[Open to all 4th years after Sofija posts with Kaia!]
In his own humble opinion the get together Zay had hosted for his classmates last year had been a succes. Sure, there had been room for improvement on several fronts but the most important thing was that people had shown up. Which, according to him, meant they had to either like him enough to show up or just had nothing better to do. Or perhaps they had other reasons. Whatever it had been he didn't care. They had shown up and things had been fun. This year though, this year things were going to be way better. Zay had debated hosting the meeting outside this year, the sun was out and the weather was better than it had been last time around, yet had eventually decided against it. Not because he didn't think it wouldn't be as much fun outside but because it would be far easier for his classmates to realize how much better the event would be this year if they were in the same place. There would be no wet tables this time around and certainly no complimentary salads. None of the sorts. This time he had actually tried to be organized about it, put some thought into it. Something he knew he likely wouldn't have managed on his own, which was why he had happily accepted Kaia's help. If things had been different he would've gone straight to Wes, given him a chance to redeem himself for the wet tables, but since they aren't talking that wasn't exactly and option.

Zay had cleaned up the room a bit with Kaia's help, pushing most of the tables to the sides of the room and stacking up some chairs he was sure they wouldn't use to clear some space. They had made sure most of the dust in the room had been cleaned up by using a simple spell and had even managed to put up some party garlands in an effort to make the room seem more fun. It was still a classroom after all. He had left his friend in charge of a few other things they had planned beforehand, such as music, and left to get the snacks and drinks he had managed to collect. Something that had cost him his allowance for a good couple of months to come, even if the woman at Honeydukes had been nice enough to give him a discount. He was sure it would be worth it though. There was no way this year's invitation would include the words 'bring your own snacks', that much was for certain. "Right." Zay grinned as he placed the Honeydukes selection box on one of the tables along with some other snacks he had gotten from his dads simply because they had been impressed he was actually thinking something through. "That should be it, I guess." He said as he placed the drinks on the adjacent table before walking over to Kaia and hopping onto one of the tables to sit. "Those are awesome, by the way." He nodded towards the few bean bags Kaia's cousin had brought from home by shrinking them and had helped return to their size right here. He was keen to just let himself sink into one of those rather than to sit on top of a table but he reckoned he should be visible for anyone walking into the room. He was the host after all and he wouldn't be himself if he didn't want people to know.

They were back at the school for some moment now and Kaia had went all in to help Zay with hosting their years hangout, hopefully without all the mistakes. For Kaia it was a bit of a challange since she always stayed in the school with her mom for Christmas breaks, however, she managed to find the best ways how to get everything they needed for the hangout. She had asked Kiara to bring bean bags and Kaia's cousin did what she was asked, they had bean bags in the abandoned classroom just so not everyone had to sit on the chairs, they could do that all the time in the classrooms. Even more, music was on Kaia and well, everyone knew that she totally wasn't musical so no live music, except if only Zay decided to play something. Kaia didn't have anything of that sort in mind, she just had an enchanted radio that played only the most popular music that was made a bit louder with help of magic, still, it wasn't loud enough for people not to hear each other, it was a hangout rather than a party.

When they were all done with getting ready, Kaia just fastly checked her outfit, makeup and hair. No way she was gonna help make the room look amazing and not look amazing herself. They were duet of extremely attractive organizers. And when Zay started talking, Kaia was just laying in one of the bean bags while twirling her curls in more organized mess with her fingers and then checking her manicure that was matching with her outfit. "I know right?" she keenly smiled at him when he said that her bean bags were cool. "It's gonna be amazing, everything looks amazing," Kaia excitedly chuckled at Zay before looking around once more to check if everything looked really good. "And we look amazing too," she joked once more. "How was your break, mister host?" she teasingly offered a question to start a convo.

Coming back to school after the holidays was always a bit of a bummer. Salem felt restricted after the freedom of being out of school, even if she wasn't allowed to travel out of New Zealand as much as she had when she was a kid. She had gotten to spend the holidays mostly with Aubrey and she supposed getting more time with her back at the castle was still a bonus for being back in class. There was also apparently a party happening in one of the unused classes which also sounded a lot more fun than working on homework so Salem was keen to come.

"Hey cool, it looks great in here," Salem said, impressed as she poked her head into the classroom and took in the decorations Isaiah and Kaia had set up. "Ohh, beanbags!" She grinned, dropping into one of the ones by Kaia and shuffling around loudly to try and get settled.

In all honesty... Valencia was not really excited to be back at school. She was glad to be back home for the small break, spending time with her family and catching up with her friends. She really preferred the muggle life over this... magical world which was honestly not for her. When Valencia had heard that there was gonna be another gathering for her year, she had decided yet again to go to this one. She didn't really have many friends around school, and she guessed that going to any event she could go to would possibly help her have some friends around her.

The Ravenclaw girl slowly made her way inside the classroom, realising that she was one of the first people to have arrived, but it was obviously a bit too late to turn back and just come back a little later. She waved awkwardly to her other classmates. "Hey," Valencia says with a small smile. She did notice one of the bean bags that were in the room and didn't think twice before face planting into the bean bag, not caring what the others think. She then turned around after a moment, sitting properly in the bean bag, the loud bean bag, may I add. "This is awesome!" Valencia says with a bright smile, as she tapped onto the bean bags.

Jordie was absolutely terrified of this gathering, and he was absolutely doing his best to hide it. He'd spent hours perfecting this look, sending notes to every single one of his best friends that he could think of to go with him. He'd even picked up Branson to go in with him. Jordie knew that Nate could be here, that the last time he'd come here he'd met Nate again, and he knew that Nate would probably be with whoever that girl was he'd been seeing. Jordie was doing his best to act cool, smiling and walking straight to Isaiah. "You summoned us," Jordie smirked, doing a bit of a mock bow.

Branson wasn't sure they were supposed to be having parties, but he was still keen to go. It was an important thing to be able to spend time with his friends and to socialise and spend more time with them. It helped that Jordie had invited him to come with him, and somewhat needing the distraction away from Blair, he was quite keen. He met up with Jordie and then went with him to the abandoned classroom. He felt a little underdressed in comparison to Jordie, since he hadn't put much effort into his outfit. He smiled at isaiah and waved at him. "Hey man," he greeted after Jordie.

Isaiah was pretty keen on how everything had turned out this year. Things definitely looked better than they had last time and the bean bags were a nice extra touch. "I mean we always do, but sure." He laughed when Kaia said they both looked good before giving a small shrug at her question. "Nothing too special, mostly busy trying to convince my dads to give me my allowance for the next few months early so I could buy stuff for today." He responded with a grin. Hopefully it would all be worth it.

Zay grinned when slowly but surely his classmates started to walk into the room, giving both Salem and Valencia a nod in greeting. He laughed when both of them went straight for the beanbags, a little surprised when Valencia face planted right into it. She always seemed a little quiet so he certainly hadn't expected her to draw attention to herself like that. "Right? They're the coolest." He responded excitedly. "Kaia's cousin got them for us." He added, nodding towards Kaia.

He perked up a little when some of his friends entered the room, grin widening when Jordie mocked a bow in greeting. "Glad you guys came." He laughed as he greeted Jordie and Bran, spreading his arms to gesture around the room. "Make yourself at home. There's snacks, drinks. Definitely no salads or wet tables." Zay emphasized, wanting to make sure his friends and classmates noticed the improvements to his hang out this year.

Louis knew many people in his grade liked to organise parties, and perhaps this was a good thing in order to help Louis make some more friends. When he saw that the fourth years were all going to hang out again, part of him felt obliged to go, and the other part slightly looked forward to it in hopes that he wouldn't miss out on anything exciting. The boy didn't arrive too quickly, as he didn't want to draw attention to himself. He entered the room when the party was already underway, slipping himself into the crowd before then heading over to the snacks table. Everyone already seemed to be in conversation which made everything perfect.

The invitation to hang out in the abandoned classroom had come as a complete shock. It had been months since Zay had spoken to him, and Weston was starting to think he would never get to talk to the Gryffindor again. Despite Weston's best efforts, Zay had remained steadfast in his silence. It was like the situation with Eoin all over again, except worse. At least Eoin still acknowledged his presence. After losing two friends in quick succession, Weston had started to wonder if there was something wrong with him, if it was only a matter of time before his other friends ditched him too.

But then the note had arrived, and with it came a rush of hope. It didn't matter that the invitation was impersonal or that an identical copy had likely been sent to every other person in their year. The fact that Zay had bothered to even send the note surely meant that he had been forgiven, right? It was at least proof that Zay didn't completely hate him.

Trying to ignore his nerves, Weston made his way to the abandoned classroom. In his pocket was the invitation, which he clutched like a lifeline. A lot of his friends were already there, but Weston paid them little attention. He immediately spotted Zay talking to Jordie and Bran, which made him feel a little better. At least Jordie was there. Weston shuffled towards the group, catching the tail end of Zay's comment about wet tables. He winced. He hadn't realized the leftover suds had been that big of an issue at last year's party. What else had he failed to notice? There was a lull in the conversation, and Weston stepped forward, trying to catch his former friend's eye. "Hey Zay," he greeted softly. "Thanks for the invitation."

Salam returned a wave to Isaiah, laughing as Valencia joined her dropping into one of the beanbags as more of their classmates. "Hi Jordie!" She called across the room as he arrived, turning her attention back to Valencia and the beanbags as Isaiah mentioned something about wet salad she didn't quite catch. "I've got a great idea," she said to Valencia, taking a queue from her and scrambling to her feet. It was a lot harder to get out of it once she was in it, but she eventually managed, casting a quick Engorgio on the bean bag before backing up and taking a running jump into it with a excited yip.
