Getting A Head Start

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi was practicing for next year. This was somewhat odd because Hoshi was not known for working overly hard at school but her two most favoret subjects where coming the following semester. Trasfiguration and Charms. She thought she would make up for the fact that she would mostl likly space out more times than not by knowing how to work spells ahead of time.

This was not working out as she had planed after all because all she had managed to do while trying to work on the Feather Light spell is push the object she was tring to levetate a few feet. Hoshi was somewhat angry on herself but not enough that it would stop her from keeping at it. Nothing would stop Hoshi now. She was to determaned to get the spell right. It always happened when she kept failing at something.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew was feeling light headed now that exams were over. He had just finished his breakfast and had nothing on his mind that he wished to do at the moment. Whatever it would be, it wouldn't be reading. Although Andrew loved reading and would reading anything and everything that came into his hands yet at the moment he was not feeling like holding a book.

His feet took him towards the dueling chamber wondering if anyone was dueling at this time before holidays. He was surprised to find, Hoshi, a fellow Slytherin. "Hey Hoshi, what you doing?" he asked with a smile looking at the wand in her hand.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi looked at the boy that had come in. "Andrew-senpie! Haven't spoken to you in awhile." She said happily. Some people thought that she was mean right off the bat but Hoshi was what could be called a happy goth. She loved that self image. She cast the incantation again at her bag then tried to lift it. She cursed it was still heavy. "I'm trying to put a feather light spell on my bag but its... not... Working!" She said waving her wand again and again hoping that this time it would work for her.

A bit more frustrated Hoshi stated to tap her wand against the palm of her hand. She was trying to think about what she could possibly be doing wrong. "Anyway what are you doing here?" She said flashing Andrew her super star grin.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

"It's nice to see you" he said with a smile his eyes moving toward's Hoshi's bag. "Oh! You're doing it for the next term?"he asked with a raised eyebrow and then grinned. "We need all the points, we want to show Gryffindor that we can kick butt if we like"he said as he withdrawed his wand from his pocket.

"My legs brought me here, out of curiosity" he said as he waved his wand and pointed it at the bag and it became feather light. "You just need to concentrate, chill and then have a feeling that the object you want has become light and cast it"he explained Hoshi putting forward a small book. "You should start with smaller objects first" he advised with a smile.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

Hoshi growled and ran a hand though her flaming red hair. "Chill alright." She said taking a deep breath. Hoshi closed her eyes then waved her wand while muttering the incantation to the feather light spell. The book seemed to glow red for a moment as Hoshi tried her best to imagine the book being lighter than it already was. She went over and picked it up. The book still weighed as much as a book would. Hoshi frowned. "I have to get this right." Hoshi groaned. "If Tohoru shows me up in Charms I will never forgive him." She hissed. "Gryffendor, talk about adding more wood to the fire. Not only do I want Slytherin to win the House cup but now I need to show up my twin. I was planing on making do a prank with me then making it so only him got in trouble so only he got the house points taken away but then I thought of the earful Haruhi-san would give me when she found out." Hoshi said rolling her eyes.

 

[Remus Firn]

It wasn't often that Remus came roaming through to the Dueling chamber but then again why not? He moved across the floor his robes following close behind when he came into contact with some Slytherin students up ahead, one so happening to be one of his favored students; Andrew Bruke. The other girl that was there did not appear to be some one he had met all to often, or maybe he had just not remembered her from passed meetings. Remus continued to stroll elegantly onward to where the two had been seen and came to a stop near them, "Mister Bruke..." came the words from Remus' mouth, his some what deep and calm velvet voice flowing. Remus browsed the girl for a moment, "I apologize for interrupting your chat here, I merely wished to give you this..." he said flicking his hand with a paper in it to the side, "Within that is some Information on Animagi, And if you remain to be interested please contact me..." he said flowing the words of smoothly, "I will sit and talk to you about them." he said with the cocky raise of an eyebrow. He then turned his attention to the other Girl, he knew who she was by her looks, "Hoshi Koshiba, If i am not mistaken... Yes, Words spreads of you around the school." he said in a clam manner, as he looked at her "Good to know Slytherins use their time well, as i did." nodded Remus as he looked at the two of them, "Yes... Well now, that is all..." he said as he pondered on the sport for a slight moment and strolled off out of the Dueling chamber and into the Halls; he was merely there to deliver Andrew a message, nothing more.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew smiled as he watched Hoshi practice the charm. He took it that Haruhi-san was her mother because obviously he didn't know much about Hoshi except that she was a third year, a prankster and of course a member in the Slytherin team. "You'll get it with a few tries..I" but he stopped as he saw Professor Firn come towards them.

"Hello Professor" he said with a smile and then heard what the Professor had to say. "Thank you so much for caring. I will surely go through it and then come to discuss it with you" he promised with a smile. He was happy to know that Professor Firn, whom he looked forward to, took interest in him, Andrew. "Thanks, once again" he said with a smile. He didn't know that Professor Firn was a Slytherin during school. This knowledge instrested him as he considered interviewing him next.

 

[Hoshi Icchihara]

The slight buzz that came into Hoshi's ears when a teacher started talking came back when Professor Frin came into the room and started to talk to Andrew. Hoshi contitued to try and cast the feather light spell as they talked though she had caught that Andrew was intresed in being an Animagi. Hoshi also caught her name. "Yes Professor Frin that's right." She said with a wide superstar smile. Hoshi assumed that by now there had to be a 'Beware of Koshiba' poster in the teacher's loung with the hair flashing colors because it never stayed one color for too long. She watched the Professor leave then turned back to her spell cast this time the book turning a shade of blue for a while before the color faided. Hoshi went up the small book and weighed it in her hand. Hoshi smiled. "Cool I did it!" She said.

 

[Andrew Bruke]

Andrew smiled as he watched Hoshi try the spell once again. "Well, that was faster than the time I took to learn it" he said with a grin. "Now let's try something heavier...um how about this table?" he asked indicating a small tea table that was placed at one corner. He summoned it and placed it before Hoshi "So are you going home for holidays?"he asked her curiously.

Andrew didn't know much about Hoshi but from the looks of her, she was supposed to be from Japan. "I am going to America with Jacob Cooper to Smokey mountains" he said with a smile as the thought about him being there after twenty four hours crossed his mind.
