It was getting closer to Christmas, and the weather was improving. Clara Antolini had spent most of her winter days inside, and she was having a day where she actually felt like going outside. Of course she had used her whole morning up by sleeping, but she figured it would do her some good to get some fresh air and sunshine. Clara packed a couple of books and quills into her small backpack, and started down the stairs towards the Lawn. As she left the castle, Clara squinted slightly as the glare of the sun shone in her eyes. It was a nice feeling, having the sun on her skin, the winter days had made her forget what it felt like. Hugging her poncho closer to her chest against the wind, Clara moved forward, keeping to the side so she didn't get into anyone's way. The blonde had bumped into people before, and hated being scolded by them. In her five years at Hogwarts, she had learnt how to stay out of the way. Of course she had learnt more than just that, but that was an important rule to her. Other people didn't seem to care about the rule as much as she did. Other people just walked as they pleased, and it bothered Clara how inconsiderate some people could be.
Clara had luckily found a lonesome tree that she could lean against. She made sure that she was still in the sun, and she took her poncho off, beginning to feel the sun's warmth. The Hufflepuff placed it down on the ground, and sat on it so her pants wouldn't get dirty. Before opening her backpack, Clara leaned against the tree, closing her eyes and enjoying the brightness before she had to get started on her homework.
