Hoshi was in the owly looking after Niky-chan. It had been a while since she had sent messages with him but then she and her friends from Japan didn't really need owls to keep in contact. Only the tabloids. Hoshi breathed. The sky was crisp and cool. Perfect, not too cold but not too hot either. She wondered for a moment if this was what was people meant when they where perfectly at ease. These moments didn't last long though it had been a while since she had been able to smile with her heart really into it. She never fake smiled but she did often have to force herself to believe in what she was saying and doing.

Like a whined up doll who's clock work had started to ware down Hoshi felt as if it took twice the energy it normally did for her to get up and run around. And yet she didn't want to slow down. She couldn't. If she did he friends would wonder what had happened to her. There was really nothing to tell. She just felt... Down. Not for no good reason though. In the horizon of the cloudy day appeared a black dot that she knew all to well. A scream was caught in Hoshi's throat. It couldn't be.

Suddenly the sound of flapping wings entered the room, followed by a rush of cool air. As the black owl landed on a perch, an evil chill leaked into the air, red eyes glaring around toward Hoshi as it screeched loudly.
Hello, my children. How is Hogwarts treating you? I'm thought about dropping by, but what type of parent surprises is children at school after a 2 year break without a word. Don't worry, you'll be seeing me soon. from your caring parent, Dad

As swiftly as it came, the owl vanished into the gray sky without a backwards look.

Hoshi's hands shook as she took the letter from the bird's leg then let him leave. She was happy it did. The presence of the black bird was enough to make Hoshi want to curl up. She read the short but breath taking letter and let it drop on the floor. He was here. Her father was in the country and he was going to see them. Haruhi-san had promised that they would be safe from her that they would have a good life here.

Hoshi allowed herself to slip down the wall. She bent her knees into herself as if trying to make herself as small as possable. She stared at the letter unblinkenly. If Koaru Koshiba was in the country who knew what trouble he brought with him. Hoshi wanted to leave the letter there and run but her legs wouldn't move. He was going to drag her back, she knew it. Her legs wouldn't work. All she could do is sit there curled up like a child about to get punished and stare at the parchment.

Suddenly, the owl returned, eyes glowing as it deposited yet another letter, this one address just to Tohoru Koshiba.
Tell me Tohoru, how are you and your sister doing? I'm returning soon so watch the signs for me.

Tohoru was in the Owlery when the Owl returned grabbing the owls leg so that it could not fly away Tohoru wrote.

Father,

Me and Hoshi are fine I may soon have a girlfriend and Iam protecting mother and sister so if you go near them than I'am sorry to say that you will be takein away in a coffin. You leave us alone and you dont have to die remember that.

Throwing the owl out the window Tohoru watched it fly away.[/b]
