi wondered if she should even bother. Impulsively, Cyndi smiled and replied "That would be great."

As they started to walk, Cyndi wondered if he had been hearing the people in the Harbor talking about him. "You seem pretty popular already Rafael. The girls can't stop talking about you" she said with a smirk. While they walked, Cyndi saw an older witch look at the pair of them and then shake her head dissapprovingly.

Rafael was used to the reaction he always seem to received at his new surroundings. It had been many times, when someone would mistaken him for someone famous, or infamous, either way it never seem to fail him, when they were talking about him that way. "No I think they're looking at you Cyndi." he chuckle his hair dreaded at the side of his face, giving her a alluring smile. "They're saying look at the beautiful woman, with a old ugly man." he joked but ment it, when he called her beautiful. He noticed the old woman disapproving stares, it made him want to react more than just giving her compliments.

So instead of looking at the two young witches who seem to have been wearing the latest fashion, he kept his eyes on Cyndi. They even made attempt to stop and talk to him, but he didn't even notice their fail attempt. His mother Maria had taught him not to be rude, unless the one your conversanting with wasn't worth your time. "As beautifully dressed as you are and even be kind to show me around, I would be jealous if someone else was walking with you." he told Cyndi, his words were truthful as they could be, maybe he would enjoy New Zealand after all he thought.

Cyndi giggled at his compliment and then shook her head. "I certainly wouldn't call you ugly... or old" she said as a smile crossed her face. Handsome, beautiful, completely gorgeous is more like it, she thought to herself. She couldn't believe that despite all of the glances, all of the whispers and everything going on around them, Rafael had not once turned his attention away from her.

With a pointed look at the disapproving old woman, Cyndi snaked her arm into Rafael's so that their arms were linked. The woman's jaw dropped and Cyndi could barely contain a chuckle. "Well, it's my pleasure to show you around" she said in a flirtatious voice as they continued to walk. The young girl knew she should be careful since this man was years older than she was and had probably been with many women, but he seemed to know just the things to say to make her feel good. It was the first time that she had even flirted with a man since breaking up with her ex-boyfriend.

"Will you be in New Zealand for long?" she asked, trying to make the question sound as casual as possible, though she was dying to know the answer. She didn't know what it was about this man, perhaps the compliments that he lavished on her and his attention to her, that made Cyndi hope that he would be around and want to see her.

Rafael suave lips spread quickly when he felt Cyndi arms link with the muscular tone of his own, happy to accompany such a divine beauty at his side. "Este debe ser mi día de suerte. Con una hermosa mujer como tú a mi lado, yo no tendría ningún otro." he said his accent cascade evenly from his lips. He even brought her closer to his torso, as if they know each other for that long. "I probably may stay for a while I need a bit of vacation time on my own." he smiled his eyes gazing from her warm captivating stare.

Everyone kept staring, Rafael noticed that Cyndi loved the attention in some ways. He quickly picked a flower from a nearby flower shop, the owner not minding at all as he place the flower behind Cyndi hair. "Still can't distract me, even if you were holding a dozen roses hermosa." he sly smirk. "You know what? Have you ever gone dancing? Maybe tonight if my little tour guide would like to. Maybe you would like to dance with me?" he asked out of the ordinary. "What do you say bella?" he walk slowly now holding her hand.

[This must be my lucky day. With a woman beautiful like you at my side, I wouldn't need no other. ]

Cyndi smiled as Rafael said something to her in Spanish. She was able to catch a few of the words, especially the fact that he had called her a beautiful woman. When he pulled her closer to him, and told her he would be staying awhile, Cyndi couldn't help but stare into his eyes for a few moments until she realized she was holding her breath and looked away to catch it again.

As he put a flower in her hair, Cyndi realized that she hadn't even realized how far they had walked. They were only steps away from the Leaky Cauldron. Rafael's good looks and sexy accent had proven to be more of a distraction than she had thought. When he asked if she had ever gone dancing and whether she would like to go, Cyndi's breath caught. Is he asking me out? she thought to herself, eyes widening in pleasure.

As his hand slipped into hers, Cyndi felt the warmth from his much larger hand cover her own. Slowly nodding, Cyndi looked up at Rafael, "Dancing sounds like fun." Her mind raced wondering what she was going to wear, how she was going to do her hair and other things. Rafael was clearly a much more experienced man and she knew she would have to dress much differently than she usually did to impress someone like him. "The mall has a dance club unless you'd like to go somewhere else?" she asked, not sure what kind of place he'd like to go to.

[We could continue to rp here or start another in the pub]

Rafael noticed they had arrived by the dim dusky old tarven, it didn't look much on the outside. Rafael didn't care he actually didn't want to go in, like many times before, he may just reject the idea of going in. Her hands laced with his light grip, felt warm against his somewhat rough skin. "Well if your into dancing with little children." he jest with a smirk. "No someone like you has to experience something new. I'm not the only newbie around here." he survey innocently into Cyndi eyes, teasing her just a bit.

Besides he was a grown man, there had to be a place he could take, his lovely new friend out, were its suitable to his taste. "When are you free Cyndi?" he asked still holding onto her soft silky hands. "How bout a weekend? If you don't mind that is..."

[eh...here is fine]

A blush rose on Cyndi's cheeks as his jokes turned more flirtatious. She looked away from his face and then looked back, meeting his eyes again. "I love trying new things" she replied with a half-smile. She had figured he wouldn't like the idea of going to a club. He seemed more sophisticated than that and she could only wonder where he planned on taking her.

Thinking about his question, Cyndi was a bit relieved when he suggested the weekend. "No, not at all" she said perhaps a little too eagerly. "Weekends are good...I'll be free next weekend. I teach over at the school and it lets out for the winter in a few days." She turned to face him wondering if he was planning on going into the Leaky Cauldron. Now that she was here, she didn't really feel like going in. She had only been planning to stop in for a quick drink anyway and she knew she should be returning to the castle soon.

"Oh your a professor? Aren't you a little to young Professor Weasely?" he chuckle delighted. Rafael look up towards the shop entrance, it was his cousin favorite spot to enjoy a hard drink. "Not my kind of place, but I need a drink." he reached out handling the doors wide open, as usual the stares continued. He clearly stood out like a soar thumb, maybe if he cut his hair or something maybe he wouldn't be so acknowledged. "So how is it being a professor, must be a challenge with all those kids?" Rafael never had children or so he thought. His intention to have any was very low, his job was more important than anything in the world right now. Having a child at this point of his life, would just slow him down. The fact that he wasn't yet married could possibly answer all the arguments of not having a child. Maybe one day or something, just right now he wasn't planning to, any time soon. He was already focus he didn't need a distraction at the time being.

Walking towards the bar he order a fresh cold one, and turn his head slightly, "Anything for you Cyndi." his tongue rolling as his thick accent hit the air like a colonge, it just lingers for a while. He pushed a stool aside to sit down for a while, the bar tender already setting his drink aside. Rafael nodded once, than turn back to Cyndi.

"I'm not that young" she said with a giggle as they entered the Leaky Cauldron. People looked up from their drinks and conversation to look at the six feet tall Rafael with the much shorter, younger Cyndi. "It's not so bad. I know most of the older students because I just graduated about a year ago" she said a bit sheepishly. She didn't want to admit how young she was to Rafael because she was afraid he wouldn't be interested if he found out how young she was. "I don't deal with the first and second years, so by the time they got to me, they are a bit calmer."

As they reached the bar, Cyndi lifted herself up onto a stool beside Rafael. She hooked her boots into the legs of the stool and turned to face him, opening her coat up and taking it off. As he ordered and turned to her, Cyndi smiled. She absolutely loved his accent and realized that she could get lost in it. "Um...I'll have the same" she told the bartender.

"So, what do you do for a living?" she asked as their drink arrived. She took a sip, finding the drink refreshing as it made its way down her dry throat. She twirled a piece of her hair as she took another sip.

Oh wow, she was a young one. Its not like he was committing a crime though. He was just out having a drink with a perfectly beautiful stranger. "Yeah sure that's not dealing with kids? That's like drama years if you think about it." Rafael laughed, while he grab for his drink. "I used to go to Drumstrang. Enough said." he chuckle again. His years at Drumstrang were memorial. All the girls he once had, and probably several relationship that didn't last long to even call it a status. Yes, Rafael was the typical heart-throb in the little group of friends he associated with, but he had his little moments when he developed some sort of feelings for girls. He just never care to expressed them out loud.

"Oh I work for the firm ministry in Spain. Head of the superior security there. Its not as big as the one here, which is why I rarely take vacation." he smiled at Cyndi. "I envy professor like you, all those vacation." he laughed. "Must be great?"

Cyndi laughed with him as he called them the drama years. Thinking back to her own experiences from her third year on, she realized he was exactly right. Those years had been some of the most drama filled in her life. When he told her that he had attended Durmstrang, Cyndi's eyebrow raised in interest. He certainly looked the part of an ex-Durmstrang student. Are all the Durmy guys hot? she thought to herself taking another sip of her drink.

She listened as he talked about his own job. "Security? Yea, you're definitely big enough" Cyndi said and then turned bright red, not meaning to say that out loud. Looking away for a second to hide her embarassment, Cyndi finally turned back, realizing he had just asked her how much she loved her vacations. "Yea. I love them. Two whole months of no duties. I can do whatever I want" she answered with an excited smile, her cheeks still red from blushing.

Rafael smirked, yes definitely big. He was smart enough not to say that out loud though, he kept his charming smile across his full thick lips. "Ah you see that's no fair." he teased as if he were a young guy in his adolescent days. "You could do anything you want, while I'm stuck in Spain. All alone." his light dimple cheeks appear from smiling to much. "You ever travel before?" he wonder if she knew anything of his country. "You should visit Spain one day, sheer beautiful." he said kissing his thumb and index finger towards the air. "Magnifico" he said in his Italian accent. "Oh Italy too you would love it there." he chuckle forgetting he had lived there for a couple years besides Romania in Drumstrand and of course Spain. Rafael picked up his drink and downs half it, already on the move to order another beverage. Rafael doesn't get wasted that easily, it would take a lot of cold ones to actually get him tipsy. "Care for another one?" he asked Cyndi already nudging the keeper for his company.

Cyndi laughed as he teased her. It was pretty amusing. When he asked if she ever traveled before, Cyndi rolled her eyes but then put a smile back on her face. "When I was younger, I was never in the same country for more than a year or two, but I've never been to Spain." She couldn't believe how many places Rafael had been to as well. "Well, maybe you can be my guide if I ever go to Spain or Italy" she said in a flirty voice as picked up his drink. When he asked if she wanted another drink, Cyndi shook her head. "No. It's ok" she said, holding hers up so he could see how full it still was. She lifted the drink to her lips and took and drank.

Taking a look at the time, Cyndi realized that she had to be getting back soon. Standing up, Cyndi reached into her bag to look for piece of parchment and her quill. She sort of wished she were still sitting because from their positions, Rafael still towered over her even though he was still sitting down. Once she found some, she quickly jotted down her address and then reached over to put it in Rafael's hand. She felt herself grow warmer as she held his hand and spoke. "If you were serious about that dancing date, send me an owl" she smirked as she finished.

Rafael nodded, "Yes of course, thank you for being my tour guide." he grin. Taking the piece of parchment within his hand, as he let slip within his pockets. Before she departed, he gripped her hand slightly, pressed it against the back of his lips and smiled. "Take care mujer bella.." he meant every word, than let go. He too needed to leave, back to his cousin home as well. After the wedding ceremony, he was going to stay for a couple days, than head back to Spain. He still had some unfinished business to handle, well according to Penelope Paradox.
