Growth for Zora was much more about plants than personal growth so she made her way to the gardens at first opportunity after she had heard that there was a garden on the Hogwarts grounds. She knew that she would want to take part in the planting of as many beautiful green plants as she could because at home her garden was mostly food and less for the beauty of them so it would be great for her to have the opportunity to grow things just because she wanted to. Zora didn’t know much about magical ecosystems so she would have to admit her ignorance as far as what the gardens would produce on such a magical place like Hogwarts or if it was all essentially the same so she brought a journal and a quill to write her thoughts down about the soil, about the condition, about what was already growing there if any. Obviously being that it was winter she wasn’t sure if there would be anything or if the plants were charmed to survive in the cold, or even if the garden had a green-house like protection around them. These were all questions she had but no one to ask as of yet. In truth, she could arrive and see nothing save some trees. She hoped for the best though.
Zora put a big, lumpy jumper on that had been her brother’s before it was hers and made her way there, curious as ever as to what she might find. She expected that she would be there on her own so she was not surprised to find this being the case. There was a dusting of snow on the ground as she made her way there so she really would expect to only see Hebe and maybe a few other winter-survivng plants but she could still look around and maybe just maybe peak into the greenhouses. Zora pushed her curls behind her ears and looked around, noting that she saw Skimmia with it’s vibrant red berries. She was glad to see it instead of something as invasive as Evergreen Buckthorn. Someone was doing something right, she observed.
