Arvel raised a hand, lowered it, raised it again, scratched his forehead, and then finally knocked on Geo's door. Cradled in the other arm was a carton of orange juice, which was the only thing he'd been able to scavenge from the kitchens at short notice, and which, in hindsight, was probably a weirder thing to bring than nothing at all. Crap. She probably wouldn't even remember him. The problem was, in the unlikely event that she did, it would be very awkward if he didn't at least say hello.​

Another semester, another year of getting to know a new batch of students. Geo was always excited around this time of year, and she was putting in some finishing touches to her office for those that wanted to visit. There were a few students that had now moved to be taught by Professor Cade, but that didn't stop Geo wanting to make sure they felt welcome to talk to her too.

Hearing a knock at her door, although it was a little early in the year for a student to be visiting, the blonde whipped open the door with such enthusiasm, it was good to know she could trust the hinges. The person on the other side however wasn't a face she expected to see, Merlin he wasn't even a face she'd seen for.. fifteen years? "Arvel?" Geo thought for a moment, trying to piece things together. They'd played on the Hufflepuff team together, she was sure. He'd been friends with Analei too, another Auror and Hufflepuff from her old job. "What are you.. " she found herself a little dumbstruck, "Are you teaching here?" She hoped he was, it would be nice to have another familiar face around the castle.
