Hello Again

Steve smiled as he kissed Caley on the head. "And I'm only going to surrender to him when I look like Jasper." He grinned at his cousins. "I don't care what anyone says. I wont have him thinking he can trample on everyone just because he's a death eater." Steve saw the look on Paul and Jasper's faces. "I told her already."
 
`but...`then he said it he had told her not to say anything but then he had.`and thats why ii really think i ought to be going.`she turned to steve and whisspered so the others couldnt hear`im scared,for all of you`she rested her forehead on his shoulder as a tear rolled down her cheek.`i keep seeing images of his face if he sees me.`
 
Steve hugged her. "Come on then." He wiped the tear off her cheek. "I'll see you guys when I get back." Steve stood up and lifted Caley up with him.
 
Paul felt sorry for the poor girl. She hadn't known what she was letting herself in for. "I can apparate the two of you out to stop you from having to creep out the front door." He held onto the both of them and in a pop, they appeared on the pavement out the front of the house. "I'll see you later." And then he apparated back into the bedroom.
 
`but where are we going to go?`she asked him as not to be heard by his furious dad.a smile grew on her face as she knew that they were going to be away from his dad.`you dont know how thankful i am of you`she said a little tooo loud.
 
Steve wrapped his arms round her and started to lead her down the path. "Why would you be thankful of me. I took you in there." He looked down at his feet as he walked. "I should just take you back to your house. By the time I've walked you there and back it'll probably dark."
 
`i made you take me there`she said tears still running down her cheeks.`You cant just leave me when we get there after all i endured i may never be able to face you again if you do please stay...just for a while.and if it gets too dark you could call someone-paul or jasper and ask them to cover for you`
 
"I wont be able to call them because we contact each other by owls." He shrugged. "I will stay for a while though." He kissed her head again. "I'm nothing like what he's changed into. He used to be the most amazing man in the world. So family orientated and happy to be around us. Now he's the most horrible man I know."
 
`has anyone tried talking to him about how you all feel or about what he is doing to poor jasper?if you all try i know you can succeed.`she said as they walked.`thank you..you dont know what it means to me`she smiled as he said i would stay.`so how many other people are there other than the ones you have named?`she asked.
 
"Yeah, mum did. She ended up being shoved into the wall so her head started bleeding." Steve knew that his mum believed his dad could change back to what he used to be but Steve wasn't sure. He thought that his dad was probably too far gone to change back. "I can't remember who I've named now." He grinned.
 
`is she OK now??`she asked `well ana,odie,and obviously the others i have met you said there were 18.`she said hurriedly running out of breath.
 
"Well, there's the four babies that haven't been born yet, mum, dad, Paul, Jasper, Stacy-she's moved out, Odie, Ana, Junior-he's also moved out, Woody, David, Nick, Jerrod and Lily." He smiled as he remembered all the names of the people in his family. "I think Paul's going to be next on the list of being beat up because of the way he's treated his girlfriend. Apparently, some girl started flirting with him when he was meeting Lindsay and she saw them."
 
`i bet she wasnt happy then,`i would like to meet some more of those people in your huge family`she said laughing`although what he did was bad you cant let your dad beat him up for it, it wasn't him doing the flirting.`she said quickly.`oh and by the way your good at remembering names... i would never remember them all.`she giggled.
 
"I'll have to get a few people together. You've already met quite a few. It's only really the older guys and the girls not including Lilz of course." He grinned as they neared Caley's house. "That's why the four of us have been sticking together. In a way, we now have little groups of people in the family who are sticking together to make sure dad doesn't go too far." Then he smiled cockily. "I've always been good at remembering names."
 
`well then you will have to take me with you so i can meet them or it will be rather pointless.`she joked.`and which one of those groups do you happen to be in?`she asked`is it with paul and jasper?`she looked into his eyes as he gave the grin`oh have you now`
 
"Of course" Steve opened the gate for Caley to lead him into the house. "Yeah. Me, Jasper, Paul and Nick. It's fun when there's just the four of us." Then he grinned again as he walked up to the front door. "And yes, yes I have."
 
`come on`she said taking his hand and leading him through the door.`well you better let me meet nick.`she said nudging him.`oh really who was the first person you ever met then and it cant be anyone from your family... i bet you cant remember that.`she joked and stuck her tongue out.
 
Steve walked into the house with her. "Are your family in at all??" Steve wanted to meet her family because Caley hadn't talked about them much at all. "Why would I remember that. It was over ten years ago." He laughed.
 
`yeah all of my family should be home but Izzy might be out with Alex her boyfriend.`she laughed at his last comment`well you said you were excellent with names and that just proves that your not` she said kissing his cheek then nibbling his ear lobe.
 
"Good, so I get to meet the family then??" He smiled as he kissed her neck. "Just because I'm good with names, doesn't mean I'll remember someone that I met when I was two."
 
`You might meet them it depends how i feel`she joked.`well it should do can you remember anything about that person?`she asked knowing he probably wouldnt,she kissed him and then walked into the kitchen.
 
"Well, if you feel like not letting me meet them I might not feel like letting you meet my family." He laughed as he followed her into the kitchen. "Nope. It was years and years ago."
 
`oh hey Caley...`she turned towards the boy who looked slightly older than her sister`im Alexis,Caleys sister.`she said confidently`and i hear you go by the name of ...steve.`
 
Steve turned to Caley with a little boy look on his face. "You've been talking about me, haven't you." He grinned and looked back at Alexis. "Nice to meet you." Steve remembered the bruise on his face and thought he probably looked like bad boyfriend material.
 
`not much but she has been talking about you......every single day all day`she said jokingly.`nice to see how rubbish you are at these things caley`she said still joking and it was clear.
