Lizzie's last delivery for the day took her back to the same place she had brought her first delivery, approaching the Hufflepuff table at dinnertime with a smile. For the most part Lizzie tried to keep a distance from her sister's life and friends, for Caro's own comfort, but she did at least pay attention to who was working on the Monthly with Caro, and so she recognised Nixon Mercury's name at once, though it took her a little time and a bit of asking to figure out who he was. Once she was sure she had been directed to the right person Lizzie made her way over to Nixon, giving him a cheerful smile. "Hey, you Nixon Mercury?" She asked with a smile. "Got a delivery for you!"

Nixon's day had been eventful, the rose deliveries he made as well as the roses he received a series of highs and lows. He couldn't wait to forget all about the lows at the valentine's dance that night and thank any of the friends he ran into for thinking of him enough to send a rose. Though before the dance started Nixon needed to satiate the appetite he worked up running after so many different people in the castle that day. After sitting at the Hufflepuff house table and beginning to chow down on some potatoes, he was surprised to see someone approach him asking if he was Nixon. Nodding, he said "That's me." Before raising his eyebrows when the girl announced she had a delivery for him. He was pleased to receive another rose without a doubt, but was surprised that he was receiving yet another. Nixon clearly underestimated how much his friends wanted to appreciate him.​

Lizzie smiled, pleased that she had managed to find the right person so easily, and picked the last rose from her basket, handing it and its note over to Nixon with a bright smile. "Here you go! Happy Valentines day!" Lizzie said happily, as she presented the boy with his gift.
