Open After. Yellow rose for @October Alcott
It had taken some exploring, but Vader had finally found himself in front of the head people's common room, one of the few places that only the head people could get into. He had asked around and no one had seemed to know where the head girl was, so he had saught out this room, if not here he would head to the Heta Omega room. Vader knocked loudly on the door, rubbing his eyes lightly, hoping that he didn't look too tired in front of the head girl. The gryffindor touched the camera strapped around neck, looking to the ground in front of him, he would have to wait maybe a few moments before he left. He hoped he would find her here, the heta omega room made him far more nervous.

October dreaded the rose deliveries. She had been trying to put them out of her mind all week, but it was no longer avoidable. The entire school had seen her humiliated on the Quidditch pitch, and she had no desire for anyone to find her today. Not that she was likely to be getting any roses today. At this point, all October wanted was to keep her head down and have as little to do with her classmates as possible before finally graduating and being free of all the embarrassment and loneliness that had underscored her time at Hogwarts. So she was hiding away in the Prefects common room, where the people who could actually find her were limited, and hoping to just get through the day studying quietly. That hope was dashed when October heard a knock on the door and winced, setting her quill down and getting up. She tried not to let her disappointment show when she opened the door to what was clearly a rose delivery. "Who are you looking for? I'm the only person here." She said quickly, hoping the boy would be on his way quickly.

Vader looked at who opened the door, relieved that it had been opened by the exact person he was looking for, "Well, for you," the boy replied quickly, thinking that the girl didn't seem too happy. He reached into his basket and pulled out a rose and the accompanying note, "I have a rose and note for you," the accio editor said with a nervous tone, only holding her gaze a little as he held out the items to her. He hoped that the note would make her feel better, he wasn't sure it would be a good idea to ask her for a picture.

October,

You are an awesome captain. Thanks for guiding the team.

Alexis

October had been fully prepared to give the boy directions to where she thought any of the other prefects were, so he could be on his way quickly and find the person he was looking for, but to her surprise, the rose was intended for her. "Oh..." October said softly, a bit surprised. She hadn't expected to get anything today, but maybe April had sent her a rose. "Thank you..." She opened the door a bit wider and accepted the rose, holding it gently as she opened the note. The note wasn't from April as October had expected though, and her heart plummeted into her stomach as she read it. There was no doubt Alexis must have written this before their last disasterous match, as there was no chance anyone would be calling her an awesome captain now. An awesome captain wouldn't have let Alexis get hurt in that match, or anyone else for that matter. An awesome captain would have caught the snitch first, an awesome captain would have kept her team safe. A fresh wave of humiliation washed over October and she crumpled the note up, taking a swift step back away from the boy who had brought it to her. "Um... thank you. I have to..." October trailed off quietly, moving to close the door. She definitely didn't want anyone seeing her right now.

Vader was a little surprised by the head girl's reaction to the rose and then the note. He watched half curious and half unwilling to meet her gaze as he looked down at the ground between them as she reacted. He stifled a little yawn as waiting to see if there would be a good opportunity for him to ask to take a picture, but she appeared to crumple the note and take a step back. Vader met her gaze and frowned a little, his fingers touched the camera lightly, she didn't like the note and probably wouldn't want her picture taken with it. "Okay," he replied, shifting his weight awkwardly between his feet unsure of what to do next. If to just ask or let her close the door.
