As soon as Levy had deemed herself settled in her dormitory, she had almost instantly left and went in search of the library. She had only been sorted yesterday and she still couldn't help but pout at the memory. She had asked Mr. Sorting Hat where the library was and she asked kindly too, but he or it or whatever didn't even bother to tell her! He or it or whatever just blatantly told her that he was The Sorting Hat and he was not a tour guide. Well, he could have easily told her even if he wasn't the tour guide. She just needed directions anyway. But then again, the Hat's words also brought a smile to her face when he told her that it was her wisdom and not only her love of books that brought her to Ravenclaw. Well, in any case, she wasn't really disappointed with the Sorting Hat's decision. Ravenclaw House had tonnes of books! Though she wanted the comfort of the library more, and so she had went on her own to search for it.

Soon enough though, the small girl managed to be in the Fourth Floor and finally found the library. It had taken her quite a few minutes to locate it thanks to the largeness of the castle, she had to wonder how long it would take her to get used to this place and not get lost again. As Levy entered the library, her nostrils were filled with the ever so familiar scent of ink and parchment and paper. A scent that she will never forget and would always want to be with. She clasped her hands behind her as a wide grin was plastered on her face while she walked through the humongous library of the school. Yep, she should have expected nothing less from a school such as Hogwarts to begin with. As she passed through different sections though, she was wondering which one she would actually stay for the time being. History? Charms? Defense Against the Dark Arts? Muggle Studies? The poor girl just couldn't decide. Until she came across Potions. It sparked her interest the most since she barely had any books about it back home. And so she grabbed one and opened it, though most of the plants were unfamiliar to her. And so, the small girl brought the book back and headed on to the Herbology section. Perhaps there was a book there that could help her. As her eyes scanned the shelves, she found one in particular that she was sure would help her, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. Though, one problem was that it was two shelves too high for the small girl to reach. She frowned at this and tried to jump to get the book to no avail. After what must have been the fifth jump, Levy landed on her feet with a grunt and crossed her arms in front of her. She frowned as she gave the book a disappointed look. She really wanted to read it after all.
