Auden was currently in a very bad predicament. Auden was normally very good at remembering where she put things at but today that didn't seem to be the case. She swore she had it earlier! It was in her hands when she left the Great Hall. It was still with her when she left the Hufflepuff Common Room not too long ago. But she didn't have it with her now. Auden suspected that the journal she was keeping was left in the lounge. Because that was the last place she remembered having it at. But now she really had to find the journal. Because if she didn't it could spell some serious trouble for her. Not that it contained mean secrets in it about people. Auden didn't really know anyone. Not enough to say anything mean about them anyways. It just had notes in there that she kept for classes, some of her private thoughts, and the back was filled with pictures of her and her dad. Some of her friends from back home were in it too. It was just something very important to her. Auden would be crushed if she didn't find it. It was one of the only things she had with her that she really cared about all that much. It wasn't like she had any friends. At least any true friends. There was that Troxa guy but he only wanted to be her friend when his other friends weren't around. The young Hufflepuff may have been naive but she wasn't a complete idiot. It didn't take a genius to figure out that he was actually embarrassed by her enough to the point where he didn't want to be seen hanging around with her. But that was just fine. Auden could deal with that. It wasn't like she was a mess without him. He was the first point she had met at this school but if she wasn't cool enough to be his friend all the time, then he wasn't cool enough to be her friend at all.
"Ugh where is it?!" Auden muttered under her breath. Her tiny hands lifted up piles of papers and moved furniture aside. She was in complete hopes that she would be able to find that dang journal laying around somewhere. But so far it seemed like it was nowhere to be found. It was starting to get frustrating that she could not find it because she was worried that someone might have taken it on her. Then what would she do? Try to get it back? Tell on the kid? Cry? She would probably do a mixture of all three actually. Auden a bit of a crybaby at times. More and more frantically the Hufflepuff began to search. Her heart was racing like a hundred miles per hour. It had to be somewhere in the lounge. Auden shifted over some couch cushions and frowned when she didn't see it there either. There was an end table at the end of the couch and Auden bent down to look under it. There was nothing under there either. When Auden heard someone enter the lounge she tried to jump up quickly. But she ended up smacking her head on the edge as she tried to stand up. "Ouuuuuuch!" Auden hissed. Her hand flew up to the top of her noggin. That really hurt. Plus now she felt pretty dang stupid too. But when she had heard that someone might be coming in here, she grew nervous that they might find the journal before she could.
