Alex apparated onto the floor of Saint Mungo's Maddiie in his hands, he was worried about her and the baby, someone shouldn't be attacked like that for no reason at all. He was furious with Chase, and he knew he would pay for what he tried to do to his girlfriend, but all he could think about now was getting Maddiie safe and well. " Nurse! Nurse! I need some help in here." He said as he began to walk up near the stretchers. He laid her down very softly and gave her a kiss on the forehead. He could see her eyes where slightly open and he held her hand, he knew she was going to be alright he knew it, so would the baby. " Someone hurry, we need help out here." Alex yelled hoping someone would hurry up.

A group of Nurses came and took Maddiie from Alex, telling him to wait in the foyer and that she will be alright. He didn't want to leave her side and he knew it wouldn't be long until he could go in to see her so he just walked back out into the foyer and waited until she was able to have people go in to see her. which he hoped wasn;'t going to be long. He started to write out letters to send to all the different friends and family, incase they wanted to come in and see her, and sent them off with his owl.
 
Lily had been in the backroom of the store folding up the newest shirts to arrive when she received an owl that surprised her. Alex, one of her good friends from school, was frantic. She stared at the letters on the page wondering exactly what had happened to Maddiie that they were at St. Mungo's. Her own life had been so busy lately with the shop and competitions that she hadn't had much time to keep up with her friends from school. "Maybe she is having the baby already," she said aloud to no one in particular. Walking to the front she found Courtney and informed her of what was going on before returning to the office and grabbing her purple purse, she cursed herself for wearing heels to work that day before she tossed the green powder in and jump into the floo.

Popping out on the other end, she moved quickly to the reception area and started to ask where she would find the couple when she spotted him out of the corner of her eye. Alex was looking leaner and meaner than the last time she saw him before taking off for China. She thanked the reception witch and crossed the floor to her friend. "So, you don't bother to tell me you are back, is that how this is?" Lily teased, knowing that Alex had to be rather tense with all this going on and moved to hug her friend. "What happened?"
 
Elliott Woods was the first one to come out after nearly hours working on the batter woman. She would have been dead if it weren't for those that came and rescue her on time. Unfortunately for the child, Elliott waited till he talk to love one with despair on his settles in his eyes. He didn't want to be the barrier of bad news, no one did. This why it made his job a lot more difficult than it should be. He sighed walking out into the foyer with a clipboard floating nearby him. "Is there a Fields? Alexander Fields?" he called out looking about the waiting area. He wasn't the one to have greeted them when they first came in, it had been several assistance and other healers who were still attending to Ms. Hollawarth. When the man stood up and walked up towards Elliott, he kept his face straight and motion for him to follow inside a conference room. "Come with me"
 
Alex gave a half heartily smile when he saw his friend coming over, he was in a terrible mood he felt like killing someone. " Well I would have told you, but i've been running flat out trying to stop everything happening to Maddiie, you would probably know that the Death Eaters are after us." She would be able to tell from the seriousness in his voice that there was going to be no mucking around. " Chase Blade happened to her, I was keeping a eye on Maddiie from a distance and I heard people shouting then I heard the killing curse a few times and I jumped out and stopped it from killing her." He was worried he was hoping they where ok and he was hoping that nothing would happen to the baby otherwise there would be blood and it would be the whole lot of the Death Eaters who will be paying with there lives.

He then heard his name get called out by one of the nurses and he was quick to follow. " Yes Im Alexander Fields." He was hoping he had news on Maddiie, saying she was ok or whether she wasn't ok, he was just hoping she would be alright. " Is she ok? Whats going on?" He asked quickly to the man who had called him over.
 
"She's in critical conditions, but fast asleep at the moment. She was hit badly, there was lots of blood and fluids" Elliott continued. "The child wasn't up to its 6th months term, but surprisingly fully developed. Your daughter in a incubator, she will be there for some time." Elliott continued on explaining. "We don't know if she will be surviving or not. There a chance your daughter may die Mr. Fields" this was the bad part of his job. "We will be attending to her as much as we could, let's just pray for the best" he open the doors but before he slipped out he ask the man, who wasn't much younger than him if he had any questions. "Do you have anything else to ask me?"
 
" When will I be able to see Maddiie?" He asked hoping it would be soon, he could feel a tear stroll down his eye, but he chose to keep his head up high and try to keep it all under control, what point would it be for him to lose it in here, people would get hurt and would die, if he began to lose control. Looking out the door he could see Lily still standing there, with her eyes open and looking somewhat worried.
 
"You can see her in a couple hours" he said while taking a good look at his chart. "Its best you made arrangements just in case" Elliott left afterward, leaving the man to sauntered back to the waiting room. He had a lot to do while the arriving family waited for hours. Ms. Hollawarth conditions were terrible, and along with that her record showed she suffered from a rare disease. Very uncommon that he never heard it before, but when he looked up in the facilities library it exist. This discovery was found by a healer of his time, an O'Brien was the one to make this first discovery. Elliott worked around the clock using both magic and muggel treatments.
 
Lily was stunned. She had heard something about Maddiie being in trouble, but had not had any time to figure things out for sure. Between practices and her store, she hardly had any freetime -- the way she wanted it until her husband was out of school. Absorbing what was being said, she had hardly a second to open her mouth when someone came out to talk to Alex. She followed them to the conference room, standing outside in the hall so as not to intrude. Watching Alex's face, she could tell that the news was not good. Not only was she worried for Maddiie and the baby, but she worried for her friend.
 
Walking out of the room, Alex was not really in a good mood, he was going to find Chase and he would severe his head from the rest of his body, it was driving him insane that he was able to get away when he did. He should have died. As he walked out he stood with his hands on the wall, then he thought about what could happen to his daughter and he leaned back and punched the concrete wall with all his might leaving his fist print sitting in it.
 
Roswald and Lila immediately arrived once they received Alex letter. Roswald looked around the foyer there was no signed of her anywhere, how could this happen again. Two attacks was pushing it, Roswald sighed in disbelief. Lila comfort her husband the best that she could, it had been the worst months of everyone lives that was close to Maddiie. She could very makeout the anger in his face, he wanted to blame Alexander for all of this, but she pushed him to sit down and calm down. "Please it won't help if you start blaming him Roswald, its not his fault" Roswald looked at his wife shaking his head. "This is Maddiie first it was her brother Damian, than it was her mother Christina and now its her. She shouldn't even be a target at all, defenseless girl. And he expect me to her marry him. Over my death b-" Roswald was cut off short shaking his head in sheer anger. "Death Eaters don't have a reason to attack remember that Roswald, that's why we both work at the ministry. To stop them before they act, but life happens you can't just have control over these situations" she kept rubbing his back while Roswald listen, it made sense but still, if it were to happen to Kasey he would react just the same. "Let's just hope she okay, and the baby to" she kept saying, Roswald let out a deep sighed. "Let's just hope"
 
Lily stood tall on her high heels, her purse over her arm, watching Alex walk out of the room and move to the wall. As he punched it, she began to fear the worst had happened -- that one or both were gone. She moved to his side, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Alex, talk to me. Don't damage yourself that you won't be able to be there for Maddiie. Talk to me." She pulled at his arm, trying to move them back towards the waiting area so that he could sit down and hopefully keep his emotions under control.
 
Alex saw Roswald and Lila step into the foyer and began to walk over towards the both of them bringing Lily with him , looking down at the ground as he strode over to them. " They said she is in a critical condition and the baby is in a incubator they said they might not make it. But everyone is doing there best." Alex was reluctant to tell them who attacked her because he wanted to be the one who killed the pathetic excuse for a person himself. " The Death eater that attacked her was Chase Blade a former school friend of ours, Don't worry Roswald I'll sort this out, I know where he will be and I will deal with it."
 
Roswald went rigid by the news but Lila held in back knowing the worst he could do to Alex. "Thank you Alex for telling us" she spoke for the both of them as for Alex going after the death eater Lila wasn't sure what Roswald wanted to hear. "We have faith that she will survive, wizaring world has more faith in magic than muggel world technology" she tried to make things sound so casual. Put in words so that everyone had just a little more hope than what it. "Again thank you Alexander, you are a good man for my daughter" Lila finished but felt the tension in Roswald arm. She got up and escorted Roswald to the facilities dining room, maybe coffee will calm him down.
 
Melodie rushed into St Mungo's as soon as she heard about Marlana...Maddiie. It would take a lot of time for her to remember she was Maddiie now, Marlana was in the past. Melodie was so worried for the girl as she burst through the doors to see Alexander with a devastated look on his face. "What happened? Are they OK?" Melodie managed to get the words out of her mouth, the look on the people's faces worried Melodie, she could tell there would be bad news coming her way. "Where is she?" Melodie pleaded to Maddiie's family, Melodie felt so close to her and if anything had happened to Maddiie or her baby she would be devastated.
 
Alex saw a girl bust through the door that obviously knew who he was, but he had no idea who she was. " Maddiie is in a critical condition and The baby is in a incubator and might not make it." He said not really want to talk about how his fiancee's attacker got away and how stupid he had been to let him get free from his clutches. ".....And who would you be?" He asked feeling puzzled.
 
Lily was in shock as Alex dragged her off down the hall to the pair that she remembered as Maddiie's father and stepmother, who also was Kasey's mother. Kasey was a teammate of hers in school. She stood silent, listening to the interactions between the three and realizing the tension there. She was just about to suggest to Alex that he needed to get a coffee too, or a firewhiskey, when another girl came running up to them and seemingly knew who Alex was. Lily had never seen this girl before either, so she waited for her to introduce herself.
 
Jonathan apparated to St. Mungos with Zehava. He had to be careful with his fiance. She was only a month and a couple weeks pregnant. He didn't want anything to happen to Zehava, especially after reading Alexander letter over again. It took all his strength now to overreact especially not here. Jonathan held Zehava hand as they walked inside St. Mungos. He looked around for his parents but caught no site of them. The only one he spotted was Alexander, Melodie and a girl he never met before. Jon walked over towards Alex as Zehava followed behind, "Hey Alex? Long time no see?" it was true, Jonathan hadn't seen him in a while and all of a sudden he received a letter saying his sister was in bad condition. It smelt kind of funny to Jon but he couldn't blame Alexander a lot was already happening to him. He didn't need more stress besides this, Jon was pretty sure his father may have done him in or was about too. Roswald was a bit of a hot head, unlike Jon who didn't inherited that family jean. "So what happen?"
 
" We got attacked by Death eaters, two of them, they took off after some Auror and Zazuka Bones." Alex said wanting to apparate back and finish off the Death Eaters, but going out there hot headed would result in him getting killed, he wasn't in the right head space to be fighting, he needed to be clear of mind and make sure nothing stood in his way, getting himself angry would lead to rash decisions and would be his downfall. " Your father just walked off to go get a coffee, we have a little wait until we can see Maddiie, but it shouldn't be to long now."
 
Jonathan shook his head while holding Zehava hand. "Don't worry about it man, we'll get them. But for now I really think you should take Maddiie back to Australia with you" Jon knew a lot more of his sister situation better than anyone in this room. Besides Alex, Maddiie had trusted her brother more than anyone else, he had known about her illness for a long time, and knew her situation could go wrong because of what she had. "She's going to pull through man, Maddiie a fighter" he reassured Alex, as for the child he couldn't say. Jonathan wonder if the baby did survive will it have the same illness Maddiie has? For now he had to wait and see with the rest of his family.
 


Elliott came back out after an hour have passed. He looked around the waiting room, this time he knew who's face he was looking for. "Alexander Fields, come with me" his face held no emotion, so Alex couldn't read what information Elliott hold. This time he was giving him a choice at who he wanted to see first. "Who you like to see Maddiie or the baby first?" he asked while they walked through the double doors leaving everyone behind. Elliott shoes hit the marble grounds, both their charts floated right next to him as a quill kept taking notes, just in case any importance had to do with the patients. "Both are in the same unit but in different wings of the hospital. So which one will you see?" Elliott asked him.

 
Melodie looked at all the expectant faces and supposed she had better tell them who she was. "I'm Melodie, Abathyn's cousin, we looked after Marlana...well, Maddiie" She explained, hoping they all knew about Marlana/Maddiie. "Is she going to be ok?" she asked the Doctor as he stepped out in front of the worried group. Melodie clutched her own belly, praying Maddiie's daughter would be alright. Maddiie had become like family to Melodie and Abathyn. Melodie bit her lip awkwardly and wondered what to do next. When she heard Alexander mentioning death-eaters Melodie's heart jumped, Chase she thought immediately, beginning to panick.
 
Alex slowly began to walk with the Doctor, he began to think which was more important his kid or his fiancee. " I'll rather see Maddiie first, it would probably be best to see her and see how she is going. Are her family allowed to come in and see her?" He asked hoping they would be, because he didn't want her father to build up a big resentment with him, he more then likely already had one with him. Smiling as he passed Melodie, he felt a tiny bit confused about the Marlana part, he hadn't heard of no Marlana, who was she? Why was this girl referring to Maddiie as Marlana?
 
Elliott nodded. He caught the attention of another healer walking by. Elliott briefly told her who to retrieve in the waiting room. The woman nodded and went to send for the Hollawarths and Melodie. She had asked about Maddiie, Elliott was sure she be delighted to see her. Arriving at the East wing of St.Mungos, Elliott acknowledge a door to his left. "Go on in but do be careful." he warn Alex, while heading towards another room at the opposite side of the corridor.
 
Jaylisa stayed for two resons. One to see that the girl and her child where safe and the other to see that the child Seer back to Beauxbatons safely. She would get in trouble for running off of course but at least with her there she would be safe. There was something in her gut that told her that she was going to see the two death eaters again. Jay was not scared. The only thing that bothered her now was being in a hospital.

Jay had a thing against hospitals. Always had even when she had been a little girl. What happened to make it so she didn't know. All she knew was that it was that discomfort that made her more carefull when she was fighing. She saw that Alex was taking the spotlight and her lips pressed together slightly. Jay placed her hand on Mr. Halloworth's shoulder. "You should know that while Alex did in fact do a lot of the fighting when he came on to the scene it was the child Seer who got someone there before he was too late." She said pointing to one corner. There Zazuka was sitting her with her hands on her face. She wasn't crying but she was shaking.
 
Zazuka couldn't face any of them. She had tried so hard to make her vision not come true only to do the job part of the way. She was sure that the child was lost or would become lost. She was shaking with fear, regret and sorrow that had been with her since before this happened. Misery seemed to be Zazuka's new normal state even though she wanted to be Miss Mary Sunshine again. It was as if fate was not allowing her to be this. Zazuka kept her head down and her face in her hands. Much like when she was a small child and her father had come home in a bad mood, Zazuka didn't want to be seen.
