Daintree was quite surprised by how many celebrations it seemed this school actually had. He had though his last school celebrated a lot but it seemed like nothing in comparison to Hogwarts. It seemed every important event had its own school dance too. The slytherin boy hadn’t brought nearly enough formal wear for all of this and so was stuck wearing a fancier enough shirt and a pair of dark jeans. Enough so it looked like he’d made half an effort when in fact he’d barely made any effort. Dain walked into the great hall and glanced around at the entrance. Much like every other event too, it seemed like there was no end to the level of decoration that the school would do for an event like this. But it didn’t matter, his complaints aside, the place did look good, the school put way too much effort in, but the results were evident. He still rolled his eyes a little at the room and just ventured further in, pushing past some of the couples who were in his path until he reached the food table. He glanced at the options and began snacking on one, he’d try a few before the night was over, after all, it wasn’t like he had brought anyone to the event.
