Her style is very casual and relaxed, which she just calls comfy. She's good to go in an oversized shirt, jeans or sweatpants, and sneakers, despite her older sister's numerous attempts at making her more girly.
Personality:
Gemma tries to be a pretty carefree, happy kid despite some hardships her family has faced (her mother's death created some financial turmoil as well), but she feels like her father puts a lot of pressure on her to act older than she is because her older siblings are all grown up and pursuing their professions. Her siblings are constantly telling her what to do as well, to make life on their dad easier, and she just feels like she has so many expectations to meet and plans to make but she just wants to let loose and be a kid for once. Most of the time she bottles all this in, not trying to burden her family, but after one-too-many "Gemma that isn't very productive"s, sometimes she goes into her room and ends up blowing off the roof of her room. One time she even made it rain in her house for a week straight when her father told her she couldn't go out and play in the puddles with her friends. Her siblings all told her she was being childish (wow, a child being childish, what a crime), but it only fueled her storm more. She can be stubborn for immature reasons but after being "strong" for her family for so long, she just wants to be able to let loose for a little bit, just long enough to hopefully figure out what it is that she wants to do. She's so excited to go to Hogwarts away from the constant scrutiny and eyes on her to be a good child, because she knows she is a good child, but that doesn't mean she can't go out and have innocent, harmless fun every once in a while.

Daniel is originally from England and met Addison in Australia one summer when he was backpacking across the world world with his friends. He fell in love with her and vowed to return to Australia to marry her once he was done with his schooling. True to his word, he returned after graduating with his Bachelor's degree in law and made his move to Australia permanent, where he further continued his education there so he could be with Addison. It was a surprise for him when Addison revealed that she was a witch, because he had only read of ancient rumors of magic, but accepted her with no hesitation. A year later they were married, and had their first child the following year. Following Addison's death, a few years after their third and last child was born, Daniel wanted something to blame her suicide on, so he feels her job at the Ministry is responsible, for polluting her mind and weighing her down with such heavy things that she couldn't talk about. Because of this, he feels bitter and resentful towards magic, but his children are all skilled in the art and despite wanting to prevent it, he also didn't want them to resent him for that, so instead he makes sure they strive to excel at it and not let magic be their downfall too.

Addison was born in Australia to two magical parents so she knew all about magic growing up. She was incredibly smart and gifted and eventually became an Unspeakable in the Ministry of Magic. However, Addison had always battled depression all her life and though she loved her husband very much and their children, deep down Daniel could see her growing darker and darker. It was particularly bad whenever she would have heavy workloads, which she couldn't even unload her frustrations out on Daniel because she was forbidden from speaking about it (and a tongue-locker curse once when she tried immediately stopped her from ever trying to again). The deeper involved she got with her work, the worse she seemed to get; it was like she saw all the worst parts of humanity and the world, and couldn't seem to find any happiness left in it. A few years after Gemma was born, despite trying very hard to stick around for her youngest daughter, Addison couldn't seem to find joy within herself and thought her family would be better off without her negativity constantly putting a damper on them. She saw the way her husband constantly snuck glances at her worriedly and the way her children tried so hard to make her smile all the time, so Addison took her own life.

Chameleon (this falls under a weakness too because this means she doesn't know who she is); let's others tell her what to do and therefore can't think for herself, however once she makes her mind she is pretty darn stubborn; bottles things up so she has magical outbursts more often than most kids her age should

The beach because when she looks out at it, it seems endless and she feels like she's been sheltered all her life so she likes that about it.
Hogwarts Hopes and Ambitions:
Gemma hopes to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Her father is already pressuring her to figure out what profession she wants to go into and she honestly has no idea. It seems like her sister knew going into Hogwarts right away that she wanted to be the Minister for Magic, or Ministress, and her brother was so smart and great at Healing, she feels like she has such large shoes to fill. So during her time at Hogwarts she hopes she can just figure out what she's good at, if anything, and excel in it like she's supposed to.

Recently, her brother brought home a Pensieve that he borrowed from a co-worker and was so excited to show Gemma (and the rest of his family, but mostly Gemma). She saw him pull something out from his temple and pour it into the silver dish and told Gemma that she was about to see his favorite memories of their mother, which instantly made her catch her breath. She was too young to remember her mom at all really, and from what she had gathered, the last few years of her life hadn't been too happy, but Cadence assured her that for a brief moment after Gemma was born, she seemed like her old normal self again, so he wanted her to witness that.
Together she and her siblings entered the Pensieve and Gemma got to see her Mom alive one last time. It was a sunny day and they were all in their backyard; Cadence was flying his broomstick around the yard low enough so that the neighbors wouldn't see him and a one-year-old Gemma was chasing him as fast as her little legs could carry her, giggling the entire way. Mia was sitting in between their mom's legs as Addison braided the girl's hair, laughing and smiling as she watched them all. One-year-old Gemma fell and began to cry and immediately Cadence stumbled out of the air and off his broom, running to check on her, but their mother had beat them to her, scooping up the baby in her arms and throwing her up in the air to make her smile again, which happened instantaneously. Addison cuddled the baby close to her and ruffled the curly locks on Cadence's head to reassure him that he wasn't in any sort of trouble which made him smile in relief. After that Addison leans in to kiss his forehead and then kisses baby Gemma's cheeks as well, singing a little song to her and looking happier than present-Gemma had ever seen her in all their pictures.
That memory that her brother showed her, the fact that he shared it with her, is the memory she would use to make a Patronus.

Her boggart would be her father telling her that she is the biggest disappointment of the family and is a failure at life, but most importantly, that she was the reason for their mother's death.

She's fast and would love to be able to cross long distances fast.

Truthfully, Gemma would probably see her mother alive again and happy. If her mother were alive, she would also see her father happy and less stressed and worried than he is. She would also see her brother and sister be happier too because they wouldn't have had to deal with her loss as children and wouldn't have had to help their dad raise Gemma. They would all be more carefree and happier as a family.
