Food!

[Steph Shirley]

Steph walked into the Great Hall, and walked over to the Gryffindor table, she sat down alone and took a plate of Lasagne that ad just popped infront of her, she ate some of it, before pulling out a book, and opening it. She hoped someone would join her, this book bored her.

Harri was absoloutly ecstatic, practically floating on air as she walked down to dinner! Ellie was back at school and she was so excited to see her best friend again! She wondered over to the Gryffindor table and sat down before spotting Steph and walked over "Hey!" she siad grinning and giving her a hug, "Good book?" she asked, she just couldn't stop smiling!

Steph smiled as she saw Harri walk towards her, she hugged Harri back, and put her book away. 'Not really.' She sighed, 'Why are you so happy?' She asked with a smile.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Ahh thats no good then is it!" Harri said laughing and slumping on the bench "Ellies back at school!" she blurted out ecstatically, "I've missed her soo much and now shes back!" she said grinning.

 

[Steph Shirley]

Steph forced a cheery smile, 'Thats great news! She got over the spattergrout then?' She asked, taking a drink of Pumkin juice.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Uh huh," Harri siad, not that overcome with happiness that she couldn't sense Stephs false cheerfulness, "Whats up?" she asked making herself more serious.

 

[Steph Shirley]

'Well thats good.' Steph said, What's up? Rubbing her head, she said. 'Uh, well, in the holidays, me and James went to visit my sister, in Canada, because she had the baby, and me and my brother got into a arguement with my parents,' Steph stopped, thinking about what they had said, 'Me and my brother havnt spoken to them since. And the other thing is, me and James have become kind of.. distant.'

She closed her eyes, hoping that her and James were fine, because she really couldnt take a break up right now.

"Oh jeez, was it a serious argument?" Harri asked rubbing her forehead, "Distant? Seriuously, I thought you two were inseperable," she said, putting her arm round Steph and giving her shoulders a squeeze "Have you spoken to him about it?" she asked,

 

[Steph Shirley]

'Yeah, they said some very hurtful things, they said they never wanted me, i was a accident, i ruined there dreams.' Steph said, looking at her empty plate. 'No, no i havnt, since the arguement, he was there, its been awkward.'

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Oh my god!" Harri said "Thats terrible!" she said sadly "You can always come and stay with me if you ever need to!" she said honestly "I hope you know that! Anytime," she said smiling lightly. "I'm sure you and James will be fine! You've been through too much together already!" she said.

 

[Steph Shirley]

'Really?' Steph said, looking up, 'That would be great.'
She smiled weakly, 'I guess, i just hope we sort it out, if there is anything to sort out, im probably being stupid,' Steph said, gazing back at her empty plate and starting to feel sick.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Of course!" Harri said nodding "I'm hoping to get Ellie and maybe some others other as well!" she said smiling, "Not being stupid! But I don't think theres anything to sort out," she said smiling.

 

[Steph Shirley]

'I know, i just dont wanna loose him,' Steph said, 'Did you go to the Yule Ball? I never saw you,' She said, changing the subject.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"And you won't!" Harri said confidenly "He'd be mad to let you go!" she siad, before digging into the roast dinner that appeared before her, "Yeah I did! I saw you but I didn't come over, you were having far too much fun for me too come over and crash!" she said laughing.

 

[Steph Shirley]

Steph smiled, 'It was a great night, me and James sat by the lake til dawn.' She laughed, remembering.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Sounds perfect!" Harri said grinning, "Did you dance alot?" she asked.

 

[Steph Shirley]

'I did, James got a little conscious of the group of people we were attracting!' Steph laughed, remembering her crazy dance, and all the people staring.

 

[Harriet Turner]

Harri laughed "Was it crazy mad dancing?" she asked grinning and munching on a roast potatoe.

 

[Steph Shirley]

'Yep,' Steph grinned, 'It was crazy.'
Laughing she helped herself to a bunch of grapes.

 

[Harriet Turner]

Harri laughed "Well thats half the fun of it, isn't it!" she said grinning. Just then Jaspar rounded the corner and jumped straight onto the bench besides her "Crap are cats allowed in here?" she asked stroking the ginger cat and laughing.

 

[Steph Shirley]

Steph smiled at Harri, she jumped when she saw Jasper, Harri's cat, 'I dont know, theres not many people around, you'll get away with it.' Steph said, looking around.

 

[Harriet Turner]

Harri laughed "I'll have to get him a disguise for next time," she joked, "I'm thinking a moustoche(Sp?) and trench coat," she said laughing. "You have a cat don't you?" she asked.

 

[Steph Shirley]

Steph laughed as the image popped into her head. 'Yeah, Dizzy, she's been hiding under my bed for a while, all that travelling made her feel a bit under the weather.' Steph said, smiling.

 

[Harriet Turner]

"Aww bless," Harri said laughing "Go find Dizzy," she siad pushing Jaspar away, she doubted he understood but he trotted off all the same. "I love animals!" she said as he went skidding along the floor after being trodden on by an angry looking professor.
