[Restless | Positive Energy | A Fight on Your Hands]

Spending time out on the beach with her friends, making plans to save the world one day, learning new tricks on her skateboard.</COLOR>
Likes finding the most sour candy in the store, having a positive attitude, ignoring people who don't agree with her opinions.
Dislikes feeling powerless to help others, being forced to talk about things she'd rather not, having her thoughts dismissed by others.
[Strengths] Frankie has absolutely no problem expressing herself and staying true to her convictions of what is 'the right thing to do.'
[Weaknesses] Often follows her principles with no consideration of how those close to her may be impacted by her actions.
[Hopes] That one day she'll be someone who can shape the changes of the world to make it better for everyone who lives in it.
[Fears] That one day her black moods will result in her breaking something that can never be fixed; not speaking up when it might result in a change.
Frankie usually wears her blonde hair loose or in a ponytail, but does sometimes put in the effort to braid it [Hair]
Strangely, Frankie often forgets the colour of her own eyes - green - and will tell people to stare into them in order to remember [Eyes]
Frankie finds that her tall and skinny stature comes in handy with many of her more active pursuits [Build]
Comfortable in bright t-shirts and denim short-shorts; Frankie will spend just as much time in her swimwear as normal clothes [Style]
With many scars on her knees from skateboarding incidents, Frankie thinks of them as cool stories to be told [Other Features]
[THE STREET MARCHER]
Swinging a fist, a sign, a chant, she's screaming for you to know the injustice.
Those who meet Frankie always almost immediately notice the straightforward and blunt approach she takes to the world around her. Never satisfied with saying less than she means, you can always depend on Frankie to give her honest opinion of something and to do exactly as she has promised. A big believer in positive vibes leading to a positive life, Frankie avoids the drama she sees arising between others - although she won't hesitate to confront others face-to-face when she perceives a problem in the way they treat others or herself. Although she usually leads a spontaneous, pleasant life, Frankie's high intensity moods can be too much for her when she is angry or sad, and her inability to control her emotions in such situations isn't something she likes about herself.

Such intensity, whether it is the result of a good or a bad mood, is often the cause of tensions Frankie faces with the people in her life. Because she doesn't tend to care what other people think of her, Frankie doesn't often consider how her actions may affect others and can find it difficult to understand why they don't want to take part in a certain activity, or think about things in the same way that she does. Usually she deals with these situations by leaving the person to themselves, but if she is more invested in them she can become frustrated or upset at their lack of agreement. Frankie can often be more apologetic to strangers than the people she knows well, but once she has decided she doesn't like someone it takes a lot to change her mind - if at all.

Once she has made a friend, however, she will stand by that person for life... provided that they don't pose a major conflict to her principles of right and wrong. Frankie is highly protective of the people she cares about, and nothing is considered to be too much in her defense of them. Seeing her friends and family happy and doing things that excite them is something she strives towards, and will often surprise people with events and invitations for the purpose of going out and living life. She can also be highly welcoming and friendly to strangers, going out of her way to help or defend them from negative situations she spots them in.

[TILLINGTON & MOORE]
I couldn't be happier with the family I have.

Despite spending the majority of her life thus far living in Los Angeles, California, Frankie is English by birth and spent the first four years of her life in London. Due to her young age she has few memories of this time. Her early years were spent with her parents Henry and Liberty Tillington, and her younger sister Gabriella. The two girls were quite close in age, a decision (though originally meant to try and re-bond their parents failing marriage) that only served to place more stress on the situation that had been brought about by Henry and Libby's fast-paced relationship and differing lifestyle attitudes. Stifled by the expectations of a traditional marriage and family, Libby divorced Henry and moved back to California where she had grown up, taking the louder and more energy-demanding Frankie with her. Raised with practically no mention of her father and sister, other than the fact of their existence, Frankie rarely dwells on the thought of them - partly because she is so often engaged in other more immediate aspects of her life, and partly because she doesn't like the negative emotions that thinking about their absence evokes.

Frankie's extended family is small; she knows nothing of her father's side of the family, and though on her mother's side there are various great-aunts, -uncles and second cousins dotted around the state, they are practically strangers to Frankie. Instead, her family is made up of a vibrant number of her mother's close friends whom they both visit and spend time with frequently.

With her mother as the primary person in her life, Frankie is closer to her than anyone else she has met. Libby always had a freer hand in raising her daughter than might be considered conventional, and often encouraged her to explore the world around her and form her own opinion of it. It is from her mother that Frankie has inherited a lot of her ideas about positivity and living beyond the constraints of a conventional life, and she often strives to take actions that she knows her mother would approve of. Of her father and sister she had no overwhelming opinion growing up, although she had always imagined that she would go to London and meet them someday. Since discovering her sister at school, Frankie has become increasingly enthused to reconnect with the two now that the possibility is much more easily within her grasp.

[CURRENTLY]
Of course I'm having a great time in New Zealand, as if it would be any other way.
</COLOR>
Frankie is halfway through her second year at Hogwarts New Zealand, and has been having a really enjoyable time at school to date. Being of an appropriate age to try out for the house quidditch team, Frankie begged her mother to let her have a broom as an early birthday present and was allowed to take it to school with the proviso that she could only keep it with her if she managed to make it onto the team. Thankfully for her, Frankie managed to do so and proudly took on the title of Alternate Gryffindor Chaser, although she has yet to make an appearance in an official school match. She has spent most of the rest of her time struggling unconcernedly with her school-work, and continuing to bond with her friends and sister, the latter being something she is extremely grateful about.

[CHILDHOOD]
If you make the best of every day, you're going to have a really good life.

Francesca Eleanor Tillington was born at 2:41am on Wednesday, the 27th of October in London, England. Physically, the pregnancy had been relatively easy for Libby, if not always such smooth sailing mentally and emotionally. Conceiving under the circumstances of a fledgling but serious relationship was difficult for the woman only in terms of the traditional expectations of her partner Henry's family, and she was pleased for both her new husband's sake and the baby's that there were no serious complications involved in the birthing process. The new arrival was surprisingly calm after being thrust into her new surroundings, and any small doubts that had begun to take place in Libby's mind over the last couple of months about whether or not she could truly commit to this life were obliterated completely as she took in her young daughter's small features. Having had a name already decided upon early in the pregnancy, the new parents were proud to announce the arrival of a girl with the traditional name of Francesca - a name Libby already knew she would inevitably shorten to a suitable nickname.

As a toddler, Frankie soon grew to be a rather loud and energetic sort of individual, a personality that amused her mother and confounded her father in equal measure. Soon joined by a sister younger than her by only ten months, Frankie thrived on the attention and love she felt herself surrounded with within her small family and subconsciously used it to support her ever-growing confidence to explore the world around her. Such excursions frequently found her getting into all sorts of unexpected trouble, although she never seemed quite so concerned with such events as wandering into a garden pond after some koi fish as her parents did. Throughout this time she also maintained a very encouraging and protective manner over her younger sister, although the two girls did also dissolve into arguments typical of young children in close quarters from time to time.

Following her move to America at the age of four, accompanied only by her mother, Frankie was initially excited about the chance to visit new places - although she was confused by the fact that Daddy and Gabby had not come with them. It took a while to understand and accept, but Libby was always upfront and gentle in explaining the decision across varying levels of child understanding over the next several years, and Frankie soon discovered that it was best not to dwell on thoughts of the separation as they often made her feel too upset to function in the way she wished to. Preferring to stay active, happy and cheerful, Frankie lived out the rest of childhood in much the same way she had as a toddler - always exploring, always trying new things and always determined to enjoy her life as best she could. She tended to greet new people with a smile, and never quite lost the protective streak she had first maintained during her early years spent with her younger sister.

Keep a positive mind and you'll have an awesome experience.
Excited by attending school abroad in a country she'd never been to, Frankie absolutely paid more attention to making friends and creating lasting memories than focusing on her academic work. The most eventful aspect of attending school in another country, however, wasn't anything to do with meeting foreigners or exploring adventurous parts of the castle - it was coming face to face with someone she had barely ever expected to meet again... her sister, Gabriella. The two girls got off to kind of a rocky start, as their personalities repelled one another in the short time they had to speak before becoming aware of their true relationship. Having the same last name, it was the Sorting Ceremony that brought this fact to light for them, and both girls found themselves in the Owlery the next day, writing to their respective parents. The reunion was stilted, rather than joyous, and though Frankie would have loved to get to know her sister better, she realised that it was fair to give the other girl time to process her feelings on the matter.

CURRICULUM VITAE
</COLOR>
[CEDAR & PHOENIX TAIL FEATHER]
Curved, 13 1/2 Inches, Sturdy
Having lived in Los Angeles for most of her known life, it was only natural that Frankie would buy her wand there once the time came for her to require doing so. Despite expecting her mother to take her to one of the more modern wizarding supply stores they tended to frequent, she didn't complain as they entered a place that claimed to sell more traditional British-esque wands to its customers - her mother had barely ever steered her wrong before, and after all, the older woman pointed out, Frankie had in fact been born in England. Taking to the wand discovery process with gusto, she soon forgot that she was in the store to match and purchase the perfect wand and instead enjoyed each of the various explosions and breakages that occurred around her, revelling in seeing evidence of the most magic she had ever managed to 'perform.' Taken by surprise when a wand finally decided to choose her, Frankie nevertheless bonded with it very quickly, eager to get started on the newest chapter of her life.

[WOOD] CEDAR</COLOR>
'You will never fool the Cedar carrier' - wielders of a Cedar wand have great strength of character and excellent perception of the motives of others.
It wasn't long into the selection process that it was discovered a wand made of Cedar wood would work quite well for Frankie, something that would have hardly been surprising to anyone who might have wished to make a study of the two. Sensing a strong similarity with the girl in both of its core aspects, the wood provides no extra talent or skill to Frankie's wand but instead greatly enhances the ease with which she works with both it and her spell-work to achieve the best results.

[tr][td][CORE] PHOENIX TAIL FEATHER
Phoenix tail feathers are not easy to come by. The animal is known for its versatility, making wands with this core useful for wand casters who seek to become good with different types of magic.
Although Frankie certainly didn't seek such a valuable element for a wand core, she is nevertheless pleased with the idea of a fiery bird that rejuvenates itself endlessly being part of her wand's magical signature. Despite being unaware of the properties this core carries, Frankie's innate talent for active magic is heavily supported and conditioned by the the phoenix feather element, allowing her greater ease of achievability when performing spells.

[/td][/tr][tr][td][STYLE] CURVED
Bending to its side, this wand is more difficult to aim than its straighter counterparts but provides character that some simply cannot pass by.
Frankie has no special opinion of her wand's appearance, but is favourable of its less than usual shape. Gladly taking it's bent line as a challenge, she enjoys the fact that if someone were to take her wand in a duel they would likely have trouble trying to aim it properly - if they could manage to get it off her at all, she opinions.

[/td][/tr][tr][td][LENGTH] 13 1/2 INCHES
A strange length for a wand and a number which symbolizes misfortune.
Although no doubt a handy match in terms of Frankie's build, she barely thinks about the length of her wand or what it might symbolise and is only thankful that it's curved nature actually shortens the straight-line horizontal length of the wand, as otherwise she would find it the slightest bit too long for drawing out of her robe pocket in a hurry.

[/td][/tr][tr][td][FLEXIBILITY] STURDY
A solid wand for any witch or wizard - easy to use, and highly dependable.
Although the wand wood and core work most predominantly to help Frankie do reasonably well in her efforts at spell-work, the flexibility of the cedar also plays a positive role in this regard. Its sturdiness leaves it well equipped to deal with Frankie's vivaciousness and immediacy of nature, and provides a solid base through which to channel each of her magical wishes and whims as they arrive.

[HOGWARTS NEW ZEALAND]
It's a chance to see a different part of the world.
Living in America, Frankie grew up hearing mostly about Ilvermorny while she was in wizarding circles, and was already quite certain of her status as a future Wampus. Therefore when her mother announced that she would instead be attending the Hogwarts off-shoot in New Zealand, Frankie was understandably confused. She soon took to the idea, however, seeing the decision as an opportunity to expand and explore her horizons and thus remaining unaware that her mother had always planned on sending her that particular school for purely sentimental reasons - primarily, Libby was sure that Henry would have liked to have seen his daughter enrolled in Hogwarts, but was unable to send Frankie to Britain as it would infringe upon the conditions of their separation agreement. Sorted into the house of Gryffindor, Frankie is less interested in the academic side of the school and is keen to meet new people, do new things, and enjoy her time down at the bottom of the world.

Favoured Academic Discipline:
[ul][li]Although not intently focused upon improving her magical skill beyond what she would require on a day to day basis, Frankie finds she prefers to focus on subjects that are more to the point, such as Defence Against the Dark Arts and Flying.[/li][/ul]Magical Skills:
[ul][li]Due to Frankie's 'take-action' personality, her magic responds more favourably to offensive spells and other types of active magic.

[li]In opposition to this, she finds that more passive forms of magic don't agree with her at all, such as that found in Potions and Divination. She runs into trouble just attempting to work her way through anything involving such magic.[/li][/ul]
[FIRST YEAR]
Astronomy · P
Never having been particularly interested in the stars before, nothing about Frankie's Astronomy lessons sparked any greater interest in her. She didn't pay a lot of attention to the mass of information spouted out to the class in lectures, and wished there could have been more practical star-gazing lessons to at least give her something interesting to do in class. Un-invested in the subject as she was, Frankie never quite got around to studying for her end-of-year exam and as such did very poorly despite the relative simplicity of the questions asked.

Charms · A · 1 (A) ( · 4
Frankie always enjoyed her Charms lessons, favouring the practical element each class threw itself into rather than wasting time reading about the spells they ended up learning. She never read her textbook any further than the information on the wand movement and incantation, but her natural talent for active magic buoyed her spell-work efforts enough to learn each charm satisfactorily without expending a large amount of effort practicing the spells outside of class.

Defence Against the Dark Arts · E · 1 · 4 · 5 · 6
<COLOR color="#000">While Frankie was happy enough to learn the subject matter of Defence Against the Dark Arts, she wished she could have had a professor a little more lax in his teaching methods than Professor Styx. Working better by communicating with others and taking in information aurally, rather than being expected to write essays, Frankie nevertheless managed to retain enough information to satisfy the theoretical aspects of the course and did far better with the two spells the class were expected to learn.

Flying · O · 1 (A) ( (C ) · 2 · 3 · 4 · 5 (A) ( · 6
Her undisputed favourite class of the semester, Frankie participated in each flying lesson with enthusiasm and an above-average level of skill. While she supported the couple of students who continued to refuse to fly throughout the course, Frankie felt no such qualms herself and was always happy to stay in the air as long as possible. She looked out for her sister in each lesson as well, although tried to give her space whenever it looked like Gabriella wanted to be left alone to work out her mid-air difficulties on her own.

Herbology · P
Although Frankie enjoyed the practical aspects of the class, she neglected to take proper notes and study effectively for the end-of-year exam, resulting in a poor final grade. Nevertheless, she very much enjoyed her time working with the tools, planting and magically growing pumpkins, and learning about mistletoe on a walk through the forest, and doesn't in any way believe that one letter could tell anyone anything about her knowledge and dedication to the aspects of gardening and plant-care she's familiar with.

History of Magic · P
Frankie made no pretense of how much this class failed to interest her, and although she never purposely disrupted the class she spent many of the long lectures tapping her pen, hands and feet as the torturously long time dragged on. Her notes were always largely incomplete at best, non-existent at worst, and her textbook was never even cracked open the entire time she owned it. This all lead to deciding not to bother studying for the exam, and thus a complete failure of it - not that Frankie was concerned by this at all.

Potions · P · 1
Although Frankie had fun in her first lesson of Potions, the remainder of her time in the class was largely boring and focused too much on theoretical work for her liking. Despite finding the professor's method of rhyming as a teaching aide funny and helpful, it only remained the latter for the time it took the professor to sing the song as Frankie soon forgot most of the words, and mixed up most of those she did remember. She thought it might be fun to try brewing a potion to break up the monotony, but wasn't as heavily disappointed that it wasn't part of the first-year curriculum as some others.

Transfiguration · P
Though Frankie was initially in favour of learning the art of Transfiguration, she was soon put off by the amount and intensity of theoretical information that came with it. Paying less attention to the lectures than she should have, she wasn't prepared for the extra skill Transfiguration spells required and so struggled slightly to achieve the same quick results she had experienced in Charms during the last semester. Continuing to focus on improving her spell-work over the rest of the course led her to neglect the other studying required, and she ended the year with another bad grade.

[SECOND YEAR]

Astronomy · P
Frankie spent much of her second year of Astronomy in the same way she had done her first, barely paying attention to the information in lectures and instead spending her time doodling and attempting to pass notes with her friends, much to the consternation of her sister, Gabriella, with whom she shared the class and saw her doing so more times than she would wish. Even when Frankie tried to pay attention, or do something that vaguely resembled studying, she found the material too confusing to follow, and ended up failing the course once more, effectively ending her further tutelage in Astronomy at Hogwarts.

Herbology · E · 2 · 3 · 4 · 5
As Frankie's second year of Herbology focused on the raising of Mandrake seedlings, she spent far more time engaging in practical work in class, and thus emerged from the course with a far better grade to show for her efforts than she had done the previous year. While her dislike for writing meant she never particularly relished the act of recording her actions in a journal, Frankie enjoyed seeing her 'Plantdrake' thrive - though she surely vexed some of the others around her with her refusal to gender the plants, as asked to do so in one of their later classes.

History of Magic · P
Once more, the subject matter and nature in which Frankie's classes were conducted didn't lead her to feeling very excited or enthused to continue trying to engage in her history studies beyond turning up to class. Her notes were basic, and her essays poorly constructed and lacking in the crucial descriptive and explanatory aspects required for the necessary passing marks - not to mention that they always wavered on the side of being too short in word count. Frankie was never particularly bothered by this lack of talent for dealing with words, and is heartily glad that she won't have to continue with the subject any further.

Transfiguration · A · 3 · 5
<COLOR color="#000">Although the theory continued to confuse her, Frankie found the focus on two new types of Transfiguration involving animation to be rather exciting, and enjoyed practicing with both of them constantly in order to be able to perform each to an acceptable standard. Once she had gotten this far in her own estimation, however, she made no effort to try perfecting her skill in any way, being content to just plateau at actually being able to get the spells to work.
