The walk to the lakefront seemed to last forever. Monty really didn't mind, as he had Immy walking with him. He wasn't regretting that he had left his homework behind. It was a dazzling day, and wasn't worth wasting. Monty thought the day couldn't be better; he had Immy.

As they approached the lake, Monty flopped down on the grass a few feet away from the lakes edge. Monty then looked behind him. He tapped his hand on the ground next to him, motioning Immy to set next to him. Monty was interested in what Immy was going to draw, as she did have her drawing pad with her.

"So..." Monty said, as he gazed out at the lake.

[Sorry its short, long weekend...]

Immy smiled to herself as she walked beside Monty as they made there way down to the lake front. Immy loved the grounds. She thought it was Hogwart's best feature. It made everything so amazing and magical. Immy watched as Monty sat down on the grass. She stood for a while, looking at the deep blue lake. She went to where Monty was sitting and sat down beside him.

Immy took her sketchbook and opened it to a blank page. She pulled a pencil out her pocket and placed the point on to the middle of the Sketchpad. She took a look at the lake and began to lightly sketch. The outline of the lake and adding in the background the forest. She stopped drawing and looked up to Monty. Immy smiled brightly. It was an amazing day and Immy was loving every minute of it.

"So"Immy repeated. "It's a really lovely day. Look at how the lake sparkles in the sunlight. It looks so inviting." Immy paused and looked out to the lake. It was amazing. She looked down at her drawing and thought it needed something other than just the lake and trees. "Would you mind standing, with your feet just about to touch the water? Over there" Immy pointed, she then looked to Monty and smiled. She wanted to get him into her drawing as well as the surroundings

It's cool, don't worry about it.

Monty watched as Immy began to make a light outline of the lake. He drew as well, and wanted to add some stuff into the drawing. But he kept quiet and watched again, as she slowly made her marks on the parchment. As Monty watched her drawing pad, he'd look at Immy as she was into her drawings and just smile.

"It's a really lovely day. Look at how the lake sparkles in the sunlight. It looks so inviting." Immy said. Monty glanced out at the lake and got lost. The lake looked as if it had millions of little diamonds scattered all over the place. It could easily put anyone in to a trance. Monty then shook himself from the daze.

"It is completely, dazzling." Monty said, as he watched Immy draw.

"Would you mind standing, with your feet just about to touch the water? Over there" Immy asked.

Monty stood up and made his way to where Immy was pointing. He looked down to make sure his feet were in the right place; then he looked back at Immy. "Good?" Monty said, while he tilted his head down to remove the sun from his eyes.

Immy smiled and nodded. It was more or less perfect where he was standing. Immy moved back a little and put her pencil back to the page. She began to sketch out Monty. It didn't take too long. She drew in his messy brown hair and the features of his face. She looked up every so often at him and then out to the lake and trees. Immy knew it was the middle of the day but decided it would be a setting sun scene. She drew out a shadow for where Monty was standing and where it would be if the sun was setting. She darkened bits of the image, adding shading and lighting. Once Immy was close to finishing she motioned for Monty to come back over. Immy smiled as he did so. Then looked back to her drawing. Adding the shadow of the setting sun on to the lake. She stopped drawing once she had no more to draw.

"Thank you, What do you think?" Immy said, holding up her picture for him to see. "It needs a little colour I can do that later. Do you draw?"

Monty waited patiently as she drew him into the drawing. He wanted to see it, and got a bit eager. Everytime Immy seemed to look at Monty and draw; he'd hold his breath. He wanted the picture to be perfect, so being breathless seemed necessary. She was a good drawer and he felt that this drawing should be a masterpiece.

After he had stood there for a few minutes; Immy held up the picture. Monty couldn't see it that well because the sun seemed to be beaming into his eyes, more or less burning his retinas. But he didn't mind. Instead of just standing there not being able to see the image; he made his way back to his original spot next to Immy. As he sat down next to Immy, he leaned his head over to see the work she had completed. It did need a bit of color, but it was still a pleasing sketch.

"It needs a little colour I can do that later. Do you draw?" Immy asked.

"Yea, color would be great." Monty said. "Oh yes, I do draw." Monty began to sweat a little. The sun seemed to be in the perfect spot for a swim. But, he had no idea of the creatures in the lake.

"Since your done with that drawing, would you like to swim?" Monty asked, with a wholehearted smile across his face.

Immy smiled and looked back to the drawing. She'd work on it later. There was time for that. She nodded as he said he drew. That was cool, she liked to meet people that could draw. She always thought it would be cool to get every artist in the school to draw something on a square of paper and then stick all the sheets together. Immy looked back to Monty and smiled. It was hot. Too hot. She looked out to the lake. She wasn't wearing her swimming stuff but she was so warm she'd go in her clothes. She stood up and cast her sketch book aside.

"Ya, lets go for a swim." Immy said looking at him and then making her way over to the lake. She walked a few steps in and once she was far enough in she took a jumped and jumped into the water. The water was nice. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold. It was at the right temperature for cooling down. She swam under the surface before breaking the surface and waving Monty over.

"Come on, it's lovely" Immy shouted over to him

A limited smile came across Monty's face, as he watched Immy jump into the lake. He understood that she didn't have a swimsuit on, neither did he. It was appropriate enough to wear clothes into the lake. He waited as Immy made her way back up to the surface of the lake. He was kind of hesitant on jumping in. It wasn't that he was scared. He was enjoying the pleasant view. The sun hit Immy just right; like a angel floating in a sea of diamonds.

"Come on, it's lovely" Immy shouted over to him. Monty was thinking he had a problem. Always falling into trances when she was around this girl.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Monty said, with a sigh in his voice. Monty stood up and took his shirt off and slowly made his way into the water. The water was gracious, but he was just allowing his body to adjust to the water. He then made his way under the water. When he came up, he was behind Immy. He splashed some water on her, and let out a minuscule chuckle.

Immy smiled at Monty, and playfully splashed him back. Immy laughed brightly, she was really enjoying the water and swimming. It was simple and freeing. Immy smiled at Monty took a deep breath and went under the water. The lake was a marvel. It was beautiful. Creatures swam quickly past Immy as she swam deeper and deeper. Immy was loving it. She was never happier than when she was underwater. It was just too bad that humans couldn’t breath under water. Immy swam down to where some large rocks sat, it was near to the lake bed. Immy swam to one of the rocks further down and stood. It was cool to be standing on a rock under water on a lovely spring day. Immy knew she’d have to resurface soon. She was running out of air. With a small push, Immy pushed herself away from where she was standing. There was a sudden rush and then an abrupt stop. Immy wasn’t able to swim any further. She was stuck, unable to move forward. Immy felt panicked. She looked down to her foot and saw it was caught on plants. The plants had a firm grip on her foot. Immy told herself to stay calm as possible and get her foot back. Her fingers fumbled as she tried to pull away the plants. Immy was at a loss at what to do. Why didn’t I bring my wand. Immy thought, though she knew that no spells that she knew could help her in this situation. She didn’t know much at all. Immy’s fingers slipped as she kept trying to free herself. Panic was over riding any logical thought. Immy was desperate to just to free herself that she wasn’t thinking and making a mess of what she was trying to achieve. Hopelessness began in Immy’s mind, this wasn’t working there was no hope.

Immy felt terrified, she could only plead in her mind that Monty would notice how long Immy had been under. I am here Her mind was saying, in a hope Monty would somehow hear. In a brief moment Immy thought she could defy all reason and breath under water. She tried but received water in her mouth. Her throat burned. There were black spots on her vision. Immy kept trying to free herself but all efforts were waning. She felt tired, so very tired. Finally her foot came free but it was too late. Immy’s lungs burned and her brain, in a strange way of describing they felt hot. Immy was feebly tiring to reach the surface but it was in vain she no longer had any energy. Immy felt herself begin to sink, her vision was going blurry as well as dotted with black spots. In her mind Immy could see Pixie’s smiling face and the sound of her laughter. The sweet laughter of happiness. Immy hoped someone would take care of her. Immy saw the image of her brothers, smiling, looking older. Like how they would look if they were still alive to that day. Zane had his hand extended out to Immy. She was going to join them. Immy didn’t want to give up on this life but knew anything she would try to do would not help. In her mind, Immy extended her own hand and took Zane’s hand. Accepting what was happening to her.

Immy was no longer scared. She still wished to live but Immy didn’t mind if this was the end. Immy felt calm, at peace. The black spots on her vision grew. Immy knew it wasn’t long till she passed out. Immy only wished she’d been able to hear her sisters voice again. Slowly Immy drifted off into darkness guided in her mind by the brothers she’d lost.

The water from the lake had entered Monty's eyes, as Immy splashed him. After he had cleared the water from his eyes, he seen the top of Immy's head sink underwater. He let out a giggle and began to dart his eyes around in search of Immy. He was waiting for her to pop up unexpectedly and splash him again. Every time a creature in the lake rubbed against his leg, he thought it was Immy. Monty then began to think about the time his cousin had almost drowned. Brock was his closest relative his age. He remembered the face his cousin had when he came out of the water. It wasn't a desired look either. To Monty, that was one of the most fear fulled days in his life. He was helpless, as the lake there was to big to even attempt to search. But thanks to his father, he had survived.

As Monty jumped out of his day dream. He had noticed that Immy still hasn't came up. Monty moved his body around the water in an attempt to find Immy. He was panicking, and had no control over it what so ever. His breath began to get deep and heavy. Making his way in and out of the water, trying to find her. By now it seemed helpless. But, he wasn't going to stop until he found her. He had suggested the swim. Now, Monty began to think it was his fault. What if one of the creatures have her, Monty thought to himself. He felt like crying, but held his tears back.

Monty went down as far as he could, and looked with everything he had left. As he did so, he had noticed hair floating aimlessly in the water. He prayed that it was Immy. Monty made his way through the water. When he got closer, he was for sure it was Immy. But she was just drifting in the water, unconscious. He wrapped his hands around Immy and began to pull her body. But it seemed that he was powerless in water. He then noticed that, one of the creatures that lived in the water was trying to free her from the plants that tied her down. Finally, in what seemed like forever, the plants gave in and released her. Monty swam to the surface, gasping for air. He then carried Immy to the hospital wing, as if she was a baby. Monty let out tears, but know one could tell, for he was wet. All he wanted, was for this girl to live. Thats it.
