Friends and a Love Interest

Meera Gupta is my second character on HNZ and I have great plans and plots for her in mind which will unfold in the coming years Meera's parents are King and Queen of a city named Rajkot in Gujrat State of India. The throne however has been taken away by her father's step brother. It happened when Meera was two months old and such wickedness was used and betrayals were made by Meera's step uncle to get the throne for himself. All of Meera's relatives were killed but as Meera's mother, Radhika was a witch she saved her family which includes her father, mother, brother and a man named Arjun. Meera does not know how she is related to Arjun but he has trained her as she grew up in using swords and archery.

Meera attends Beauxbatons in France and her family lives in Paris trying to hide and live as muggles until Meera becomes eighteen. Thats when they will go back to get their throne. Meera's father(who is the King) is now a Professor who teaches in the University in France and her mother(Queen) is a house wife. Meera has a younger brother. Arjun lives with them too. Despite hiding they are very rich as they had taken enough treasure with them for their survival.

Other than archery and sword fighting, Meera knows how to play the piano, swimming, painting, cooking and how to play the 'sitar' which is an Indian Musical Instrument. She can speak Hindi, Gujrati, English but is most fluent in French. She is a vegetarian and is currently in her fourth year in Beauxbatons. Meera has been taught to trust no one with the secret of her heritage and this is the reason why she chooses her friends very carefully and does not easily let her guard down.

Meera is very pretty and smart and has a very powerful memory power. She is prefect and loves Qudditch. She has excellent choice in fashion and she considers people who are not good at wearing the clothes that are in style or branded items to be lame and below her class. She never makes friends with such people. She also has a tatoo on her back that she always hides because it would reveal her identity.

What I need for her:

~Two or three friends who will be her close friends preferably from Beauxbatons. She might take time to open up but once she makes friends she is loyal to them and friendly. She will however never reveal the fact about her being a Princess.
~A love interest/ crush. She has had a fair list of people who have asked her out before but she has never been interested in any of the guys before. The guy needs to be patient and please her and be loyal so that she can trust him enough to date him.

I have a suggestion. I have Tara Sitara. she is a sixth year hufflepuff and I think she could be a friend for Meera. Tara is originally from India and spends the summer (although it is technically winter) holiday there with her family. the rest of the time she is in new zealand with school. her family isn't that well off, not by a long stretch, especially as she and her fiancé at the time broke off the arranged engagement they had, and although the only term she put down for doing so was that he would continue to support her family like his family had been doing for seven years prior she would like to be able to support them herself.
anyway why is this relevant?
Tara would be looking for a job and maybe she could spend the holidays being sort of a maid/cleaner/cook/whatever for the gupta's. and then from there she and Meera could slowly become friends.
She is sweet bubbly and friendly. her motto is to always put others before her self starting out with her family. her one passion is art, and could spend hours painting and sketching. though in the last year and a bit she had grown rather fond of cooking as she is thinking of owning a cafe when she leaves school. she speaks english though at home she would speak hindi and sanskrit. she too is also a vegetarian as that is how she was bought up and would not now go against her hindu religion.

Your idea sounds very good. Tara could be a cook at the Gupta's house because keeping her as a maid sounds sad to me. And as the Gupta's are very nice maybe they could offer her some finance later for her to start her own restaurant/cafe.

I am planning to transfer Meera to Hogwarts next year (if she gets accepted ). Then she would have someone she knows there already. Tara will be in her seventh year then right?

Wish we could start RPing right away. How about Meera visiting New Zealand or something when the Brightstone village opens and meets Tara and they become friends and she also promises to help her with the job etc?

That is a good idea. How about they start a couple of letters. I could start with Tara sending a couple of letters to praneil wondering if he could see if she could find a job. then they could send a few letters getting to know each other a little.
Tara will be a seventh year next year. what year will she be transferring into fifth?

Sorry. Praneil was the man she was engaged to but they broke it off, but as a condition to her agreeing to break it off he promised to help support her and her family.
