[Eden Silverback]

Eden ran up the stairs going two at a time. She had a feeling that she would be getting a letter from her mother soon enough. It was there weekly thing for them. As of lately Eden had been unable to write to her mother like she had wanted but something was telling her that Haruhi was going to be sending her words of comfort. Eden hit the landing and skidded to a stop. Soon very soon she was sure. Eden would bet her life on it. Judas opened his eyes and looked at Eden for a moment before going back to sleep. Throwing herself into the window seal searching the sky's for a sign of her moms pet eagle.

 

[Haruhi Ater]

Haruhi looked down at the parchment that lay blank in front of her. She needed to get this across to Eden and Tohoru. After all that had been done for Eden since she had became a Koshiba it was time that she do something for the family. Haruhi had tried to let her follow her heart and make a match for love but at every turn that was destroyed. Chase was Death Eater he could be a good choice but he was now in Azkaban. Than there was Selwin another Death Eater. For some reason there love was just not enough to keep them together but nope that was also not to be. Shaking her head Haruhi started to write.

My Dearest Daughter,

It has been a long time since the last time you and I have talked It pains me that I could not do this in person but it must be done now. Your father and I have been talking. Many things where talked about but here is what you must know. Your father thinks you and Selwin are the parents are Nozomi. He will no longer allow you to enjoy a single state so that you can wait on your Chase. The time for that has past. We have gotten word that you and Tohoru are back together. After much thought it is the wish of your father and I that you two marry. There will be no need to talk about this. You will do as we say. It is your duty to tell Tohoru of this as well. Plan on marrying him as soon as you both out of school. This is for the best. If you or Tohoru even try to fight this it will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. You have no say in this. When you took Hoshi's place as first born when you where fourteen you knew that this could happen. I will close for now and wait for your reply.

Haruhi sealed the letter and watched Hermes her eagle fly away.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden saw the Hermes and a smile swept across her face. Hermes landed on a perch and there was the letter and a box was attached to the bird. Taking both Eden opened the letter first. She needed to see the words of her mother the only person that could make everything feel better. As Eden read the words that where supposed to comfort her Eden had to fight back to urge to scream. Throwing the letter to the floor Eden looked at the box she didn't want to open it. Knowing that she had no choice Eden opened it and saw the ring. Putting it on her left hand. Eden let her legs buckle and she went to the floor. How could she have done this to herself? It was just so unfair so wrong. The young seer opened her mouth and let a scream full of anger and rage free from her body.

 

[Tohoru Koshiba]

Tohoru smiled to a few first years as he made his way from his common room to the Owlery. He had a letter that he needed to send to his love. No one knew that he was dating a guy in the America's but no one needed to know. It was a secret a really big secret. Soon thou he would tell the truth but until than it would be his secret. A few more months pretending to be Eden's boyfriend and everything would be fall in place. Eden and Hoshi would over throw father and Tohoru could come out and be happy and in love. The thought of finally being who he really wanted to be was a long time dream to Tohoru now that everything was coming true Tohoru prayed that nothing would take that from him.

Walking into the Owlery. Tohoru stopped dead in his tracks. Eden the toughest person he knew was just a heap on the floor. How could she be crying. Was something wrong with Lilith? Taking a seat on the ground Tohoru took Eden's hand in his. Noticing the huge ring that was on Eden's hand. Tohoru's face went pale. "No Eden tell me this is not happening!" Tohoru said as he jumped to his feet and started to look around the room. In the middle a slightly crumpled ball was there. Grabbing it and opening it. Tohoru read the words over and over. "No Eden you promised everything would be alright. How could this happen?" Tohoru screamed. His emotions getting the best of him. He couldn't marry Eden. He was in love with his American boy all he wanted was to be happy but that was not going to happen all of his dreams where going out the window.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden felt so stupid. How could she think that she could play her father? She was so stupid for this. She had not only ruined her life but Tohoru's as well. How could she tell him that she had not seen this? She was a failure of a Seer. Hearing foot steps Eden looked up. The last person she wanted to see was standing in front of her. She would have taken Professor Styx to Tohoru the person she had left down. Someone she had promised that she had it all under control when she didn't. Eden never made promises because she hated breaking them and here she was breaking a huge one.

Eden felt Tohoru left her hand and look at the huge rock that was now on her hand. "Yes Tohoru it is happening. Do you think I wanted this to happen? I wanted me and Chase to be together not you. I don't know how this happened." Eden said as she watched Tohoru pace around the room. Eden watched as he read the letter. Eden felt so helpless when Tohoru begged her to know how this could happen after she had promised him. "I just don't know. I am sorry I didn't mean for this to happen." Eden said truthfully. Everything she had hopped to do was falling apart right in front of her. How was she going to get out of this one?

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi walked up the stairs to see what was going on between her siblings. She had gotten her own letter telling her that Tohoru and Eden where to be wed. She had known about their little 'conspiracy' for a bit now but never really payed attention to it. She thought it funny. Now that mother and father had teamed up to make them come together as the pair that they pretended to be Hoshi could not help but start laughing. "Well I see you two got the exciting news." She said with arms folded under her breasts. Hoshi had no sympathy for them then again it seemed like all the things that made Hoshi who she used to be seemed to have slowly been drained away from her.

She felt a little sorry for her brother she supposed. In fact she walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "If there is anything you need like an alla-by to were you are on any given weekend you know I'm here for you right?" She said to her twin. Tohoru was after all her blood brother and she would do as much as she could get away with which is any since was a lot. Eden on the other hand. Somehow Hoshi knew she had been behind this. The sorrow that she brought her brother would not be easily repaid.

 

[Eden Silverback]

Eden looked up at her sister standing there so perfectly. Her whole world was not crashing down on her. How could she laugh? Eden wanted to scream and rage at the frail girl. "None of this is funny. If Tohoru could have acted more straight and not started to make father question him I would never of done this." Eden said as she stood up and carelessly brushed some hair from her face. Eden hated Hoshi in that moment. "Looks like your going to be part of the wedding party. You are to wear all white and nothing else. You will carry four pure white roses. Japan will be talking about this wedding for years to come." Eden said her voice going back to her normal condescending dreamy tone.

Going over to Tohoru, Eden pulled him to his feet. "Get a hold of yourself. Everything always has a way of working its self out in the end. I will find a way for you to be with you secret little American boy if I have to kill father on our wedding day." Eden said thoughtfully. Looking down at her hand. Eden giggled. "So sweet Hoshi do you think that it is big enough? It seems with each engagement the rings just keep getting bigger and bigger." Eden said with a false laugh. She felt sick to her stomach but she would play it off. No one would know just how scared she was.

 

[Tohoru Koshiba]

Tohoru could feel the old rage building inside of him. "No this is not alright. What does it matter if I like boys or girls or even mermaids! Father has you, Eden and Lilith. Three perfect little Koshiba's that he could marry off to anyone and make millions off of just one of you." Tohoru let Eden help him up. Pacing around the room Tohoru threw the letter out the window. He glared at Hermes his mothers pet. "Go on get there is no need to take a latter back! Mother knows if she snaps her perfect fingers we all jump to obey." Tohoru said harshly.

Tohoru glared at Eden. "You better fix all of this or I swear you will not like how I treat a unwanted wife." Tohoru said a evil smile on his face. Turning back to Hoshi, Tohoru smiled. "Good I will be using you for a while. First things first once we are out of this bloody school I will be seeing my boy and he will be at the wedding." Tohoru had no plans on saying I do. He would kill first. "So Hoshi when should we be expecting you to be wedded? Tohoru asked bitterness in his voice.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi rolled her eyes slightly. "Yes, bigger, brighter more expensive but then what is a Koshiba wedding without something that worth more than a house?" She said with a black smile on her face. She knew her father's style just like she knew her mother's. Haruhi Koshiba had a love for anything fabulous. That what had made her a good hair dresser all those years and then she come to New Zealand for her and Tohoru. It had been perfect. Had Eden not been part of the picture it would have been even more so. Not that Hoshi resented Eden. She had at first planned to put Eden in the place that she once occupied while she made a clean break from the family but now knew that she couldn't run far enough to do so. Hoshi loved the role that her father put her in though. Judge and if needed, executioner.

Hoshi turned back to her brother and moved her hand to his cheek. "Will you calm down my brother. No need to threaten family. Besides I doubt she'll be any more faithful." She said as she brushed the strand of hair in her face away. "Kimihiro an I will be meeting soon and when we do we'll be planning our wedding. It should be after Eden's. After all I can't be out done by my own sister can I." She said laughing at the ridiculousness of it. Unlike these two Hoshi wasn't making a big deal out of her wedding. She was going to marry Kimihiro Icchihara, make a perfect baby and make him make her and the child benefisheries of all the Icchihara fortune after that she would kill him. Easy as that. Hoshi had long since given up on love and didn't see why everyone else was making such a fuss over it.
