Open Gold for a Snake

Another delivery, another kid Emily had never heard of before. More and more as she got older the kids in their early years at Hogwarts just seemed like a horde of noise and chaos, but how were there so many of them, and how did they all have... names and roses and friends? Walking down the length of the Slytherin table, Emily called out the final name on her rose list, guessing this was almost certainly another little kid. "Nicole? Nicole Fisk?"

Even with all the running around and embarrassment in places that came along with getting and giving roses, Nicole had still be having a rather nice day. She'd gotten some very sweet roses and managed to not totally make a fool out of herself in front of all her deliveries. She was grateful for any breaks right now, even if the great hall was something of a mad rush today with all the other deliveries going down. She looked up when she heard someone else calling her name, immediately brightening up at the prospect of another rose. "Oh, that's me! Hi! I'm Nicole!" She said, standing up a bit so the deliverer could see her better.

Emily whooped with excitement when the final name on her list identified herself, making a beeline for the Slytherin girl. "Hey, happy Valentines day!" Emily said brightly, pulling the rose and attached message from her now empty basket. "Here's your rose, enjoy!"
