Jack had to admit it had been a long time since he'd been home during the day. He'd been so busy with work lately he wondered if he was making the right choices for his life. Ofira and Cale were both busy with their own lives and though Ben and Elsa were mostly schooling themselves, Jack didn't like the thought. Whilst he had been fine for them to be homeschooled for the first part, it had become increasingly obvious that he wasn't going to be able to continue to allow the kids to homeschool themselves. That meant that Ben would be finishing this year, thankfully, but Elsa would have to transfer to another school. He hoped it would be Hogwarts New Zealand, but if worse came to worse, he'd be sending her to his own Alumni, since he didn't know a thing about the other schools and he would rather not risk sending her to a school he didn't know anything about. "Ben! Els! I need you to come to the living room please!" He wasn't sure where they were, whether they were outside, or down in the basement studying, or upstairs, he knew they would hear him, but he didn't want to go and find them and he had to speak to them, which they knew, because he knew they'd been preparing for this for a while.

Ben shook his head at his sister as she pointed to the alihotsy leaves. “No, that’s Alihotsy leaves, you’re looking for the Dittany.” They looked nothing alike, but he knew she just wasn’t paying attention because she didn’t like herbology, or potions for that matter. Elsa, like his other siblings, was more interested in flying and she was actually very good at it. Of them all, he knew she would make a better Quidditch player than all of them combined. Though Magical Creatures were more her passion and she went to the local zoo whenever she could. They weren’t magical creatures, but they were close enough and Ben had been saving up to take her on a field trip to the Sanctuary in New Zealand soon, since his dad had been too busy and Ofira was scared of most of the creatures there. Cale wasn’t too bad, but he had a busy job as a healer, someone had to be home for the twins. Once he heard their Dad calling though, he looked at Elsa who seemed at just as much of a loss as he was. Ben had some idea of what this might be about though, so he had a feeling Elsa wasn’t about to appreciate this. He bit his lip slightly and nodded to her as she immediately jumped up and onto his back for a piggyback. “Elsa, aren’t you too old for this?” He asked, huffing as he headed back to the house. She didn’t seem to agree. Once they reached the house Ben looked at his Dad who was staging in the middle of the living room, tapping his hand in his elbow. “Dad”.
