[Hillary Crespo]

So, I know a ton of people have Gimp or some other fancy one of those graphic things, and I have Paint.Net, so I don't think I can do all of the stuff that people who have Gimp can. So I made a few banners and avatars for my characters and I'm hoping to improve and make more.

They're not that good, I know. But I'm hoping to improve.

These are really very good Ilana!
I simply adore the Hillary Banner. It's so simple an nice.

The effect on the Vanessa banner is really very cool.

I would maybe suggest, for the Sasha one to duplicate the layer you want to blur/soften, blur/soften the copy of the layer and rub out the face, so that it looks just as cool but you can see the face a little more clearly. I'm not great at explaining.

Anyway, these are still all very good, keep it up!

Thanks, Emzies! I think my personal favorite is Hillary's banner. I think I get what you mean... I'll try that when I'm on the computer with Paint.Net. At the moment, I'm on the laptop.

I can't do much better with fancy programs
Anyway, with the house avatars, maybe rather than squishing the pictures up, you could just cut off the top and bottom? Sort of thing

But awesomes. With work like that using Paint.Net you should definately get something like gimp!

Thanks for the advice, Clairymuffins.

I tried again. Ravenclaw crest had to be resized a little, because it had the name of the house at the top, so it would just say the name of the house twice.
