Annabelle Worth was an Princess in her own mind without realizing it much. She grew up in a lovely manor in Yorkshire, England. Had long beautiful locks her mother always praised her for. And was tiny and frail like any Princess typically was, she would never be one to be able to stand her own ground. Anyone could easily pick her up and through her into the lake and she wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight. She was the size of a seven year old not an eleven year old. Heading to the student lounge the girl looked around in amazement. She hoped other first years would be in the lounge and they would be easy to spot. She was sure everyone would know she was new, she was in awe of everything and looked like the babiest kid there. She was a gawky looking kid, that was for sure. But she had the ability of hiding beneath her long hair whenever she felt uncomfortable. Not many were in the lounge and she didn't see anyone she could just go up to and talk with. Everyone looked much older than she. Sitting on one of the couches she pulled out a book she had brought from home to read. Her long hair covered her as she leaned forward over the book.
Already Annabelle felt as though she wasn't doing her parents proud or being the good older sister to be admired by her siblings. But she was nervous and she knew no one, she hadn't even spoken to the girls whom she was going to room for the entire year yet. The girl never thought she'd be nervous, but she did know once she found one friend she'd be more willing to go out and find more. She kept a finger on the line she was reading. She knew there could be bullies looking for first years to pick on and she didn't want to risk loosing her spot in her book. She heard a few voices around her but she didn't pay much attention to them, hoping someone would just approach her so she didn't have to start a conversation.
