Damien stood at the train station. He knew he was early but Angela was coming home today and he was worried. She was, less receptive to his way of parenting and life in general than her cousin was. He would've asked Skyle to pick her up but Skyle was still unable to find her way back to their new house successfully from this far away. It was easier this way. Hopefully.

Damien was, of course, worried about Kairi. It's not that he didn't trust Skyle, of course he did, she had looked after the girl almost all of her life after all. It was Kairi's new developments that worried him most. She was walking pretty confidently now and had quite a few of her teeth in. Soon she would be talking. She was already getting herself into trouble and this would be the first time Skyle would be on her own with the baby since she began taking steps.

Damien was brought out of his thoughts by a train whistle and the sound of children running at their parents. He looked around for Angela's dark hair but never saw it. Instead he saw a red head approach him. He was about to ask what she wanted when he realised it was Angela. She had dyed her hair. "Hey there. Love the hair." He smiled and took her trunk from her. Hopefully she was in a good mood.

Angela's aqua orbs were blank as she glared out the steamy window. It was cold out, Angela could tell by the looks of things. She bundled up with her blanket, one of Sarah's. It had her name on it, in golden lace; it was one of Angela's favorite things. Someone had cast a spell on her trunk so that it could hold some more items then before. Which included her instruments; she wasn't looking forward to how heavy it would be. When the train pulled to a stop, she gave an overly heavy sigh and stood. "Here we go." She muttered.

She lugged her bags off the train, zipping up her parka. Her black, winter boots came up to her knees, the fuzz on it not yet snow covered. She looked around the frozen world, seeing where the bugger who called himself her father, was. She found him. He was tall in the crowd, and she approached him. She wanted him to be angry, and found the look on his face pleasing, until he complimented her. She scowled and jerked her trunk back. "Don't touch my things." She said with an even deeper scowl, her eyes turning icy as she looked at him.

Damien sighed, this wan't going to be easy. He wasn't sure why Angela was like this, Skyle was fine with him, The baby was great and Angela had been in the beginning. Then she changed. He assumed it was just her being a teenager and did his best to ignore her attitude but he did discipline her if she acted out properly.

Damien held out his hand, waiting for her to take it but knowing she wouldn't. "Do you really want to stay out here in the cold or do you want to go back to the house?" A small smile appeared on his lips. He was slightly well off when she had left but, since then, he had received a hefty inheritance from a relative he never knew he had since then. It had made him wander if there were people out there who knew him and were related to him but then he figured they could find him if they wanted to. It wasn't hard. They had moved house, Him and Skyle had decorated and she had done Angela's room for her while he had done Kairi's nusery.

"Come on Angela. Skyle is waiting for us to come back." Damien knew Angela would want to see her cousin. They were close, they had to be with the situation they were in. He guessed that Skyle would be writing to her friend again, she was more cheerful now. He didn't like to pry into their lives but sometimes he just had to ask. The sound of what her friend was going through broke his heart and he had told Skyle he could come round any time. Damien was willing to look after the children for him if he needed a break.

OOCOut of Character:
Hey, I'm so sorry about the long wait. Real life is hectic this time of year.

The sigh was quiet, anyone else would have let it go, but not Angela. She snarled a bit in her throat, something that was supposed to come to words. However, the large growl came out as a puff of air. Angela knew she should have been grateful for what Damien was doing for her, but she just couldn't be grateful; not with someone who tried to take the place of Sarah, or her father.

She shivered again and glared at him more. She figured that he had the plans to apparate, which meant getting close to her. She let her button nose wrinkle slightly, and adjusted her two shirts and hoodie down. They fit a bit better now then they had at the beginning of the year, she had lost weight. She had a goal to be down to 120 lbs by the end of the year. "what's the hand for?" She asked. Maybe he would take a normal way home. She wanted to avoid touching him at all costs.

Angela was no longer a touchy person. Anyone who had known her, like Skyle, would never recognize her now. She was changed, hardened by the world, cold to others. She didn't even want people calling her Angel or Angela, because the name didn't describe her at all. What no one knew, was how much she hated herself for the change, and she really did. She hated everything about who she had become. And maybe... everyone else hated her too.

Damien looked at her blankly, she was just being difficult now. "Well, I am apparating home. I thought I might bring you with me seeing as you don't know where we live now." He wasn't sure if Skyle had told him about where they had moved or even if they had moved, but right now he didn't care.

Even Damien could see the changes in Angela. He knew she was reserved from people and she didn't trust people with their family but she hadn't been this hostile before. He knew most of the adoptive parents in his situation wouldn't deal with her but he was fine with it. She was a teenage girl and she had had more than a tough time already. He just hoped that she would be able to sort herself out.

Damien held out his hand again, hoping for less hassle. He knew it was almost time for the baby's snack, well, she couldn't really be classes as a baby any more, she was on her way to being a toddler now. Either way he could tell there would be crying if they didn't get back soon and he didn't want Skyle to have to do it. She had looked after her enough and Damien was trying to convince her to go back to school with Angela next year. A battle he was losing so far.
