Skye looked forward to the Halloween feast every year, it was her favourite time of year and her favourite holiday. Skye had taken extra effort with her costume that year, she had someone she wanted to impress after all and from everything she knew about Willow she knew that the Ravenclaw would be dressed to impress at the Halloween feast, the question was, who was she impressing. The Gryffindor straightened out her costume before applying the finishing touches and putting on her cat ears. Skye gave herself a spin in front of the mirror before she left the dorm and made her way down to the Great hall.

The Great hall was abuzz with students when Skye walked in, she took a few minutes to look round and admire the different costumes. There were some that particularly caught Skye's eye but she didn't let her mind wonder too much as she made her way through the crowd to look for familiar faces. The smell of pumpkin pie filled her nostrels and made her smile as she licked her lips. Skye grabbed a goblet of pumpkin juice and took a sip while she weaved through the crowd. She didn't really know who or what she was looking for but she knew she hadn't found it yet.

Tight fitting clothing was not always the smartest idea, but that didn't mean that it wasn't the best. Leather was a notoriously hard material to work with and getting the sizing even a millimetre wrong you would have a problem. Fortunately for Willow, she was a witch and so if she had a problem, she either enlarged it or cut it out. Her problems were solved before they even began. Currently she was putting the finishing touches to her costume by adding a couple of extra belts. You could never have enough belts as far as she was concerned. In fact, the ext a belts added depth to the character she thought and gave her more placed to hang her fake weapons. The students all carried around wands, she was sure they could be real and no-one would care. There weren't many muggle items she could use that magic couldn't defend against. So with the last piece being position, her goggles, Willow finished her makeup and finally headed out of the Ravenclaw tower and down towards the Great Hall. Halloween was one of her favourite holidays and she would always celebrate it, no matter where she was.

As Willow reached the Great Hall she stopped to take in her surroundings. A couple of the students were loitering around the doors and she quickly utilised her prefect status to usher them inside. She couldn't have them blocking the way after all. Everyone wanted to get inside, she understood that at least. Smiling to herself as she absently toyed with one of her fake knives, Willow soon caught sight of a cat. A rather attractive cat at that. She briefly looked around for Rhiannon, but was unable to see her and so trained her eyes back to the cat. She quietly snuck up to the cat and whilst the girl was ducking and weaving, Willow brought out one of her blades and held it carefully to Skye's neck. "Got you now you little Minx." She grinned at her as she walked around to look at her before replacing the knife on her belt. "I look hot. You do too, but me first." She grinned.

Skye wasn't expecting much from the Halloween feast, despite being at the school for years she didn't have the largest group of friends. She mostly spoke to her team mates on the Quidditch team and whoever she came across in the common room so she wasn't sure who she was looking out for as she weaved her way around the Great hall, it was almost as if she was dancing which must have been some sight in her cat outfit. Out of no where she felt a plastic knife come up to her neck from behind her. Skye smiled knowing it was someone playing around with her, she knew who it was by the voice that came next and the fact she called her minx. It was Willow. Skye's slight smile had turned into a full blown grin as she manovered herself into view in front of her and her jaw nearly hit the floor when she saw what the Ravenclaw was wearing. She knew Willow was no stranger to tight fitting clothes and that was one of the things that made her so visually appealing.

Willow put the knife back on her belt and bragged to Skye about how hot she looked, Skye's cheeks burned as bright as her hair as she nodded slowly. "You err, you look really hot, like wow," Skye's mouth suddenly felt a bit dry. Her hand instinctively reached out to touch her leather outfit, her hand grazing against her stomach.

Willow curtsied and turned around slowly for Skye to see all of her costume as she was complimented. "You like?" She asked, holding her toy gun against her arm and striking a pose. She grinned as Skype suddenly reached a hand out to touch the leather. She left it for a second before smacking her hand away gently and moving her finger in a gesture of no. "Uhuhah, you can look, but no touching." She said, slamming her gun back into her left hand. Skye's costume was impressive, if basic, and Willow had to wonder who she might have been dressing up for. She had a slight suspicion that it may have been for her, but she didn't know for sure. After all, Skye and she were not dating and had no illusions of grander things where their relationship was concerned. Willow really liked Skye, but she was still kind of hung up on Rhiannon and didn't think it would be fair to try and start anything with Skye whilst she was still feeling this way. Skye knew none of this, but they'd never made this exclusive.

"I feel like dancing, you wanna dance?" Willow asked, holding her hand out to Skye. Willow wasn't a particularly good dancer and she'd learnt to dance in a way that allowed her to watch everyone else as well. She was still a prefect after all and had to make sure that nothing was going wrong. Having an accident in the middle of a Halloween party was not exactly something she would be looking forward to after all. Suddenly one of her favourite songs came on and she beamed and looked back at Skye. "Come on Skye! This is one of the good ones!"

It took everything Skye had to keep her tongue in her mouth when Willow turned and showed off her costume to her. She visibly pouted when Willow smacked away her hand and told her she could look but not touch. And look she would. Willow never disappointed with the way she dressed, but Skye needed to pull herself together. Skye had a lot of fun with Willow, she didn't really know what the two were, with no discussion taking place Skye was going on the assumption that were having fun with each other but they weren't exclusive. That worked just fine for Skye, she didn't want to be tied down at her age. Of course she would struggle to have fun with anyone if she just stood and drooled over Willow, that had to stop, no matter how easy it was to do.

Willow's eyes lit up when the song changed and suddenly she was up and wanting to dance, Skye grinned as she practically begged Skye to get up and dance with her. "Come on hot stuff lets show these kids how its done," Skye smiled and dragged Willow by the hand over to the dancing masses.

Willow loved to tease Skye and it was made all the more fun by the way she acted when she did so. The differences between her pleasure at being around Skye and her deep like of Rhiannon were many, but, in some ways, they were miniscule. She enjoyed the differences immensely and was having fun trying to find them all. The biggest difference for her though, was the fact that Skye was fully aware of her feelings, whilst Rhiannon continued to be in the dark. Willow had tried everything short of actually saying the words, but she also knew that the reasons that Rhiannon hadn't picked up on them was because she didn't feel the same way. It upset Willow, but it was one of the reasons why she hadn't said anything, after all, she didn't want to risk ruining a friendship for the sake of a romance that would probably never happen. Then there's the question of whether it would even last. The odds were directly against them and if there was one thing Willow understood these days it was that the odds were usually right.

She laughed loudly at Skye's choice of vocabulary as she allowed herself to be led onto the dance floor. "Are you sixty? No one talks like that anymore." She said, laughing openly as she placed her gun in the holster and took Skye's hands. Dancing was fun, but it wasn't something that Willow was good at especially. Only if they were dancing close. Grinding she could do, but was likely inappropriate for a Halloween party with children.

Willow liked to tease Skye and if she was honest Skye liked to be teased by Willow. She tried to give back what she could but a lot of the time everything Willow said to her drove her imagination so wild that she couldn't keep her thoughts straight long enough to form any sort of come back. It was no wonder Willow thought she was talking like a grandma, Willow was strutting around her in a tight leather outfit leaving nothing to the imagination. It was a wonder Skye could remember her own name let alone string an age appropriate sentence together. Skye was glad when Willow took her hand and Skye dragged the sexy Ravenclaw out onto the dance floor. She didn't seem all that comfortable dancing but then again she suspected how Willow usually danced wasn't appropriate for a room full of kids. Which was a shame, Skye very much wanted to see it, and to be a part of it.

"Do I look sixty? Maybe I chose the wrong costume," She giggled as she ran her hands through the ruffles of her skirt. "It's not my fault I'm talking like my grandma, I can barely think straight looking at you in that outfit," Skye stuck her tongue out as she began to move around the dance floor a little although not really able to get into much of a groove.
