Open Head Rose for the Head Girl

Open After. Yellow rose for @October Alcott ​

The head girl was not someone Cyzarine had expected to find easily, after asking at the prefect's common room, someone had mentioned something about having seen her on the third floor. Cyzarine had raced away barely thanking the other person and racing until she spotted the necessary person just on the third floor. "October Alcott?" she asked with a tentative tone, she was a little nervous about speaking to the head girl even if the girl seemed perfectly friendly. Cyzarine kept a warm expression on her features an excitement in her movements, giving out roses was great. ​

Hiding away in the prefects common room hadn't worked, and so October was taking on a different tactic to try and avoid the rose deliveries. She had packed all her things up and was heading back up to her dorm, hoping nobody would find her all the way at the top of the castle. She had only made it as far as the third floor though, when someone was calling out to her again. Heart sinking, October nodded as she turned to the girl, trying not to let her disappointment show. "Do you have a rose for me?" She asked, doing her best to keep her tone neutral.

Cyzarine skipped over, nodding her head excitedly, "I do indeed!" the gryffindor took one of the yellow roses out of her basket, got the associated note and held them both out to the girl. She hoped that they would bring a smile to the older girl's features, in Cyzarine's mind the head girl deserved the absolute best. Cyzarine had to think that a rose with a note would bring it too, it would bring happiness.​

[October Alcott]

October dreaded whatever this rose may say, but she knew she had no choice but to accept it graciously. She forced the best smile she could onto her face and took the rose, praying it wouldn't be from another member of the Quidditch team. October didn't think she could handle that, especially not in public. She bit her cheek nervously as she opened the note, relief running through her as she read the message. Of course April would send her something so sweet. October sighed softly and closed her eyes for a moment, pocketing the note before giving the girl who had delivered it a more genuine, though smaller smile. "Thank you..." She said softly, relieved that at least there was one person who would always have her side. October gave the girl a last smile and then took a step away, hoping to get away to her dorm and hide out the rest of the rose deliveries.

"No problem!" The girl told her with a bright smile, the note and rose that she had brought to the older girl had seemingly been good and she gave a little wave to her when she left, continuing on to where ever it was that she would be heading. Cyzarine liked when the roses made people feel better. It always helped her feel good to. With that she took her list and picked the next one on it to deliver a rose to. ​
