Casper had spent the last break at his uncles house, no longer welcome in his own home. He was fairly sure his uncle was fighting with his dad, but right now, until he denounced his art, his dad was mad at him. Casper sighed, knowing already that would never happen. He had actually spent all morning on a painting of sunlight filtering in through the window by his bed. It was soft and warm and he was really proud of the painting. Which, of course, meant he really wanted to give it to Alex. Casper went out looking for his friend, one of the few he had. He lit up as he spotted his friend and hurried over, ducking and weaving through the crowd. "Alex? Alex!" Cas called.
