The second semester of her second year dragged on as Rebekah slowly settled into the routine of school life. Not that their seemed much life at the school at the moment. Exam's would quickly be upon them, and Rebekah took the good weather as a perfect sign for a break from all the studying she should have been doing. She strolled with no purpose, barely seeing anyone as she trekked from the lower depths of the dungeons to the courtyard, she'd hardly seen any of her own family since starting here, but that wasn't really anything new, ever since her stupid sister Ilsa had been caught pregnant by god knows who, life at home had become a lot more tense especially with the Zhefarovich's hanging around lot more.

She'd barely noticed it last year, but since the "alliance" she'd found that a lot more of the Zhefarovich brood were at Hogwart's than she thought. While she had known they were a large family, she hadn't truly anticipated how often they were just "there", in her house, in the corridors, even her freaking prefects were of their blood. It was horrid. Rebekah tried to avoid them while at school, home life was more of a problem, trying to excuse herself from the holidays had been met with a stubborn no from her sister Emilee, who had, last year, been the only one around Hogwarts that wasn't meticulously boring.

The only relatively interesting thing to have come from this year was the older boy in her house dying by falling in the lake, a feat she'd imagined could only really have happened to Avie Mitchell, but wouldn't have felt so bad if it had happened to somebody else. She did feel somewhat sorry for the Snow boy who'd been his best-friend, but sorrow was for chumps, and the only really way of dealing with something was to get over it or get rid of it. Advice she herself was trying to follow.

She'd barely seen her other sister's Florence and Fiona, but if she did happen to come across either of them, she'd quite happily talk to them at least, even if it was to tell them how much she disliked the twins. It was with this happy thought that Rebekah sat down in the courtyard and watched the sun slowly set.
