Kate was lying on her bed in her dorm. She was bored out of her brain. So far the year had been pretty uneventful, for once Kate had been quite relaxed, she really didn't have much to be worried about except Stefan but compared to other years she had a lot of weight lifted off her shoulders. She still had to reply to Stefan's letter,Squishy had had a long time to rest and she was going to send her back this evening. She was looking forward to seeing him,she missed him a lot.But it made her happy to know that he would possibly be returning next year.It was a lot to undertake as he had missed two years and he was going straight into NEWTs though she didn't know if you could do them with out completing your OWLs.Kate could help him if he needed to.She would gladly help, she loved helping people. It made her feel good knowing she made someone else feel good or at least made their day seem better then what it had originally.Even when she had been ill herself she had tried to make other people feel better or just give advice. Now that she had a relatively free year she was going to focus on making sure other people were nearly just as happy as her or just a bit better. She should probably be a charity worker when she was older. She would certainly be happy doing that job.Knowing that she was changing people's lives for the better would make her feel better.Maybe work somewhere out in Africa or something. But maybe that was something she would do for a year before returning to either New Zealand or where ever to find a job and maybe settle.Kate would like to do a lot of things before she settled into anything.Traveling the world was one thing she would love to do and maybe do one or two things that are a bit extreme but something that you would never regret. All these ideas usually floated around her head, she would think about them periodically in her free time. This year she had a lot more free time,a lot more then any other years.Maybe because she had nothing too serious to worry about she found she had more time on her hands. It was a nice feeling ,having a lot more free time.

Kate finally got off the bed and walked down to the common room and out the door. She had to go somewhere, she would prefer lying somewhere outside instead of inside. She hoped to bump into one of her friends. She hadn't talked to any of them in ages and she wanted to see how things were. She had met Sapphire the other day and they had done some catching up,well needed catching up. She hadn't had a proper girly talk with anyone in ages and it had been nice to do that. She hadn't been able to act like her age for the past few years and it was nice to finally be able to.She walked down the stairs ,past the Great Hall and out into the grounds. It was a nice day.Spring was in full bloom.Spring was always her favorite season,it was so green and yellow and it was like everything was waking up from Winter.Halloween didn't feel the same though. She was used to the trees being bare, the nights getting darker earlier and the night being cold but she hadn't gotten used to it and they were inside for most of it so it didn't matter that much. The hall was always fantastically decorated and there was always lots of sweet and it was fun to see what everyone dressed up as.This year Kate was dressing as a doll. Her dress had arrived a week ago and she had used some old things in her suitcase for the rest of the outfit. She felt like a little girl in her dress. Her hair was in to pig tails and her make up was all over the top and the dress was all fluffy. She was looking forward to having a night of fun.

Kate was now at the outside of the garden. She could already smell the flowers and she knew this was the place to be.She hadn't been here in ages not since she sat outside with Shiloh two years ago.She had been sick then.Life hadn't been good. But things had changed since then. She was out of the storm and now she could live life like a proper sixteen year old.The Garden was practically empty there were only one or two people milling around. She wasn't really sure what she was going to do here. She walked over to a big tree which had lots of branches.Deciding she had nothing better to do she began climbing.

Being back at school was something that gave Sammy a bitter-sweet feeling. In one hand, Samual loved school, he loved learning magic and hanging out with his friends and family. Having time away from home was something that the Gryffindor knew he needed so he could be more independent. But Hogwarts New Zealand wasn't quite the same anymore, after the expulsion of his sister. Sammy was grateful that he didn't have to be near Annalie Darkhart ever again, but he wished that Tamalia had not been expelled too. It didn't seem fair at all that she should stay at home and never learn magic. Sammy knew how much she loved magic and now she'd never be able to used it because her wand was destroyed and she hadn't finished her magical education. All this made Sammy glad to be back at Hogwarts, since it was all too obvious that Lisa was furious about Tamalia 'throwing away her life' as she called it. He'd never realised just how upset Lisa had been about being a squib, because she always seemed totally fine with it, but now that Tama had basically ruined her magical life, Lisa seemed to be able ready to strangle her to death. Atleast at Hogwarts he wouldn't have to face all of the craziness that was going on back home, but it was a little weird not having his sister in the Common room with him anymore, it made him wish that Hamish, Lucy and Bethany were a little bit older so they could attend Hogwarts with him, just so he wouldn't be alone. Since Nadia would be graduating this year, it meant that for the rest of his time at Hogwarts, he'll have no family to be with and talk to. It was a totally foreign feeling for him because he always had family with him, but soon all of that would be different, he wasn't sure what to make of it.

Leaving the castle behind him, Sammy made his way outside into the sunshine, which greeted him with clear skies and warm sunlight. Taking the time to absorb some much needed warmth from the sun, Sammy continued to wonder around the grounds, finding himself gravitating to the Hogwarts Garden. As of late it had been a favourite place to be for him, since the Rosebush had lost its appeal by an outstanding margin. The Hogwarts Garden had more trees and a few flowers growing around the area too. They were all bright and beautiful right now because of Spring coming in, there was still signs of Winter, but that was only natural, besides, New Zealand winter wasn't extremely cold on average anyway, not compared to the European winters Sammy had witnessed. Sometimes he'd think he'd die from exposure to the elements, when it reality it was only just a little bit of snow and wind. With an exhale of air, Samual looked up at a tree he'd nearly walked into. Hopefully he'd manage to run into one of his friends here, or maybe he'd find Ademar again and plan the holidays all over again, or maybe do something else. A smile crossed his face when he remembered climbing the trees here with Nephy in a quest to make the biggest leaf pile the world had ever known, and then dive in it. It'd worked out amazingly for him and had been a lot of fun. Unfortunately it was the wrong season now to do that, all the leaves were new and would be harder to shake down. Deciding to climb the tree for the sake of climbing it, Samual quickly found the necessary branches to carry him quite a distance off the ground. Looking out at the grounds, Sam failed to notice that someone whom he knew quite well had climbed the tree, so when he started to go down a few branches quickly, he'd had the shock of his life. "Kate!" He exclaimed, rather surprised at seeing the older Hufflepuff climbing a tree. "I didn't see you there, you scared me." He admitted, letting out a sigh of relief. Pushing a smile onto his face, Sam continued. "So how have you been?"

Kate couldn't remember the last time she had climbed a tree. It was actually quite fun and she wondered why didn't she do it more often. There were plenty of huge, old trees at home. Perfect for climbing,if she was even bored she could even contemplate building a tree house. She had never built one before and it would be interesting to see what her construction skills were like. She was sure she would get plenty of help. Recently her parents had been at her over choosing a career. There would come a time when her Dad would no longer be able to be in charge of the business he now owned. Her parents would probably return to Ireland and live off the money they had earned from the business. They wanted to know would any of them take charge or it when they retired. If they were to go by age it would be Sara, she was her elder by five minutes. She had a feeling Star or Sara might take over. She wouldn't do a good job,she was just basic at business and Ryan would be useless also. But Star and Sara would be great at running it.Kate didn't know what to do and she hated the way her parents were always at her. She was trying her best to think of jobs she would love doing but she just couldn't make up her mind. It was really her only dilemma this year and it was a tough one.It was one of the only weights still on her shoulders. She had a few ideas in her mind but she didn't want to tell anyone. There were two main ones and they were completely different professions. One was a singer and the other a healer. She had always loved singing and had dreamed of being a professional as a girl and she was sure with the right effort she might even be able to fufill that dream but she would also like to be a healer. She had seen the great work they did. They saved peoples lives or made them better. She might even be a nurse in a foreign country. She couldn't decide.

Kate had now climbed to almost the top of the tree.It wasn't safe to go any further so she stopped and looked to see if there was a big enough branch to lie on. Sure enough there was one there and Kate carefully lowered herself down so she was lying on the branch. It wasn't that uncomfortable. Kate could ave even dozed off if there wasn't the threat of slipping and breaking a lot of bones. Kate didn't want to spend the night in the hospital wing even tough the nurse was lovely. She had enough of hospitals to last her a few years anyways. It was nice just lying on the branch. She could make out the clear sky through the smaller branches and buds on the trees. It was nice a peaceful too,it was much nicer then lying on her bed in her dorm. Even though this wasn't as comfortable it was much more calming and nicer. She started singing 'Naturally' a very old song that she remembered from a little girl. She sang it quietly as she didn't want to ruin the lovely peace and quiet with her singing.Kate sang a bit louder but it was interrupted by the sounds of branches being moved. She sat up and saw Sammy,he didn't seem to notice she was in the tree so she was about to tell him when he looked up and saw her. Kate laughed at his shock. She would have had the same reaction if the roles had been reversed. "Sorry,I was about to tell you but then you looked up"She said smiling. It was nice to finally meet Sammy. She was worried about his as this was his first year being in Hogwarts with out his sister. "I've been great actually"Kate said, for once she had something good to tell Sammy. "What about you?"She asked her eyes full of concern.

Height's were one thing that Samual had no problems with. The Gryffindor couldn't see anything wrong with heights, you were just further from the ground than most, that wasn't really a big deal. This was probably why he climbed trees so much, they were a lot of fun, except if you fell, now that wasn't too much fun. He'd fallen out of a tree before, but all injuries were gone very quickly thanks to potions. The prefect doubted that he or Kate would fall out of this tree though, it was far too climbable, there would be loads of chances to save yourself before you hit the ground. Sammy laughed as Kate laughed and nodded to her explanation. He doubted that she was actually trying to sneak up on him, and even if she was, it was funny. It was a shock, but not a frightening shock. "Oh it's okay. At least I didn't end up falling out of the tree." He joked, looking down at the ground that was at quite a distance. Looking down at the ground did make him feel a little off-put, but that was probably natural. Samual was fine with heights, but actually estimating the actual height with his eyes was a little off-putting for him.

Seeing Kate again was really nice, he did consider her a close friend, and she was a lot of fun too. Samual wasn't sure how his fourth year would have been if he were to not have met Kate. A lot of things would have gone smoother, but a lot of fun things wouldn't have happened either, and he wouldn't have had a trusted friend like he had right now, that was the important thing. The Gryffindor trusted Kate, and that was all there was to it, there didn't really need to be anything else. Samual was relieved to hear that Kate was doing great. "Well that's a relief, it's good that you're doing well." That was far better than he had been going. It was a relief to be back at Hogwarts, even if a very important person to him wasn't here. Hogwarts without Tamalia was easier than home with an expelled Tamalia, there was just too much trouble. But atleast one of his friends was having an easy time, that way he wouldn't have to deal with any tears from friends, that was always far worse than his own. It was harder to watch others cry than to deal with your own. Kate's question, although expected, got Sammy thinking. How was he doing? He hadn't really thought about it long enough to get a definite answer, and this was probably on purpose. He didn't want Kate to worry, but he wasn't going to lie to her. His face dropped slightly. "I could be better, far better." He admitted, with a small shrug. "But that's not why I'm up a tree. Which leads me to my next question. Why are you up a tree, Kate?" He asked, steering the conversation away from his feelings. It was easier.

Kate had been having a pretty average year. It was nice to finally be resting and having a normal school year. The past years had been stressful and a lot of the time unpleasant. Her past five years hadn't been a total waste. She did have some lovely memories and she had made some great friends from her bad situations. If it hadn't been for Rumor Has It she wouldn't be friends with Sammy. She did regret that because of her he was being featured at the moment but she hoped he didn't regret being friends with her for that. He had been her shoulder to lean on when she needed that and she still had his jackets from all the times he had thought she had needed it. She had been meaning to give them back to him for a while but whenever she met him she didn't plan on it so she didn't have them with her. She would eventually get them back to him,she hoped he didn't mind. She owed a lot to him. He was one of her closest friends and had seen her at her most vunerable. She wanted to be there for him as he probably wasn't feeling great at the moment due to Tamalia's expulsion. Personally she thought it had been a bit extreme but then again she wasn't the Headmistress. She hadn't exactly like Tamalia she had always been hostile towards Kate but she had had her reasons. Sammy had loved her a lot too and it had obviously affected him. She didn't really mind Annalie gone. Knowing her she had fueled Tamalia's anger. The school would be a better place with out her. How someone enjoyed hurting people so much was beyond her. Kate didn't like judging people but she felt nothing but hate towards that girl. "thankfully"She said smiling looking down at the ground and shuddering slightly.

Kate didn't mind heights, but when she looked down from a tree she did feel dizzy and a bit light headed which was why she looked up quickly. She dind't want to faint and fall off the tree, she would probably take Sammy down with her if she did. Her shoulder was still sore from the match as was her ankle. There was no bruising though,it had all gone down and faded. The wonders of magic. In the muggle world she would still be on crutches. "First time in five years that things have gone well"Kate said smiling slightly. It was a relief to know that it was all finally over. She would always have to watch her stress levels but she was never really going to get that sick again. Things with Stefan were great. She was waiting anxiously for his reply. She missed him lots. But she was lucky. They were finally together and she couldn't be happier. She was worried about Sammy though. She hated to see any of her friends upset and she did her best to make them feel better. She wanted to give him a hug when his face fell but with their positions in the tree that would prove awkward so she just patted his shoulder "Only time will make it better and not thinking about it."She said smiling slightly. The best thing to do was to get on with his life. That was always hard though. Kate shrugged "I'm not sure really, I was bored and the tree looked climable so I decided. Why not?"Kate said laughing at the end of her sentence. That sounded ridiculous and random. "What about you?"She asked after she had stopped laughing.

This year was better than last, something that Samual was glad about. Last year had a lot of things going on at once and it was simply a train wreck. Things weren't moving as quickly as this year, in fact, compared to others, this year could be considered boring, but he liked it. Slow years were far better than jam-packed crazy years. Admittedly, he felt bittersweet about the expulsion of Tama, because she managed to drag Annalie out with her, and everyone knew that girl had to go. If the Ravenclaw hadn't have been expelled, everything would be horrible. Last year had been made horrible by her presence, so maybe the fact that she wasn't around to ruin his life. Samual shrugged and noticed that Kate had shuddered. It wasn't very cold at all, in fact, it could be considered very warm, so he doubted that she shuddered because of the weather. It could be the height, or maybe she saw a bug. Bugs weren't very nice, especially if they bite you. Samual wasn't one to hate bugs, but he was never over-the-moon with their presence. "Are you okay?" He asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Sammy nodded quietly. He realised that five years was a long, long time, and he hoped that at some point in the last five years, Kate had been having fun. Last year was stress filled and wasn't the greatest, but he had many happy moments, like building forts, playing hide-and-seek and just having a good time. Then again, Kate probably didn't really look for the good of the last five years, with all the things she'd been through, Samual doubted she could see past the list of bad stuff. It was sad, because no-one should have so much against them that they can't see the good of it all. "Maybe you're not remembering correctly. I bet there's plenty that made you happy at some point." He reassured, brushing his hair out of his eyes and smiling. It was amazing what a pat on the shoulder could do to make someone feel better, he understood why she didn't hug him, because it would have been difficult. "I s'pose so." He agreed, shrugging once again. Kate was right, he just shouldn't think about it. Samual began laughing at Kate's excuse for being up the tree. Admittedly, that was the same reason why he climbed the tree. It was there, and he wanted to climb it. "Actually, that's why I climbed the tree!" He admitted, keeping himself somewhat stable using a branch.

Even though this year was rather uneventful and for once she was really happy for a considerable length of time, it was almost too average. She didn't never wanted to go through what she had gone through again but she sort of wished something would happen. Maybe something exciting. Something that would maybe spice up the year a bit. She wondered how people went through the school year like this all the time. The Quidditch match had been the most exciting thing this year and sadly they had lost. She still thought they had deserved to win but in the end the Slytherins had caught the snitch first.Like the other two matches she had gotten over the fact that they had lost, they just had to focus on hopefully new matches. She was still a bit annoyed at Mylie and Hades for not blocking more bludgers but that wasn't the reason they had lost. They had played great but the snitch had caught them out in the end. That had happened to her in two matches now and she was determined not to be undermined by that little golden ball again. Once her ankle and shoulder had more or less healed she had practiced and she was doing so everyday. Maybe if they could get more quaffles in they could get enough points that even if the other team got the quaffle they would still win. It was difficult because they would have to get at least seven scores and then make sure the other team didn't get any. Kate was still practicing anyways. She practiced keeper as well just in case the same thing happened in the next match which she hoped didn't. Having a broken ankle was very unpleasant and a bruised shoulder is sore when you have to put weight on it when you are flying. She had also had to use it to block the quaffle which had almost been as painful as her ankle. She was upset with herself for leaving one in but she couldn't have done anything. She had been hit with a throb of pain from both her shoulder and ankle and her vision had temporarily blurred and her head had gone dizzy.

Being as thin as she was had quite a few disadvantages. Even though she ate healthy she wasn't as strong as she should be . If she had been at her normal weight she probably wouldn't have been as affected as she was. It seemed though that her body didn't seem to want to gain any more weight and it was hard to do so as she had to eat healthy to keep her already damaged immune system going and she had to practice for quidditch and she was constantly moving so it was hard to gain weight. Kate shook her head "I'm grand, I just get dizzy when I look down from heights"She said smiling slightly, avoiding looking down. Her head was still a bit fuzzy but she knew as long as she didn't look down she wouldn't faint and bring the both of them tumbling down to a painful landing. "That's true, it's just for once I've been happy for a long time, usually things were mostly bad and then I had a few good moments but this year I've been mostly happy with just one or two bad moments"Kate said trying to get more comfortable on the tree which was proving difficult. "Trust me I know from experience that if you constantly look at the bad side of things you will make things worse for yourself because every cloud has a silver lining"She said her smile wide and comforting this time.No matter how bad things have been for her she has always gotten something good out of her bad situations. Kate laughed "Great minds think alike"She said tapping her head. She was still trying to sit on some sort of comfy branch but in the process she had to look down at her feet and she saw the drop below her. "Oh no"was all she could say before she felt herself fall towards Sammy and everything went black.

Samual nodded in understanding. "Oh, I get it. When I look down I get butterflies in my stomach." He admitted. He noticed that Kate seemed to be avoiding the ground, and he smiled. (Famous last words) "Don't worry, you won't fall down." He comforted. Sammy was confident that they wouldn't fall, as long as Kate stopped figiting like she was, but he didn't stop her, but every now and then he'd hold out his arm just in case she started falling. Samual nodded in understanding. "I get what you mean." He commented, smiling slightly. "That's right, for every cloud there's a silver lining, and all that." He agreed, frowning slightly when Kate continued to move around, making him move around slightly too so that she could find a comfortable spot. If they weren't careful, they were going to fall out of the tree. "Kate, stop moving around, you'll fall." He warned, gripping a branch and moving backwards. Samual nodded in agreement. "I think you're right." He agreed, thinking about the remarkable coincidence that they both managed to climb the same tree, on the same day, for the same reason. It was just so unexpected. When Kate looked at the ground, Sammy didn't really take notice of it, so he partially stood up to move a little further backward so she could have more room. When she spoke, Sammy looked up. "What-" Kate started falling towards him, and his first instinct was to stop her from falling, but the prefect forgot to properly stabilise himself and so ended up falling out of the tree first, letting out a short squeak of surprise.

Samual wasn't sure how long had past before Kate fell on top of him, making him cough in pain. Kate wasn't that heavy, but having someone fall on you from the height of a tree wasn't easy, and now the Gryffindor was quite sore indeed. Sammy lifted his head off of the ground and looked at Kate, he wasn't sure if she was conscious, but he was going to speak to her anyway. "Kate..." He whispered, looking around the lawn for help. Right now, he was just in too much pain to move. It was surprising how lumpy the ground could be when you fell flat on your back. "Kate, are you awake?" He continued, laying his head back on the ground and sighing. After many painful jabs in the arms, Samual managed to retrieve his wand from his sleeve, grateful that it hadn't broken. Using the sonorous charm, Samual whispered, "Kate, are you awake?!" He didn't mean to be so loud, but it was a side effect of the charm. Laying back down with his arms out, Samual waited for the Hufflepuff's reply.

Kate had always had problems with looking down at heights. She wasn'yt actually afraid of them but her vision would blur and she would feel dizzy, usually by then she would lift her head up and close her eyes and forget the image but sometimes she couldn't move her gaze from the drop below and she passed out. It didn't happen much because she didn't look down much heights. In quidditch she always looked up never looked down at the pitch. Usually she was so focused on the game if she did happen to look down nothing happened. She wasn't one to faint or pass out much either. She had fallen off walls and landed on her head but she had never passed out. It was strange how even looking at a small drop could make her go dizzy. She had never climbed many trees either which was probably why she had managed to avoid these situations before. The fact that she may pass out when on the tree hadn't occurred to her when she was climbing it, it had only been when she had actually been up there and looked down that she had realized her mistake. But if she didn't look down she would be fine. "Yeah I kinda feel dizzy when I look down"She said looking at Sammy and trying to focus on him so her eyes didn't wander. It was almost impossible to find somewhere to sit on the damn tree, there were so many little branches that sometimes got caught in her hair when she moved a certain way. "I can't help it,I'm trying to find a space where there is nothing sticking into me"She said moving again but this time she had a rather pointy branch sticking into her side. "It's a proven fact"She said smiling, she wasn't actually sure that it was proven scientifically or what ever but to her it was proven from past experiences.

When she looking down at the ground, she did try to move her gaze back up to Sammy. But she couldn't she just kept staring. In her mind she was saying move move idiot. But sh couldn't,then she felt her vision go black and felt the sensation of falling towards Sammy. When she woke up she could feel something squishy underneath her. She wasn't sure what it was. It was quite comfy to lie on though. She was about to go back to sleep when she felt something in her legs. Her head was swimming and her thoughts were muddled but something sharp pain was alerting her still sleeping brain that there was something wrong with her legs. Kate tried to ignore it, it was annoying, she just wanted to go back to sleep on whatever comfy thing she was lying on. But then she heard something. She wasn't sure what it was but she thought she heard her name. Then she felt something else, this time it was her wrist. Kate groaned, all these things were stopping her from getting to sleep. But she could feel herself waking on. The pain in her wrist and legs was getting sharper and she was becoming more aware of everything around her. She realized with a start that the 'squishy' thing that her head and torso was resting on was Sammy. Kate now began to fight the blackness and drowsiness. She had fallen on Sammy, from the tree. Kate started to worry which helped the process of getting back all her senses. The things that woke her up completely was the sound of Sammy's voice resounding through her head. "Ah"She screamed, surprised by the sudden loud noise. Kate slowly rolled off Sammy, her legs and wrist sending sharp bursts of pain every time she moved. "So sorry"She croaked out. She couldn't believe she had passed out on a tree and landed on Sammy. He must be in a lot more pain then she was. Her legs and wrist had got the brunt of her fall but his back had got his. Managing to lift herself onto her elbows Kate moved via her elbows, trying to ignore the pain. "Sammy where are you hurt?"She asked worriedly. No point asking was he okay but he certainly wouldn't be after that.

Samual waited until Kate responded. Admittedly, it had taken her a little while and he wasn't sure why. Did she hit her head on something? Other than his bones, which he was sure were going to be in a lot of pain very soon. He heard Kate groan and that was a good sign, sort of. At least it meant that she was waking up, even if it meant that she was in pain. When Kate screamed, Samual also screamed in shock because she had managed to shock him after he shocked her. In any other situation, he'd be laughing, but right now laughing was a painful thing. A wave of relief washed over the Gryffindor when Kate finally rolled off of him and he could stretch his chest out slightly. Kate wasn't that heavy at all, but it was an extra bit of weight now off of his sore bones, he was grateful she finally woke up and it appeared that she had not smashed her head on anything. She wasn't bleeding from the head, not that he could see anyway, but his emerald eyes were taking quite awhile to focus on anything. He had a huge headache, but he couldn't feel his head bleeding out, so he was confident that it'd be totally fine.

Samual heard Kate's apology and nodded, slowly trying to roll over to his stomach. His back was killing him, but when he tried to roll over, it didn't really work out well and so he gave up. He moved his head towards where Kate was, she was on her elbows and Samual frowned slightly. She was obviously in pain, and he felt bad, even though he was in pain himself. Kate asked him where he was hurt, and it took him several minutes to fully note down everywhere that hurt. Much to his surprise, his feet and arms were quite all right. His shoulders, back and chest were the centres of most pain, his right hip was sore too. "A little bit everywhere I suppose." He said quietly, putting his wand back up his sleeve and looking back up at the tree. It was quite large now that he thought about it. Climbing it made it seem quite small, but now that he had fallen out of the tree and was on the ground, he realised just how big it appeared. "I don't think we fully thought out our plan." He muttered, slowly blowing a curl out of his eyes. "I think we should have had brooms with us or something. That would have been smart." He added, forcing a smile in an attempt to make everything better..

Kate couldn't believe that they were in this situation. This was the first time in years she had climbed a tree and now they had managed to fall out. Kate was surprised that Sammy hadn't cut his head. She was glad he hadn't, from her position she couldn't see any blood and he would hopefully tell her if his hair felt sticky. She just hoped there wasn't something seriously wrong with his back, hopefully it was nothing magic couldn't fix. She had a feeling her previously broken ankle had broken once more. It was extremely painful and she couldn't move her foot. Her knees were also very painful as was her previously injured shoulder. Her wrist was also bad, but none of them would be as serious as an injured back. Kate couldn't help but laugh when Sammy screamed after her, it made her shake though and it hurt her stomach. "Hows your head?"She asked attempting a smile, but she was worried. She felt so bad, she hadn't fainted in years. She barely ever fainted and now the one time she did the two had fallen off a tall tree. From down on the ground the tree looked a lot bigger then what it had previously. "Well this sucks"She said, it was sore to move and there was no one in the garden to help them. "Ugh"She said sighing at the situation. She wanted to get up and help Sammy but she couldn't. She was frustrated that she couldn't get up and tell someone of their situation so they could get to the Hospital Wing.

Kate watched as Sammy tried to roll over. His back was obviously very painful if he couldn't turn over. "I'm so sorry, I can't believe I fainted"She said resting her arms, she had managed to make her way to beside Sammy. That was the last time she was ever climbed a tree. Kate turned on her back so she was lying on her back beside Sammy and looking up at the tree which they had fallen from. "No, that's the last time I will ever climb a tree"She said wincing at the pain. She really was sore all over. Especially her wrist, shoulder, ankle and knees. The rest was just a dull ache. "Well in fairness neither of us knew we would be climbing a tree"Kate said reasoning with Sammy. She did wonder how they were going to get off the ground, she doubted either of them would be able to stand any time soon, never mind walk. "Any idea what we are going to do?"She asked curiously. She really didn't know what they were going to do.

Samual smiled weakly, in an attempt to make it all better. It didn't really work, but it did make feel just a teeny bit better. Sammy laughed when Kate did, he wasn't sure why, it was just contagious, not that it made him feel good. He could really go for a nap. When asked about his head, Samual eventually got his hand to his curls and shrugged. "It's just ringing, nothing too bad." It wasn't throbbing too badly, he probably bumped it on something, nothing a visit to the Nurse couldn't fix. Which is probably where they should start heading. Samual managed to sit up, though it wasn't pleasant, he felt like he was going to throw up, but he didn't really have anything to throw up, so he felt worse. Even though he couldn't roll over, at least he could manage to sit up, but walking probably wouldn't happen. "I agree, this isn't exactly what I had in mind when I first climbed the tree..." He admitted. "But I guess it can't be helped, all we need to do now is give to the hospital wing, then we'll be right as rain." He was trying to be positive, because it could be worse, they could be dead, or out in the middle of no-where, but they were neither. Lots of people walked this way, it was just a matter of waiting for them.

Kate apologised, and Samual shook his head. "Don't worry, it wasn't your fault." He said, trying to reassure her. So she fainted, it happened to the best of people. It just couldn't be helped. He smiled slightly at her statement, and nodded. "I think I might second guess climbing a tree again." Lisa was right, trees were not meant for climbing, no matter how climbable they appeared. He shrugged slightly, well, as much as he could. "That's true." In all honesty, Samual would have never thought to bring a broom to climb a tree, that sounded crazy. The Gryffindor began to think about their dilemma and what they could do to fix it. "I guess we'll just have to wait. Lots of people walk down this way, so someone will see us, and then we can get going." He was quite confident tht they'd be found, so after a lot of careful though, he laid back down, just so the sick feeling would go. "All we have to do is just wait patiently."
