It was time to forget China, Ji realized as she swept through the streets. It was surprisingly empty, for her home town anyway. She walked through the wet back streets, ignoring the splashes of water on her deep blue gown, and continued on her way. She had to return to New Zealand. Her parents were unmoving on their decision to speak with her, and well so was Ji. Her life was almost ruined because of their rants, and she could not forgive them.
The sun light was barely audible in the back streets, Ji strained her eyes to see in the distance, not wanting to run into a thief.
