Eleona cringed a bit as she held the note she had written back to her father. She took it out of its envelope once more to check it for proper spelling and grammar, like he had always encouraged, and that she didn't say anything insulting.

I promised I would write you when I arrived, but with classes and such, I haven't gotten the chance. Things here have gotten quite interesting latley, and I am sure that Mr. Nagasaki has informed you of the break of engagement. I'm sorry if this dissapoints you, but I can't stand Kai. On a brighter note, how is everything back home? How's Emilie? And how about little brother?
