Alex had been exchanging letters for a while now with this anonymous person. This anonymous person was starting to become special to him. His Midnight. He had been enjoying the letter exchanges for a while now. While doing so, Alex had made sure to save as much money as he could to meet and see him. Today was finally it. Alex was going to surprise him. It was sort of a last-minute decision. Plus Alex wanted to travel. Alex made his way to London, without warning his mother. He was definitely going to call his mother as soon as he could.

Alex spent most of the day looking around the shops, mostly coffee shops to see if he could spot anything familiar. Though he was absolutely lost as the day went by, somewhat losing hope. He entered the next coffee shop. This one felt a little different and he heard something that was quite familiar to him. He looked across the room and noticed a boy, probably roughly around his age playing the piano. Alex paused, trying to listen carefully to what was being played, and he then knew why it was familiar. That was his Midnight Muse.

Ilya was enjoying life, loving the letters he was exchanging with his raven, loving the music it brought out of him. He was still bouncing from coffee shop to coffee shop, but he had a few faithful followers that would find him wherever he was playing. He was lost in the music, letting it swell around him and carry him in his yearning for his heart. He wasn't sure why, but as he played, something caught his attention. Still playing, he opened his eyes, glancing across the room. He locked eyes with a young man, the man looking at him with a certain... something, and it made Ilya's heart stutter. He kept playing, but he found he couldn't look away. He shifted his head gently, summoning the man over to stand with him. Could it be...? He held out hope, his raven hadn't mentioned a visit. But somehow, Ilya was almost completely sure that he could see the soul he'd grown to love so deeply.

Alex awkwardly stood near the entrance of the cafe as he continued to listen to the familiar tune. Honestly, he thought maybe he shouldn't have come. It might have been a dumb thought to find the person he was looking for. He felt embarrassed and awkward. When the pianist had summoned someone, he looked around at first, even behind him, before pointing at himself and mouthing 'me?' to make sure it was him who he was trying to summon.

(I am so so so so, SO, sorry that this is late, omg)

Ilya couldn't keep the tender smile off of his face, continuing to play. You, he mouthed back, motioning with his head for the man to join him. Ilya didn't have any reason to think so, but he was sure this was his raven. As the melody finished, he shifted into the next, the last one for the day, a new melody full of longing and angst, one he'd been been planning to send to his Raven in the next letter. But now, his raven was here. He kept playing, pouring his heart into the piece.

Alexander was still in shock when the pianist mouthed that it was in fact him. If he was being honest he didn't really know what to do. He looked around the cafe for a second. It may have been a mistake to search for this mystery person he had been talking to for a while now. Though Alex had decided to slowly make his way towards the pianist, his heart beating a little faster each time he took a step forward. His feet taking him. He was a few meters away now, not knowing what to do, but watch and listen as the pianist continued to play.

Ilya's heart was thundering as his Raven approached. He kept playing, feeling the music swell around him, imagining it enveloping them and intwininng them together. As the song finished, he stood, hooking his bag over his shoulder as he did. He moved quickly, fluidly, moving in swift motions. He hurried forward, taking the mans hand and dragging him outside. It was raining, but Ilya was used to it. He kept pulling his love, leading him away from the shop, and out of the way, pulling him into the entrance of an alley.

He stopped, turning quickly, and with no warning he used his hold on his raven's hand, pulling him in. He kissed him firmly, sweetly, eletricity shooting through him. It felt like the world stood still; the stars aligned, the universe became clear. One hand against the back of the mans head, the other arm around his waist, Ilya dipped him lightly, kissing him with the longing and passion he'd been building up over all the letters, the distance, their time apart.

Everything moved fast. Alex let out a sudden noise when he was pulled by the hand and dragged outside. The next thing Alex knew was his Midnight had pulled him in and kissed him. His eyes were wide with surprise at first, as he hadn't expected it. Though he slowly closed his eyes, leaning more into the kiss, the passion within him wanted more of the passionate kiss.

It was several long moments before Ilya broke the kiss, but he didn't pull away, instead leaning his forehead against the mans and humming softly, keeping him in close. "I knew you would find me someday, my sweet Raven," He whispered, kissing him again slowly.
