Happy Halloween

[Alexa Rhowen]

Alexa loved Halloween and to celebrate it at Hogwarts made her more excited than ever. She had to skip it last year because of a cold, but she had heard all kinds of stories from it and had been looking forward to it the entire year. You would think that being that excited would get her to think about her costume a lot, but with everything going on she kind of forgot. She glanced at her costume in the mirror and smiled, the fact that she didn't give it a lot of thought didn't mean that she wouldn't like it. She did like it. The fur was so soft she couldn't stop touching it and whenever she opened her mouth and revealed her teeth it made her giggle. The young girl gave herself one more look and then headed downstairs.

Excitedly Alexa made her way towards the Great Hall and once she finally laid her eyes upon it she couldn't help but to just stand there and look around. The Hall looked great, but what was even better was to see everyone walk around in their costumes. Some funny, some pretty, but most just rather scary. After she had taken in her surroundings the young girl happily made her way through some of the people, trying to get to the other side of the hall. Once she got there her eyes fell upon the giant tables with with every kind of candy she knew and more. "Wow." She gasped and got even more excited as she reached the table. There were things on here she had never even seen and she was eager to taste them. The girl grabbed a cookie from the table and took a bite of it, before turning around and letting her eyes scan the room once again. A lot of the costumes in here were way better than hers, but she couldn't really care about that. As she looked around Alexa wondered if she might see some of the people she had met tonight, or maybe she wuld even meet some other students. Whatever would happen tonight the girl was sure that this Halloween would be absolutely fantastic!

 

[Zachery Evans]

As he was sitting down, Zachery clicked his wooden sword out of it's holster and put the sword underneath the bench. He looked around, and took it all in. The Great Hall looked beautiful, just like the other two years he'd spent Halloween in Hogwarts. It amazed him everytime, how much effort the staff had put into the decorations, it was just eye-blinding beautiful to him. Zachery's eyes spent the next few minutes staring at the costumes people had either made, or bought. He smirked slightly at seeing a girl in a octopus costume, and at a boy dressed as a vampire. Some had dressed up rather scary, or funny, or, in his opinion, stupid, but knew he couldn't complain much because of his own costume. Zachery glanced at the table, everywhere he looked; candy. It was like he was in heaven for a second. He took a handful of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, and stuffed them into his mouth at once. Zachery didn't care about anyone thinking that he was eating like a beast, that's what knights do, right? He chuckled slightly when hearing a gasping 'wow', and looked around to see where it came from. A bit further from him was standing a girl dressed as a wolf and knew that it had to come from her. Zachery replied to her with a smile on his face; ''That's right wolfie, wow..''

 

[Alexa Rhowen]

Alexa was started by the sudden sound of a voice and looked around to see who it had come from. Not very far away from her stood a boy dressed as knight and th fact that he was looking and smiling at her confirmed that it must have been him. She didn't know they boy, but she was sure she had seen him before. Maybe he was in the same House as her, maybe she had just seen him walking around. The young girl looked at the boy from head to toe and had to admit that his costume was pretty good. It actually looked like a knight from old times. However she wondered if he was carrying some kind of special sword, maybe one with a spell on it, or just a wooden sword. "Did you really just call me Wolfie?" Alexa chuckled at the boy and took another bite of her cookie. Something inside of her just really wanted to take all kinds of candy from the table and stuff them into her face, but for some reason she felt like that wasn't very appropriate. It was probably going to happen though, a bit later on in the night. Alexa smiled at the boy as she looked back up to him. "Nice costume, I'm guessing you're a knight?"

 

[Zachery Evans]

Zach' smile faded as soon as the girl turned around to face him. Instead of the smile a smirk appeared on his dirty-looking face, and grabbed another handful of Bertie Bott's beans. Eating them one by one this time. Zachery looked at the color of the beans before he ate them. He grimaced at the dark greenish bean, Zach guessed that this wasn't going to be a very tasty one, but had the courage to still eat it. Just like he'd guessed; Sprouts. His face drew, as if he had eaten something awfully sour and took a napkin from the table to spit the sprout-tasting bean into. Doing so, he immediately glanced back to the girl. Zachery nodded and said, ''Yep, I just called you Wolfie.. Wolfie.'' As he folded the napkin, Zach smiled at her. ''Unless you aren't dressed up like a wolf of course, but I kinda think you are.'' He chuckled at the girl when she'd complimented him on his costume. ''Yep and thanks, my grams made it for me.'' Zachery coughed briefly. ''Your costume doesn't look bad either.'' He grabbed his wooden sword from underneath the bench and stood up. ''Anyway, I have to go. See you later Wolfie.'' As he walked away, Zachery turned around sortly and waved her goodbye.
