Sorry, lame-o title :correct:

Luciano sat at the Slythrin table, pushing untouched scrambled eggs around his plate. As usual, he found the daily life at Hogwarts dull. The only interesting point in his life at the moment was when he caught a glimpse of his friend from Hogwarts Scotland, who he had met again at the start of the year. He glanced down the table searching for Abbey's amystest eyes. He looked back down at his plate, and let his fork fall with a clatter.

Ok, let me re-phrase that. The whole thing is lame-o :glare: Sorry.

Abigail, in her Slytherin Uniform, made it down to the Great Hall. She walked with a hand at her side and another holding a book, entitled The Year of the Flood. She couldn't say that she was enjoying it too much but she never left a book that she began unfinished. She felt it was wrong to hold such opinions until the end of the novel so she kept herself from shutting the book and pitching it to some dirty mudblood.

The violet eyed girl made her way over to the Slytherin table, getting some glances in awe of one of the elite Glam Squad members. She paid no mind to it because she was used to it. Abbey looked for Isabella or Nia at the breakfast table but didn't spot either of them, so she sighed and walked along, passing unworthy students but she caught a familiar face and she stopped short, and glanced down to the boy. She smiled at Luciano and without asking if it was alright with him, because she knew it would be, she sat down across from him. "'Ello Luciano," she said, trying to fight her cockney accent on those two simple words but still having a difficult time.

Luciano looked up into the eyes he had just been thinking about
"Ello yourself" he said with a half smile. His eyes flicked down to the book in her hands
"That looks interesting" he said, sounding rather sarcastic, without meaning to. He wasn't much of a reader himself. He had, of course, been forced to read many dull books on history and such by his father. This had made him utterly opposed to books of such content, which was why he looked at her book with a slightly contempt air.

Abigail rolled her amethyst coloured irises at Luciano, as he told her that the book looked interesting, as a way of confirming that it was quite dull. "I am not a fan of Margaret Atwood," she admitted. "But I needed some light reading and this happened to be it," she said, as she shut the book after remembering her page number: 347. She looked around the table and sighed, she was hungry but really didn't know what she wanted for breakfast. As she poured herself a steaming cup of Earl Grey tea she gave the basic plot to the novel, well to where she had gone to in the story anyway.

When she had poured herself the sweet smelling and tasting tea and took a blueberry muffin from a small plate of them, she looked up at Luciano and asked, "Are you a big reader?" Abigail was an avid reader and for a long time tried to be a closet reader but her nerdiness came out too often to hide it.

About the novel.

Luciano knew he had been right, by Abbey's reaction. He half listened to her descrption of the book. The plot didn't interest him, only her reaction
"And you don't like it?" he presumed.
"I might have to give it a go then" he said mildly, picking the book up idly and examining it. He placed it back on the table between them.
"Let me know when you're done" he said.

Luciano watched her pour her tea.
"So you still drink to the English tradition?" he said, smiling at her. His expression changed to a a thoughtful one
"Not really. I've read alot of books... but not out of free will" Luciano wondered if he had given too much away by saying that.

Abigail shook her head as Luciano asked if she didn't like it. No, it didn't interest her at all, but as he said that he might read it she grinned. She liked having a friend that read, because as much as she liked Isabella, Nia and Willow they didn't read nearly as much or what she did, so she figured that she would be able to discuss things like literature with her new friend, she liked the thought of that. "Will do," she chirped.

As Luciano asked if she still drank to the English tradition she arched her eyebrow slightly, before remembering what he was talking about. "No. I just like tea." She let out a soft exhale then added, "At my old orphanage, we weren't given tea unless it was a special occasion and I've always been fond of the drink, so now that I have limitless amounts of tea and several other things, I drink and do things for my own preference." She grinned at Luciano but her expression fell as he said that he read a lot of books because he was forced to do so.

"That's a little silly, to be forced to read," Abigail said, wondering what kind of person forces someone to read. Well other than for classes, that was a given but she couldn't think of any reason why anyone would not want to read for one, and why they would be forced to read.

sorry for the late response. i've been busy

Same here, sorry :erm:

Luciano nodded, but was curious when she mentioned her old orphanage. He hadn't known she didn't live with her parents. He wanted to know why, but didn't ask. It didn't seem lke the right time. Watching her drink the tea, he suddenly missed England a little. The hot tea, the overcast, cold weather. It all appealed to him. He shook himself out of it, reminding himself that he was happier here, far away from his father. That thought wiped away all shreds of homesickness.

"Tell my dad that" Luciano muttered in reply, looking away. All these thoughts of his father were making him feel even more deppressed and bored than usual.

Abigail frowned as Luciano seemed upset at the mention of his father. She made a conscious effort to change his mood, because she didn't like to see him like this, by asking, "Do you like Quidditch? I'm heading out to the Pitch later if you want to have a one on one game." She smiled gently at her friend, as she met her friend's warm brown(?) eyes with her amethyst purple orbs, holding onto them for a long moment before the butterflies she felt in the pit of her stomach caused her to blush and then to look away from Luciano.

Luciano considered her offer
"I suppose... I'm not the best though" he said, eyeing her with a small smile. He was curious when she blushed and looked away. Cocking his head slightly, he refrained from asking her what that was all about.
"I'm up for it, just as long as you don't leave me behind" he said, the same little grin on his face. He wasn't a terrible flier, but then, he wasn't wonderful either. Shrugging, he leaned back on the bench.

Once again sorry Lizzy.

As Luciano said that he was up for flying with her, Abbey grinned widely and said, "Great!" She had decided not to try out for the team this year, it was too much for her at this moment, she wanted to do well in school and it was so much pressure being Seeker so playing for fun was perfect. "I wont. It'll be nice to fly wit'out 'aving to worry about the rest of the 'ouse gettin' mad at me for not catchin' the flamin' snitch," she said truthfully. Taking one last sip of tea, she put the china down carefully. "You set?" she asked eagerly, smiling toothily, much like a young child on Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa Claus to come down the chimney with all the presents.
