It was a beautiful Spring day. The flowers were blooming, the plants were sprouting and the lake looks extremely beautiful. A smile bloomed on the corner of Andrea's lips as she watched the lakefront from the First Floor Corridor window. Many students were already out the lakefront. Some of them are playing, other were chatting and others were just simply sitting at a corner and admiring the variety of beautiful flowers surrounding them. Andrea sighed. Spring is here favorite season. She was glad for two reasons, really; that spring is back and winter is finally gone. Andrea was wearing a flowery shirt over a pink hoodie with pink arm wear and jeans. Whenever it's the first day of spring, she always wear pink and flowery shirts. Jealousy crawled Andrea's brain as she watched a group of Ravenclaws running around and playing tag. They were definitely enjoying themselves. Andrea wanted to have fun also. So, she stood up and grabbed her cap. She put it on carelessly and went staggering. As she was about to move out the First Floor Corridor, her stomach made a really loud grumpy sound. Lots of students heard it and laughed at Andrea. She just narrowed her eyes and rested her hand on her stomach. She needed to eat first. Since she was in the First Floor Corridor already, she began walking quickly for she knew that the house tables were nearby

When she reached the Great Hall, she inhaled the beautiful scent of food and practically ran towards the Gryffindor Table. She sat excitedly and looked around the table in hopes to find her favorite food. Her eyes landed on a plate sitting just near her with a pumpkin pie rested on it's surface. She quickly made a grab for it. Before she knew, the pie was taken away from her.

Collin walked out of the Gryffindor common room and sighed. He had to go down a ton of stairs just to get to breakfast. It was still w workout even if he was going down the stairs. There were still many of them, and Collin did not know if he would ever get used to the daily exercise. He wore and red and black checkered shirt and and black jeans. Collin just got up and threw something one, but he still wondered of he looked okay. Normally he would not care about such things, but lately he had been. Most of the time he was in uniform, and he did not want to waste his free dress by dressing horribly. Collin hurried down the myriad of stairs so he would not happen to cross his sister. She had gotten sorted into Gryffindor with him, and he did his best to avoid her. He managed to reach the ground floor. He stopped for a minute so he could catch his breath. He hoped that he would get used to those crazy stairs soon. No wonder not many people for other houses went up there. It was too much of a climb up and it was too much to go down as when. Collin hurried to the great hall so he could get breakfast. He was very hungry.

He hurried to the Gryffindor table and he found a seat and he grabbed a plate. He filled his plate with sausages, bacon, pancakes and eggs. Of course, he got a cup of pumpkin juice. What would he do without his pumpkin juice? Then a plate with a piece of pie caught his eye. A piece of pumpkin pie. He had to get it before he officially started to eat his breakfast. Anything pumpkin striked Collin's interest. He reached and grabbed the plate quickly. He got it just in time because another pair of hands were out for the piece too. He looked at the person and it happened to be a girl. He hoped she did not think he was going to give up his pie. "You weren't going for this, were you?" he asked. He gave the girl a smug smile.

Pumpkin pie is Andrea's favorite food of all time. She eats it for breakfast, for lunch and for dinner. She even eats it when she is not hungry. She eats it whenever she feels like eating it. Andrea first fell in love with the pie that time Briar Rowan invited her to her 17th birthday party. Until then, Andrea always eat pumpkin pies. When its Holidays, she even forces her dad to cook her a tray of pumpkin pies. She is that obsessed with the food. Andrea's face dropped with shock as she followed the boy's hands while it held on with the pie. Her jaw dropped as she watched the boy smirk. For a moment, her mind went blank. Did he just...? Did he just..? She thought. She wasn't even sure how long her mind went unconscious. The only thing she knew was the boy already asked her a question. When he spoke, Andrea blinked. She moved and closed her mouth and jerked her hand away. She glared at the boy as she looked at his smug smile. "Isn't it obvious?" She asked coldly while she narrowed her eyes at him.

Collin held out the pie to the girl. He could have a piece when it was dinner time. "I was just joking. You can have it. I will get another piece later." he said and smiling gently at the girl. It was not that big of a deal, and he did not want to start making any enemies so me. He did not want to get of on the wrong foot with anyone. He did not want to make the impression that he was a mean person. He was kind and did not like to make people angry or sad. "I am Collin." he introduced himself. He ripped off a piece of his bacon and ate it. He did not need a fork to eat bacon. People that ate bacon with a fork seemed very strange to him.

Pumpkin pie had always been Andrea's favorite food ever since that day she tasted it on Briar Rowan's seventeenth birthday. The Head Girl herself invited Andrea over her special day and pumpkin pies are happened to be served there. She met a lot of friends and the experience was rather remarkable. From that day on, Andrea had been obsessed with pumpkin pies. So, the boy's next reply made Andrea very shocked. Shocker than the boy snatching the pie away from her. When the boy spoke his first words to Andrea, it made her a little mad. With that smug smile of his, Andrea was reminded of that same smug given to her by that Slytherin boy who she had a really long argument with back in the Courtyard. Andre hated his guts of course. He hated the Slytherins ever since she entered the school. Her point of view in them will never change unless she meets a Slytherin who is kind and doesn't sound very cold or very smug and as far as she's concerned, that is impossible. Andrea's face turned to a stretch when the boy told her he was just joking and that she could have the pie. "Are you seriously giving up the pie for me?" She asked, her voice full with astonishment. She, unfortunately, thought the boy was mad. And that maybe he was playing a joke on Andrea. The boy seemed serious though which made Andrea even more confused. "I... I'm Andrea. Kelize. Andrea Kelize" She introduced herself, confusion still tangled through her mind. Why would he sacrifice the best food in the entire world?, Andrea thought as she observed the boy as he rip off bits of bacon and stuff it on his mouth.

Collin did enjoy pumpkin, but he was sure that the girl was really looking forward to eating some pumpkin pie at breakfast. He would just have to do with pumpkin juice. Collin rolled his eyes, and he set the plate in front of the girl. He did not understand why the girl looked so surprised. Did she not expect people to be kind? Everyone was not always nice, but he did not go around expecting everyone to be mean to him. He did not go around assume people were going to be rude and mean. That was just mean in itself. Collin nodded. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Andrea." he said and ate another piece of bacon. If there were not pumpkin pies at dinner Collin would not be a happy camper. He would actually be very angry, but he was sure that the house elves would not let him down. Or at least he hoped. "Is it usually this nice here, Andrea?" he asked curiously. He had a feeling that Andrea would not understand his question.

Andrea was glad that the boy gave the pie to her. If it was a normal pie though and not pumpkin, she would probably just give the boy the piece since he was the one who got it first but for the fact that it was pumpkin, the pie will certainly be with Andrea. Yes, it was selfish for her to not feel at least a little guilt over this pie thing but once Andrea gets the thing that she wants, there's no backing out. She grabbed a paper plate, a spoon and a fork. She put the pie on her plate carefully and started surveying the rest of the table. A cheeseburger and a chicken drumstick caught her little eyes. She grabbed a piece each and put them carefully on her plate. She sat uncomfortably next to the boy and watched as he consumed pumpkin juice. She listened tentatively as the boy spoke to her. His words seemed quite different from other boys. It was weird really. And yet, Andrea's accent hasn't improved much also. She still speaks with her Australian accent. The boy was trying to be kind and gentle of course but those things are really not in Andrea's nature. Not knowing what to answer, Andrea just nodded and grabbed the cheeseburger and went for a bite. After doing so, she observed Collin carefully. He looked really neat like Damien. It seemed like he doesn't know what the word 'dirt' means which is odd really. The boy's next question totally confused Andrea now. "What do you mean?" Andrea asked looking as confused as ever.
