Desislav Zhefarovich was having an amazing Christmas. He'd received the new broom that he'd been asking for all year and some new toys. Someone had even bought him a Fanged Frisbee, though he'd already gotten it stuck on the ceiling fan in his room. It wasn't too big of a deal. He knew that the family house elf, Estel, would get it down for him by the time he returned to his room later. Desi loved the holidays. It was when the whole family got together, even LeAnn who lived all the way in the United States.

Running into one of the guest rooms, the Gryffindor stopped and his head scanned the room looking for a spot to hide. Eyes widening as he discovered a spot, Desi ran for it. He jumped in and pulled the lid down just as he heard his brother holler the familiar 'Ready or Not' refrain. Covering his mouth with his hands, Desislav struggled not to laugh out loud as he heard his brother roaming the house. Desi was prone to laughing whenever he was hiding, but he was trying really hard not to. He had found a really good spot this time and was trying not to give it away. Through the empty clothes hamper, Desi would be able to see when Marius entered the room. He'd purposely left the door open to the guest room he was in so that he could hear Marius once he found their sisters. There was no way he'd be the first one captured this time. No way.

Marius Zhefarovich was not too sure what the whole deal was when it came down to Christmas. He, like his father's family, did not see the point in giving gifts on one holiday. Marius did receive something he always wanted though. He got a nice broom, which would help him in case he wanted to get on the Quidditch team. He wanted to play but it seemed that Gryffindor did not need another beater or chaser. Something like that was high action and he loved some action. Marius currently played hide and seek with his brother, and he was the seeker. Normally, he was a champion seeker. However, today, he might be having a bad day as he wondered through the halls, and could not seem to find Desislav, Bisera or Fantine anywhere! He would not stand for asking for help. Letting out a sigh, he walked into the guest room.

The room he had no idea his brother was at. He got down on his hands and knees to peer under the bed, and to his surprise, no one was there. This was taking too long. As soon as he stood back up, the one person he found was so surprising, Marius stumbled and fell back on his bottom. Of course, he would not hear this person come in. They did not have footsteps. Marius uttered in surprise, “Dad?” He was used to seeing his dad in ghost form, but he was usually known for giving out warnings before he visited. Marius wondered which wall he floated through. “Hey, have you seen my siblings? They are hiding everywhere!”

Arnost Zhefarovich was enjoying his life. Or perhaps, his afterlife. He spent hours and hours with his loving mother and his wife, or girlfriend... He had no idea what they were right now, since death parted both of them. They were together though. Arnost decided to pay a surprise visit to his quadruplets, and after telling Axelle what he was doing, he made his way over there. He could visit his children anyway he pleased. It was definitely a good thing. However, Vixen was starting to get into things that made him weary of how she was going to turn out. The rest seem normal. Well, the quads were not pureblood, but Arnost was known to produce other than purebloods. Aleyha was one, and Apostol before his death. The rest were alive, and he was relieved at that. He needed his children because he would have nothing left besides his brother.

Floating through the house while cleverly dodging Evette and her husband, Arnost made his way through the holiday cheer. Christmas was something commonly not celebrated in the Zhefarovich family. Arnost was no different. However, he asked his brother, Vladislav, to send his children some gifts. It was the least he could do when he was dead. No hugs, nothing like that. If he were alive, he would have fought for custody over all his children. That was not the case. Arnost finally found one of his kids. Apparently, his surprise arrival shocked Marius off his feet. Folding his arms across his chest, he raised an eyebrow. “No. I just arrived.” His Bulgarian accent laced over his words delicately.

Desislav was already seated with his hands across his mouth, clapped one over the other. He tightened his grip, laughter threatening to escape him as he watched his brother check all the place in the guest room. He'd hidden under the bed last time. Even he wasn't dumb enough to repeat a hiding spot that quickly. It was when his brother fell over that Desi couldn't stop himself. A chuckle escaped him, but his brother seemed too distracted to hear him. When he heard what had distracted his twin, Desi peeked from his hiding spot. If Marius was just tricking him, he was going to kill him.

As soon as Desi's eyes cleared the hamper, he saw that it wasn't a trick of his brother's. His dad was really there! Desi nearly tripped over himself in his effort to get out of the hamper quickly. "Dad!" he yelled out as he jogged over, stopping just short of the ghostly figure. He'd passed through the man once before, and it was an odd feeling. He wasn't in a rush to do that again. "You're here! No one said you were coming today!" Desi was completely surprised and pleased. He liked when his dad came around...most of the time. Sometimes, his dad came around when he was in trouble and those weren't fun times. "Happy Christmas, sir" he added in a much more calm tone.

Marius frowned when he heard his father say that he had not seen the other siblings. He folded his arms across his chest, and wanted to blow a raspberry, but then remembered what sort of man Arnost was. He was his father, and though Arnost couldn't spank them, he could be pretty scary from time to time. However, it seemed the arrival of Arnost brought out Desislav, before Marius immediately said, "Ha! Found you!" Well, sort of. Desi brought himself out to ensure that he was telling the truth about Arnost coming back. He looked from his brother, and toward his ghostly father. After all, it wasn't every day they could see him.

"Yeah, happy Christmas, bashta! I said that right, right?" Marius asked, wondering if he used the title of father correctly. Although he was sure that he butchered that word, but he was dying to know his father's native tongue. He was really interested to get involved with that family, despite some of them not wanting to know him and his siblings. "How's everyone in Bulgaria? Are you doing okay? Is Axelle adapting to the ghost world too?" Marius was asking a lot of questions, but he did not care. He wanted to hear all about the world that Arnost lived in, when he was alive and when he was dead. Actually, he had not heard how his father died... He wanted to know.

Arnost looked to the side when he heard his other son call out for him. Arnost smiled gently before his gaze locked on Desislav. His daughters were not around here, for some reason, but if he could get some quality time with his boys that definitely had some good looks, then he would definitely go with it. He did not want to call them half-breeds like some of his other family members, despite being what they were. He would adore them no matter what. Arnost looked down when Marius said that he found Desislav. "Actually, that isn't true and you know it." Arnost shook his head, knowing that Marius was similar to him. Arnost really adored that, and knew that Evette and Andrew had their hands full.

"Happy...Christmas," replied Arnost, despite not celebrating that holiday. He never did. His family was rather against it. He never saw the point in most holidays. He would not be stuck up and not say it. However, Marius started to bombard him with questions. Arnost folded his arms across his chest, and he held his hand up, "So many questions. The Zhefarovich family is functioning, now that Asparuh seems to be home for good. Kalif lost his daughter, so you won't see him for your second term, I believe. Axelle is doing just fine." Arnost spoke of Kalif softly, knowing that the news should be only within the family. Not for the ears of the Belo family.
