🌹 Rose Giving Friendship is never an accident

One rose down. eight left to go. it was almost lunch time and Ivy knew she needed make up time. otherwise she would miss out. the one she had already delivered was a fluke in the hall between classes. so now she decided to try and get some given out over lunch so that she didnt have to spend alll afternoon chasing enigmas. she was lucky a few of the people on her list were quidditch players. so she recognised them even if she hadnt actually spoken to them before. entering the great hall in the middle of the lunch rush she walked along the Hufflepuff table until she spotted one of them. "umm, Hello Noah." she said as she approached. "I'm Ivy, I've got a rose for you" she said.

Noah was starving. He couldn't wait until lunch was served and he could just eat. He'd been doing homework the whole morning, and he decided he'd probably take the rest of the day off, as he'd been working hard lately. Maybe he'd go play quidditch with Summer again, or something. Or see what Zara was up to. He rubbed his hands together when food appeared on the table and his hand reached for a roll of bread, except he was interrupted by a young voice trying to get his attention. Noah tried to ignore the persistent rumbling in his stomach and he turned to the owner of the voice, noticing it was a girl who...was holding a rose. "Oh," he said, surprised. "Um, thanks Ivy," he gave the girl a warm smile, wondering who on earth would give him a rose.​

The boy seemed to be in his own daydream. at least that it what it seemed like to ivy as it took hi ma second to land like he was just waking up and only slowly realising that she had been talking to him and processed what she had said. "you are welcome" she said.smiling and holding out the rose and a note.
